At his age? Ruining a car? Did his guardian even teach him the correct way to drive? Of course he didn't have that thought for long. In fact, he shifted when Aaron happily spoke of an apprentice. The army part was nice. He bobs, his head, curling his fingers. "The army always welcomes you ape-raised humans. Perfect for spies." he coldly smiles, listening to the false cough. He snorts, walking over. "You lie like the devil himself. You would of been coughing when I arrived! Besides you wouldn't be hollering clearly, without a single cough."

Aaron wondered if this human was stupid or dense. "Yeah. You would have been coughing and they would have put you in isolation." Aaron echoed Bartu. "Some humans are funny. I wonder if I should buy one of those younger ones instead?" He finally said.
Aaron was thinking that maybe being in the Army was a good idea, too. If he joined the army, maybe he can prove himself to the council. But then again, they didn't care whether a human was a good ape-raised human.
He didn't reply as he balanced both. He could do a little more than spy on renegades. "Spy work?"

Connor rolled his eyes. But what happened next stirred him into action.
The handler opened the cage, ready to grab him. But he rightfully jumped the handler, even as well as punching his head and jabbing at his eyes. But the handler wasn't prepared for his reaction. He was being pummeled and being jabbed in the eyes was harsh. He became enraged and tossed the human into the cage. "You stupid human." He growled. "How dare you."
He handed Bartu the collar and leash and shook his head and allowed him to deal with the stupidity of his new animal.

Bartu gladly grasps the collar and leash firmly, grinning with excitement. he loved to tame the feral humans, even reveal who's boss to them. This little human might be an issue, but he's foolish to go after an ape for their brute strength. Firstly, he opened the cage. His two fingers unlatched the collar. "I'm going to have fun with this," he whispers cruelly, taking a step closer. "Are you ready to wrestle? Or are you going to comply?" he grins.

Connor looked ready to present him a challenge. He readied himself to leap in case he got close. It would be a foolish move against a larger gorilla, but it was possible.
"I'm not going with you. You'll regret it." Connor warned. "Don't even think about putting me in those contraptions." He moved to the side of the cage.

Bartu amusingly chuckled very loud. Was this human serious? Was this older human aware of what occupation the gorilla had for years? Perhaps not, they're dimwitted. "I'll gladly enjoy it." He welcomes the haughtiness. Judging by his stance and position. Bartu predicted his schemes well. He lunged forward, with his hand on the side for him to smack into.

But they failed to remove all his possessions and he slipped out a hidden knife and stuck his hand. "Take that!" He moved quickly to another side of the cage. He even tried to get past the handler, even slashing at him with his second hidden knife.
Then he ran towards a door and opens it with one hand, running. He found himself running through a backroom of some kind. Connor didn't know what it was. It looked like people were sold here under the cover. A black trade. He wasted no time, finding another door. Slashing, at apes who got in his way. He didn't even stop and a closed door...was either open or locked. He'd not know until he got to it.
He ran to the door and immediately reached out for the knob. It twisted in his hand and he opened it. He ran through the door and turned around. He closed the door, then blockaded himself in the little room. It had no other entrances, and windows. He was stuck..How would he get out of this room? Then he looked up. The ventilation system...He quickly moved a chair under the ventilation system. He used the knife to twist the screws. The grate came loose in his hands and he climbed up into it. He placed the grate back onto the vent itself. He put away his knife and crawled through the vent quickly.

BArtu snarls viciously, not even bothered by the fresh gash. He's been through worse during the years in the forces. He grimaces, clutching the handler, and shoving him into another ape. "Get a new job handler! You can't even handle!" he growls, stomping on the path that Connor unknowingly left behind. Blood drips from Bartu's palm, creating a dotted trail of blood on his way. Occasionally he grasps apes to humans, throwing them in the side. He didn't care what he caused. His fury was too vital. He traced that scent until it reached a barricaded room. At first it didn't open, he bashed it open. "Connor I know you are in here, you either come out or I'll force you out," he threatens. He noted the bolts on the ground.

Connor heard a voice, and pressed on. It was all he could do...to avoid that crazed gorilla. He knew that this ape would pummel him if he got a hold of him. He crawled quicker, not sure if the noise could be heard as he crawled through. He had a head start now. If he got away that is.
Connor saw a 'fan' and crawled right for it. It wasn't on so that made him feel a little better as he crawled through the fan. The vent had to lead somewhere. Maybe out in the jungle or some part of the complex. Connor didn't know. He only knew that his escape wouldn't be foiled.
The vent continued on, then he heard voices and slowly eased himself quietly. If those voices heard him- he'd be caught. It wasn't easy to be quiet. But he hoped that they wouldn't smell him.

So the foolish, yet brave human decided to disobey the only warning Bartu threw out there. It grew as Bartu left. For awhile Connor was alone, and all was silent but for the occasional voices, but they dissipated as he crawled on. Unknowingly to him, Bartu was dangerously close to him. The ventilation had to end, or Bartu would 'force' him out. Once Connor paused, with his scent strong. Bartu leaped up, forcing the crawl space down by his might.

Connor was still crawling when the front of the crawl space disappeared and he fell right out. He landed on his feet and withdrew his knife quickly, aiming it at the gorilla in front of him. He took a defensive stature. "Any closer, and I'll remove your eyes! Both of them!" He growled. "I'm not going anywhere with you!"
"Hey! That costs a lot of money to repair!" Some random ape exclaimed and then fell silent, seeing the standoff.

He looks down, over at the rightfully complaining ape. "Pah, I will supply for the damage. I really want my provoking rat," he growls, dropping from the broken shaft, and landing on his boots. He steps back, allowing the human to uselessly defend himself. He waits for his eyes to move to the next one. Once he does, an electrifying whip wraps around his ankles. Then being hauled downward.

The ape was surprised. "Well, I guess the rat deserves his punishment over the cost of the vent."
Connor would have slid to the side if not for his stupid whip. He found himself being hauled downward. His grip on his knife, loosened, and it flew from his hand. He grunted as he couldn't kick his legs. He really did not like this ape. "Let me loose!" He demanded. "Or else."
