Norrix was on the outskirts of the city, attending his hobby he rarely gets to do. His hobby was catching wild horses. He left the ones that had foals. He mainly went after the large studs that contained the depth of wild. It seems each time he goes out to retrieve any, just like the humans, they were descending in numbers. Recently he's been trying other locations of the wicked jungles to keep his hobby thriving.
He causally was mounted with a rope leading back with two, large black and white studs that were in tow. Oddly they were mellow at the moment. Perhaps they were contemplating a plan? Regardless, Norrix was prepped for such common action. He was very skilled with calming distinctive breeds of horses, especially the rare Gypsy ones. However. his tactics don't work so great on the pure wild ones.
His eyes wandered around, venturing close to the dangers of the raging river. As he worked on his way back to the city, his keened eyes caught a short glimpse of a white human laying in the mud. This human was extremely dirty that only patches of faint white flesh were noticable. Gently, he yanked on the reins to the obedient stud. Just as he was dismounting, another human was washed up into the muddy riverbank. He continued to dismount.
Curiously he strolls over to Venus, lightly cowered down. Slowly, he extends an arm close to her neck. A soft finger stroked her neck. A light pulse beat. She was alive? These tumbling, cold waves would kill an ape. If they did survive, they'd likely receive hypothermia. After, he went to act to Maxwell like he did Venus. Same as her, a pulse, but weak. He ran a scanner over him. It beeped a few times. He dropped his device, shaking his head.
"You're a ape-raised human? What are you doing way out here?" he muffles, grasping the device near his feet. He surveyed Venus, and it only beeped once. "A dog?" he was clearly puzzled. "Was she owned by you?" his sights bounced between the two. Dropping the theory, he grasped Venus, then Maxwell, hauling them to the two horses that were in tow with his own. Gently he bound them to where they wouldn't get hurt, nor fall.
After, he mounted on his own once again. If he knew what they both were, there was no he would aid. He's been so oblivious to the events lately.

Maxwell could hear the rushing of water before he plunged head first into the white underflow. There were also cuts, bruises, and scrapes all along his arms and legs. He could feel the coldness of the water and then soft mud. He became aware of a voice talking, but couldn't tell who it was. Too cold to care- then he felt warmth under him. He only knew that he wasn't out of the deep end. His eyes refused to open and he couldn't remember much of anything.

Venus was managing the waves at first, but it didn't take long for the intense waters to shove her in the under currents. She had a difficult time to return to the surface. She fought once again, surfaced enough to have a breath, then forced back under. She'd hit her head on a large boulder in the depths, rendering unconscious. Luckily she arrived at an eddie, and washed up. With the smacks with the head, like Maxwell she'd be at a loss with the events.

Norrix heard the light movements on the horses behind him. He didn't think they'd actually would even be awake at this point. His thoughts were they'd be out for hours due to the injuries on their heads and exposed skin. The thought drifted off as he motioned the steed to proceed once more.
Occasionally he'd glanced over his shoulder, down at the two injured humans, since they were supposedly awake. If they were, they sure were strong. Something he highly admires. For a moment he grimaced at the thought that the wild horses might just act up with the presence of beings on their backs. No shocker there. If they do, he will simply switch them out, or coax them by vegetables.
Norrix decided he will treat them himself at his large home. He really didn't want to take the two into the city, as he already possesses a home on the outskirts. He really wasn't ever a city person. He enjoyed the jungles more.

Galen was passing by on horse and gave a little wave. "Good day," He said to the gorilla. "Passing through. Excuse me." Then he noticed two humans- and said, "Two humans! Amazing catches." He remarked. "Have a good day."
Without further ado, he eased his horse into a gallop, as he had somewhere to be.

Maxwell still continued to fight against the cold feelings he was feeling. Not only was that the issue, his head was pounding from a headache. It was as if he had hit his head on something. Maxwell was so very weak that he could not even react to the pounding of hoof-sounds of a horse. His pounding head made everything sound so loud to him.
Then a voice that was so cheerful made him think humans caught them. That was ok, right? He was unsure of who the voice belonged to or anything. He was already feeling more cold and then his feet and hands were numb.

