Serenity or phoenix
No one really told Allie that she couldn't go into the vet's office. For all she knew, the vet was out of their office. Books! She recognized them and went over to check their covers and even there was a strange device on a desk. One she didn't know how to access. It wouldn't matter really. She had plenty of books to look at or try to read. She picked one called "Human Conditions and Treatments" and thought nothing of it. She sat down at the said desk and opened it. No one told her it would be pleasant and seeing pictures? Oh my goodness. How can- they read and not get ill? Well, it must have been one of those books that tell the chimpanzees to do or it was a reference book.
"How can anyone read these without getting sick?" She wondered.

Phoenix was exhausted and decided to go and relax for quite a while. Maybe even take his fifteen-minute break. His last patient fought so hard, he received an intense scrap across his arm. He learned very well to keep very feral humans at bay. this is a mistake he will learn, and won't happen again.
He had his Apeplay book in his palm as he entered, and closed his door. The magazine dropped, at the site of Allie. Allie?! What was she doing in here? He scurries over, gently taking the intent book from her grasps. "Allie, this is beyond your little compacity," he whispers. He walks around the table, placing the book back.
He looks over his shoulder, still pondering why she was in here. "Uh, Allie, I see you're much better. But, I must ask, what are you doing in here? Did Serenity allow it?" He takes the book from the floor sneaking it behind his back.

Allie was surprised. Well, who could fault her for being bored? Every vet she's seen or visited was busy anyway so she figured she'd do her own exploring. "Exploring. And I saw all these books. They're weird to read and have gross looking pictures. Why do you read them and I can't?" She looked at him.
"No. Why?" She asked about Serenity's allowing her to be in here. "It was the only office not locked. Who's office is this anyway?"

Phoenix places the magazine on his desk, then covers it with a few random documents. Even flushed a little as he did. Then swiftly drew the attention from hismelf. "Allie," he muffles, lowering her head. "Your answer to why you can't, is in your own words." He walks around the desk. "Because, clearly you can't handle them."
He gathers a few more from his desk that she enjoyed plucking out. He sighs, annoyance surfacing. He was hoping to ease down to himself, and enjoy a magazine.
"My office," he responds to her. "You have your own cage with toys? How are you bored?"

"But they're interesting and strange." She said. Then as if sensing his annoyance against her, she licked her lips. "How long do you expect me to stay in a cage and 'play' with the same toys over and over?"
She stood up and decided it was a good idea to leave his office. He didn't want any free-roaming human around his office anyway. Well, if he was anything like Bartu, she didn't want lashings or electro-whips. Her instincts took over and she ran. The same instincts that were in the jungle.
The only thing on her mind was to run to 'her cage' since it offered more safety from any of the like. The cage was in view with her 'toys'. Could she close it? Probably. She closed the distance and entered. Then she closed the door. Serenity never really closed the door, but this time, she heard the click from the lock.
She didn't hesitate to try to hide from all.

"I don't" Phoenix grumbles, removing the magazine from under a few books. He strolls over to the wall, then uncovered a safe. He accesses it, then places it in. Before Allie had a chance, he seals it. He wasn't a moron. That human might find it intriguing and scurry off with it.
He watches as she scurries off. "Typical." his eyes rolls, cleaning other parts of the office. "Human, they're always more skittish then bunnies. Sad, really." He shook his head, adjusting a few things on his desk. Clearly, she had fun.

He was lucky, Allie hadn't really scurried off with the whole magazine, but she did scurry away some things that were his. She lay on her side, looking at the items, under the bed, of course. It looked like something that was completely weird. It was a weird toy too. She sniffed at it, even breathed on it. And even tapped the probe. "Hmm...I wonder what this is." She pulled it, noticing that the cord was vinyl or rubber, or a strange material. She put it behind her and looked at some other items.
She took out a smallish digital device. It looked like a phone. She tapped on the screen, and it turned on. Hmm. She tapped on the buttons. "Chippy's Pizzeria...A place where Pizza is king. Can I take your order?" Oh...pizza? What is that? "Hello? What is a pizzeria and a pizza? What does it contain?" Allie asked, noticing that she could hear it. "Oh it comes with cheese, various toppings." Allie thought. "Oh. Can I have a cheese pizza?" Ooh. This was going to be delicious? "Right. One cheese pizza and that comes out to $5.00. Are you using your usual credit card or debit card?" Allie didn't know what to use. "I guess my debit?" Then, "Perfect. We have your account on file, Phoenix. Thank you for ordering from Chippy's Pizzeria. We'll deliver it in 15 minutes." Then they hung up.
About 15 minutes later, a pizza delivery ape dropped by the vet's office with an order of cheese pizza. "Excuse me, I have a cheese pizza for Phoenix. Is he around?"
