Autumn was hesitating...Should she really tell the servant what happened? She had a 'bad feeling' about telling anyone about what happened to her. It was more like a phobia than fear. And her memories of what happened before, triggered horrid memories. She never thought it would happen again. The apes probably did not care about human phobias. "Showers and bathes are ok. Pools, lakes, and rivers terrify me." She wasn't sure if she was telling the servant. She never be near a lake, no less a river. Streams are always a maybe. She said, "It's more like a phobia, really." Autumn finally said, even as she was taken out of the bath and placed on a mat. "I nearly drowned when I was six after being tossed into a river by a village outcast. My father saved me. After that experience, I haven't been able to go near water. They couldn't get me to come wading out or go swimming. They eventually gave up on trying to teach me."
She didn't know whether or not the servant really understood any phobia. She had other phobias as well. "I only like black. Everything black." Well, her mood hadn't improved.
