"Your king is a coward." He said, coldly. "He won't even rescue you and your boyfriend. If he's such a great king, why doesn't he come here to help you escape?" He narrowed his eyes at that. They taught their humans to be well behaved, but he hadn't ever thought of the markings. "That's because your kind is unruly and aren't to be in leadership position either because you wield power beyond your capabilities. You use it against other members of your own species. Why should I release you when you have a better chance of having a better and safe life."
The ape-raised human couldn't breathe well and found himself passing out slowly.

She snorts, mumbling to herself, though apes contained excellent hearing. "Fat fool." She shakes her head, responding once he's done. "Because it's beyond foolish to come out in your main city to aid," she whispers back, "at least mine sticks together as a true team with his council." She'd probably get hit by this, but at this point, nothing would get better. "Yours doesn't."
She laughs, "you can't be serious!" Her head shakes. "My kind works together, along with a ruler who sees righteously. Not using one species to another." --
Her head shakes feeling sorry for these humans. If only they knew the truth. Quietly she rests him. He'll only be out for a bit.
She returns looking over to see if a glass window was present. Surely at this low-level Maximus wouldn't have to worry right?

"Underweight human." He mumbled to himself and just loud enough for her to hear. "The only fool that is here is you." He added in a dark tone. "You are a foolish human who thinks they can take on an ape bigger and heavier than you." He could come back with many comebacks to boot.
"At least mine doesn't go exploring into places they shouldn't." He retorted. "You humans intrude every where. Your cowardly king sends you, 'lackey's' off to do these worthless 'missions' that risk your lives daily. Least my kind keeps humans inside safely."
The human was out like a light. Nothing would wake him up.

Aurora snorts, admiring him trying to come back with another insult. She couldn't help but comment on it, "that's your kinds' doing."
Again, she shakes her head. "You're the one that keeps asking, trying to 'better' yourself. Well, honestly this is only making us fools and going nowhere, " she commonly directs out.
She snickers, "yeah to be beyond docile and not defend their self. No thank you, I will rather be able to be knowledgeable and useful."
"Seriously just release me and we'll forget about this silly...debate." ---
Her eyes carried over to the window. Ensuring no one was near, she bolted heading over to break the window, and escape.

"Pah! Blame the Overlords for your undernourishment. Pah. If you had lived here, you would be fully nourished and well off." Maximus waved his large hand and gripped her shirt. He tugged her closer. "You had enough of the debate? Good! Bed time for this Renegade fool." He tugged her toward one of the rooms and pushed her into the room. "Goodnight, Renegade."
She wouldn't know that the windows had an added benefit of bars. He had them throughout the second story.

"No," She shook her head. "Your people back at that crazed, dark market place did, then you did it as a bloody punishment because I won't and never will I give you any information," she harshly clarifies.
"Good! As long as you keep your distance and finally stop! Fine by me!" she claws at his arm as she was shoved in. "This isn't over." --
Aurora would hope she'd easily escape through shattering the glass. But thick metal bars shielded her from escaping.
She grunted, then fell onto the broken glass. She received quite the number of scrapes and stabs, some deep. She winced, crawling back into the room where she was shoved in. She grimaces on the way to the bathroom. She crawled into the bathtub. Gradually taking out the glass, piece by piece, while running it under hot water.

"You needed it because you won't talk about your blasted leader." His tone brooked no argument and he wasn't about to let her be the alpha. "You tell me where his fortress is, and I will let you go. But you renegades like to make it difficult for yourselves. Even if you told me, I would have not told our leader." He grimaced. "What makes you think I'm the most evilest ape there is? I'm always on humans' sides and my involvement is frowned up on."
He was walking down the hall and saw a human on the ground. He gestured to a servant to check him. He was out. Then he noticed the shattered glass all over the floor. And some blood. "Oh great! You are on an inescapable floor and you try to get out through a window." He rolled his eyes. "Go check on her." He ordered a maid.
She walked over to the door and entered. She heard water being run and knew that the human was taking care of it herself. She considered helping her, but she'd attack her being wild and not a domestic human. She shook her head and left. "She's handling it herself." She reported to Maximus.

