Melanie winced visibly as it was more than just her knees. There were scratches, bruising, and some small shards from the ground. Even small rocks. Even the wood shards from the gunshots had managed to find it's way into her hair and her ears still rang from the sound of Silas' gun.
She'd tell lies that she was nothing but a klutz and make this so called vet that she was always falling. Tripping, and a complete klutz. She'd never admit what Silas did to her. And this ape allowed him to punish her.

"You're welcome, Silas." Rowan knew that the human he had needed vet care. How would they handle the gladiator? He didn't know. "I have no clue as to how a vet would handle a fully trained Gladiator."

Silas rolled his eyes. Maxwell was sure blunt and very arrogant that was blind he was going to be trialed. He didn't care what Maxwell was lashing out. If that bull-headed human continued to, he would get a pop on the mouth, not a light one either. And, from the way it's going, Maxwell would get one.
"Simple, inhale the scent on the brushes, I don't believe this human one bit. He's been bluffing, denying when he foolishly admitted it. So, now I want you hunters to gather as much evidence, even talk to the victim, and where he was. This brat and that white one is too," he snarled, walking off.
He paused for a moment, shifting his sights on Rowan. "I'm sure the vet has dealt with close or worse. Besides, I don't think she has many fights left. I bet they'll tie her down, and place her either under or under some fumes to keep her completely out of it. I mean, Serenity injected her to be sedated, but awake," he shrugged, not minding to reply. "You going to carry or you want me to?"
He turned his head at Galen, looking over to her knees, then proceeded forth to Central city. "What's wrong with her knees? Surely the vet saw it?"

Venus grimaced after Rowan placed her over his shoulder. She glanced over at Silas that walked closer to Rowan. Thanks? Really? A thanks to singeing her nape to different degrees? That's just insane. She lightly shook her head. "I don't plan on anything, not right now anyway." She mentions, dropping her head back down. Silas was correct there wasn't much energy to even roll off Rowan's shoulder.

Maxwell sighed as if the world was on his shoulders. "Can't wait to meet the dreaded Council." He said to himself and no one in particular. Then he thought about his painting. It was probably dry by now and hoped his owner found his painting or suspected something was amiss. Just because he didn't have a collar didn't mean that he wasn't someone's human.

"I don't believe you human." Rowan said. "I've handled many humans and you really take the cake on them. Relentless and so focused on setting other humans free. It didn't work, now did it?"
The hunters went off to locate the evidence. They took the brushes, but there were no scent of blood. Even the one that had paint on the bristles. They walked all through the cages, thoroughly. Then they found a rock. It was a large rock, covered in blood. But the foot prints around the rock did not match a humans' shoe. Then they found other evidence, half of it being human. A cauterization tool that had been discarded to the side. All the evidence there was carefully picked up by gloves. They would find handprints through a forensics lab.
The guards returned to Silas and followed him to Central City.

Galen informed him. "I think she fell all the while you dragged her to the tree." He told Silas. "I hope she doesn't give the vet any trouble because I won't tolerate her behavior anymore. Once we're in the city, her 'rights' are gone. She'll have no choice but to obey and fill her role."
Galen also was considering on whether or not his girlfriend would like Melanie.

"Call us foolish, but it's you three who really are. Nightshift is where most of you apes bed down with few patrols at night," she gradually informed, smirking over at Silas. "While I released the horses and you all were so determined to gather them up. How foolish you were," she gladly snickered. "All the humans got free! So call me foolish." She dropped her head again. "Ah, look at the mirror.'

Rowan burst out in a laugh. "Oh? We're all foolish. You're the one who decided to simply stroll into the hunting camp to free the humans there. But, let me make it clear and plain to you, human pup. It is foolish to believe that you can outwit hunters, a handler who has been handling humans nearly all his life, and a gorilla in the Army. You were the one who is the foolish young pup among several adult gorillas and an orangutan gladiator trainer. You should be grateful that you're still alive. Had Bartu been here, you would be a puddle of goo on the ground."
"But don't you worry your little albino head about that. When the Council is done with you two, your fate may be sealed."

Venus snorted, shaking her head. "Says the ape that got knocked by a large limb, rendering you unconscious. Not to mention the blade that pierced you, and you blame it on the poor ape-raised human. Plus, the numerous of times I recalled escaping, outwitting you flea bags. It influenced others to escape." She smirked over. "Yes, we might of snuck in, and escaped plenty of times, and then sacrificing ourselves to free the entire camp. Oh yes, so foolish. I outsmarted you and Silas. The entire camp with those horses!" She shrugged. "Do what you wish, I fear nothing."

Melanie had to put in her two cents too. "Yeah! Carol and I were just minding our own business when you and Galen thought it'd be great to catch us! You and Galen, and all the others are foolish to believe an artist is a murderer. Maybe you're all so dimwitted to notice that maybe one of you are the culprit. Apes can kill apes too!"
Then. "That rock is bigger than a human hand!"

"Oh come on. Clearly red paint is not blood and there is no absolute way I lifted a huge rock like that! My hand is smaller than that big fat rock!" Maxwell exclaimed. "Besides, I couldn't see in the shadows fat-head."

He plucked her from his shoulder by her clothes. He knew that they would hold. "Silly of me. I forgot all about that. But you know what? We're stronger than you, so that gives us the advantage of being over you." He pretended to drop her, as if a bouncy ball. On purpose to instill fear. "Had I intended to hurt you, I would have already the moment you came into the camp."

Venus winced as Rowan's shoulder bumped her collar. Her energy was almost completely depleted, but her lips didn't. She listened to Rowan. "Yes, you do overrule my kind, I'm not foolish." She stated, as she was being removed from his shoulder. She grimaced, feeling herself almost drop. For a moment she jerked, then felt a jolt of pain, causing her to lightly curl inward. "I kill your kind for the entertainment of your species and their pets. Hence the act on Silas." She reminded.

Rowan didn't think that this one mere human would try to attempt that. "Too bad. You're not able to really do anything, little pup. He kept holding her at length and then hovered over the collar's shock button. "Should I shock you again? Into submission? Or allow Silas to deal with you like he did with Melanie."