Norrix eased his horse into a gentle stop, when he heard light horse gallop. He didn't need to unexpectedly crash into the jittery ape. He didn't need the have accidentally receive more injuries. He might dislike them, but didn't allow them to suffer either.
As Galen came by to greet, the General easily recognised him. He smiles, swaying his hand in a return greeting. What was he doing out here? Guess it really didn't matter. His hand gripped the reins again.
His head shook at Galen's congrats to his easily catch. He lightly laughed. "Nah, nag, Galen these two washed up in the river." he informs, returning his horses into a gentle trot. He watched him. "Good day." he quietly responds as he continues to his domain that's in the intent depths of the jungle.
One glance over, he could see them shiver in the humid air. Yeah, it's best to get them to his place than a vet. More closer.

Venus was in and out of it. Extremely dazed. She didn't move either. Whatever that vicious current did, she'd was more weak than before. But not as much when she was at the vet. She lightly lifted her head, then back down. She grunted, dropping her head. She listened to a voice? A familiar one, Galen. Ugh. What was he doing here? Is he aware of her and Maxwell's presence. Before another thought, she was out.

Maxwell was in and out of it. Whenever he'd come to, his head hurt and the world was swimming around. He wanted to rub his head, run his head under cool refreshing water, crawl into his bed for a week, and sleep. His eyes were unfocused so he couldn't see very well.
Then he tried to move his hands. But they were bound? To a horse?

"Poor humans. Maybe one jumped in to save the other and they both wound up like that. It's a pleasure meeting you. I'm heading to an outpost to meet up with my girlfriend."

Norrix eased his horse before Galen had completely departed. He also noted the two humans in more motion. He didn't them more awake to fight being bound. It won't be the first that have tried. Just didn't want further injury. His medical knowledge goes so far before he's at a phase.
"Ah, I wasn't aware you had a romantic interest. Perhaps I need to get closer to my men." He smirks, waving a hand. "I don't have time for that sort of thing." he lightly titters, venturing once again.
As the movements increased by the two behind him, he heightened his pace. Not for just the humans' health, but the wild horses that might act on the motions on his back.
Out of fear, he increased his pace rapidly. If that wasn't bad. The common rain began.

Maxwell wasn't moving that much, except his trying to encourage his hands to get warm. Circulation flowing more. His stomach was almost about to be pummeled with the quicker pace. He wasn't about to leave anyway. Not with his limbs acting like lead weights and some rain pattering. Maxwell knew that the mud was caked on his clothes and exposed skin.
He truly felt that he was losing his strength just by trying to rub his hands to get warm. He found it easier to just lay there and sleep. Let sleep take over.

Eventually, with the quickened pace, Norrix would arrive briefly. He didn't expect the rain to ease his pace, but his fur was drenched, as well as the horses. He slowed his steed to a gentle stop behind the electric gates. He didn't dare to carelessly smack into his own gate and receive a deadly shock.
He leaped off into a swift discount. Without a signal, the dangerous gates dropped the electric currents. He grapses the reins, guiding the wet horse through the side gate to the large home. Occasionally the horse would take a moment to violently shake his fur, attempting to remove the droplets.
Soon after, the two other soaked wild horses began to act up. One rearing up, trying to remove Maxwell from his back. But it failed as he was bound to him. The horse didn't give in, and tried other tactics.
Two other horse handlers that worked under Norrix scurried over to calm the two, even offering ripe common fruit.
Norrix allowed another handler to guide his own to the stables to dry off. He'd do it himself, but had a vital matter. After the apes calmed them down. He carefully retrieved the two humans.
Causally, in a light saunter, Norrix entered the offered open door. He paused in the foyer. Unable to rightfully remove the gear, he calmly ordered two chimp servants. "I need two baths going. But not hot, more cold than warm. Don't need the two in shock.
They both tipped their heads, but one questioned the shocking scene. "What happened to them? They look worse than the common dirty ones." The other chimp scurried off.
He gritted his teeth, as he was in a vital hurry, and despises stalling. "Bella, I'll inform you later. Now, can you please to the simple task?" He asks, continuing on his way.

Maxwell wasn't really acting up when the horse began to try to get him off by rearing up and doing all types of tactics to rid of him.
Then he heard new voices. Cold water? He'd rather have warm water than that. It would shock his body into hypothermia? Wouldn't it? Why cold? Why not warm? He couldn't seem to voice anything because his teeth were chattering instead. It showed he was either cold or had a fever and that was weird. He had never been sick.

Venus was out until the rain influenced the cold, and the horses going crazy. For a moment she went awake. A brush of warmth brushed across her skin once Norrix had entered. What a pleasing feeling. Out of the pouring cold. But the wet clothes and painted mud, it was not encouraging any good
