Maxwell continued to run through the city's concourse. There was a possibility they would get out or find a place to hide. Even find some one that is on their side. Who would be on their side? He didn't know.
He looked behind him, at Venus. "Do you know of anyone who can help us?"

Silas had been on tracking the two that's been the talk of the city. The council had been trying to keep the situation from the ears on the outside. However there were countless witnesses, even a few vicious. Would be really complicated to keep this quiet for long. Boy did the apes thrill and fear on the fresh, freighting event.
Unknowingly, Silas was near, how near? Well, he could easily listen to their light scurry feet. With the casual rain pouring, it didn't help much, but he could distinct it. Quietly, he brought out his hunting weapon, observing the two run. With her being albino, she'd be easy to spot.
"Here...doggie, doggie." he taunts from the high grounds. It was nightfall, and if they glanced around, they'd see a large shadow.

The rain drenched her entire form, but she didn't mind it, but welcomed it. When was the last time she ever experienced the wonders of nature? Too long ago. She, however, eased her pace to gentle walking. There was no ape in sight. Perhaps it was too dark for others to come out, or maybe the rain. Occasionally there would be one, but they didn't care. The bright streetlights faded as they continued. She heard Silas's voice, without a second wasted, she tossed the a strong rock at him, then bolted into the darkness.

Maxwell heard his voice and followed along with Venus. There was no way that ape was going to grab him. No way! They had worked so hard to flee from the council and their guard patrols. What would they do if they got them alive?! No telling! certainly didn't want to live in prison. So he would rather be free than imprisoned.

Arnie opened a door to his little abode. This human had been living in Central City, but there was no 'records' of him. No one knew about him. He was inconspicuous, not known by many. "Psst. Venus and Michkea. Come in quick." He called to them. He also knew that - he may be killed by being association or what not. But anything to help the two...and he knew Keldo...himself. Keldo could help them. But every hunter, every patrol knew that they were wanted.

Kratos had agreed with his high council to use a certified tracker to trace the wanted humans. Kratos sent the distinctive code of the chips to the majority of the law enforcement. He wasn't going to give in yet, therefore, he was surfacing any possible way to retrieve the two.
As Silas detected them, two patrols were easily alerted nearby. They spotted Venus sprinting before discovering Maxwell scurrying after. They brought out their guns, bolting over. "Hey! Halt!" one ordered, releasing a shock at the two. With the rain, it would create a deadly current.
The two had been on the run for over a week now. There have been reports of them, but by the time anyone goes and investigates, they're gone. Few humans were taken to ensure they had not been the criminals. As time would expand, the reward would grow.

Maxwell sprinted, hearing a voice. It wasn't a friendly one either and he wished he could just find a way out of this nightmare driven city.
Maxwell tried to evade the deadly current since it was raining, but ended up head first into a wall. He was so dazed that he couldn't tell where the patrol guards were coming from.

Venus grasped his arm, yanking it away from the wall. She didn't collide like him. She bolted more into the darkness, occasionally glancing around for another way to escape. There's no way she was going to face those crazed orangutans. A small whisper seeped through the loud pattering of the rain. She didn't trust anyone at this time. But seeing it's another human and they literally had no choice. Venus bolted inside where Arnie was.

Maxwell was grabbed and saw it was only Venus. Then she headed into the humans' house with him in tow. He was about to tell her no. But he couldn't speak.

Arnie closed and locked the door. Then he looked at them. The windows shades were drawn so no one could see in. But they could see out. Thank goodness for modern advancements in technology. He put his fingers to his lips and said, "Shhh."
Then Arnie gestured for them to follow him. For now, the apes wouldn't know where they were hopefully. They had been on the run for a long time and needed a place to freshen up. BUT Arnie had a secret that no ape would know. He was able to sneak humans out of the city.

The vicious shocks bounced onto the slick current, Maxwell barely evading it in time. The current traveled down to a puddle, electrifying it. The two patrols growl, continuing to fire in the direction that Venus bolted with Maxwell. The area was fading into darkness and away from lights.
They both increased their pace, while another commed the nearby authority of the location. "CCP, this is Victor, we have the two suspects from the tribunal are on the run on the right side of Central's River." However, the two vanished.
The two gorillas swayed in circles for the two. "Gah! They couldn't simply vanish! Could they?" The one that commed, snarled loudly. He strolled to the edge of the bridge. "They might of leaped in?"

Arnie was watching them pass by through a digital device that acted like a 'ring' camera. They lost them for now. He turned around and said, "I'm Arnie. I'm here to help you, but first- you have to freshen up, eat something, and then I'll take you through a tunnel into the Jungle. They don't know anything about - this tunnel. Only we do. Hopefully, none of the Overlords know of it. It's hard to see." Arnie explained to them.

Venus had a complicated time to trusting anyone, especially apes. She honestly was one that trusted no one, unless proven otherwise. She folded her arms, leaning against the door she barely walked through. "Mmm, you might have helped us just recently, but I don't trust you. Not uncommon for a human to help, but some could be secret spies." She rose a brow. "Hopefully?" She was about to continue until the voices of the patrols came through. She growled, firing her eyes over to Arnie. "Have any weapons? Then we'll talk about following."

Arnie couldn't really tell them about everything but mumbled something along the lines of "King Caesar". Then he grinned.
"Wondering when you'd ask for a weapon or two." He opened a door to a cabinet and it revealed some nice up to date weapons. Sometimes you needed weapons to live and survive by. He gave Maxwell a gun that looked easy for him to use. Also gave him some magazines. "It's easy to use. Just clip the magazine at the handle and snap. Load and lock or lock and load." He said. "Does the most damage despite it's small size. I call it the 'noisy cricket' of it's time." Arnie slid to side so Venus would have her choice of a gun or a knife. "Caesar always says that bringing knives to a gunfight is foolish. So- to fight a fight with guns, you need the right weapon."