She shakes her head, listening. "Maximus, give in, I'm not going to answer." She snorts, "you think that would change anything? Nope." She sighs, "so free humans."
With the water flowing, she couldn't hear him
Actually, Aurora felt that she didn't need to attack a harmless maid. Then again they could be as ruthless. Since the maid was near, Aurora heard the creaky steps.
She grimaces, "Ugh, I don't need your help." She delicately removes each fractured glass, even the miniature fragments. She gently placed them on the floor. She rinses the deep gashes and patches them up by nearby towels.

"Well, I don't have to answer any of your questions or demands." He snorted. "You forget you're not in your Renegade fortress anymore and think that you are truly free to leave." Maximus scowled. "No one listens to me anyway. I did not sign up for the countless animals who come through the pet trade and when I 'suggested' a new pet to take over a humans' place, it wasn't even given a go ahead."
Maximus didn't need to know what happened. It was all apparent and that human had learned a valuable lesson. She couldn't get out without hurting herself from a second story. See, he left her door open for a reason. If she could find it, then good. If not, then she had another day to suffer. Well, that was his intention. Trickery.
The maid would have stayed and given her some other towels. But she left. "She even didn't want my help anyway."

"You never did...and I only asked but one or two questions. I was mainly quiet while you bashed question and question about the Renegades." Her eyes switched over to another guard nearby. "I think I got that impression when I was forced here." She snorts, "so change occupations."
Lucky for Maximus she wasn't going to try. She needed to ease after receiving harsh, deep slashes from the glass fragments. Trickery was having bars on the outside from a 'fogged' window.
She listens to the maid sound 'irritated. She didn't care as she proceeded to 'sew' and 'patch' it up. She was just glad apes were not near.

Maximus didn't force her to be here. "I didn't force you here. They forced you here. Lucky you are with me and not Zaius or Kratos." He answered honestly. "Better here than there."
Every ape was dealing with the broken window and the unconscious ape raised human. The human was put to bed with a maid on duty in his room to make sure he would wake up.
The maid was irritated, but she wasn't about to interfere with a human. It was only her job to see that she was comfortable. "I tried, Councilmember. But I don't want her 'wrath' or 'to die' on the account of her. I have two ape kids at home. I don't want them to be motherless."
Maximus nodded, "You go ahead and see to them."

Aurora sways her head side to side, rolling her eyes shortly after. She can't believe he's trying to decline over and over what's the truth. She sighs, "yes you did," she argued back. "You bought me, dragged me straight to your office. So, yes."
She snorts, "all you Overlords are the same. Deny if you wish." ---
She didn't care for the ape-raised. Well she didn't want him dead, just not expose. They're basically apes, but in human form.
Aurora had no intention to attack and kill a maid. Unless she attempts to stop Aurora, then she would take action. She wouldn't kill. She's not a barbarian that some warriors are claimed to be.
She contains shards for weapons, but no provocation to slice and slay. She easily listens when she turns the bath faucet off.
She became nearly done.

Maximus decided to offer a choice. "Would you rather have lived in the lab and endure experimentation or live under a council member? If you were in the labs, you would already be experimented on. You would never move freely." Unfortunately, his debate was not working. "Suit yourself then. First thing this morning, I'll give you to Cobra. As he uses Renegades and wild humans for his experiments. Sleep well, human. Because your life will be different tomorrow." No one really showed up at her door for the remainder of the night. Not even the maid. She was heading home. But there were apes patrolling the floor and a makeshift window board was nailed to the broken window. The noise of hammering echoing through the hall would keep any human up. The ape-raised was still out.

Aurora at this point really didn't care anymore. She came to the results she would die young by torture or 'pet' either way she views a cold ending.
She pointlessly shrugs. "Whatever," she blandly states. Her head shakes, "you Overlords are all the same. It's the false perspective your society acts on."
She snorts, "no different than you and any other brainwashed ape. Just another form of torture. It's still the same." she rolls her eyes. "Just because we won't expose anything." -- She didn't care she was forced into the room, she'd plan to sneak out. --
Aurora was tired but easily fought it off. She grappled one of the massive shards. She looked out of her room. She glanced around.
She could easily slaughter them with a 'blade.' Instead, she would use the furniture and toss it at the guards in the hallway. She gathered a few shards, hiking down the hallway.
Shed actually wouldn't do any harm, just force them to drawback. They likely have a higher hand with bullets, tranquilizers, and weaponry.

Maximus rolled his eyes. These renegades were stubborn and wouldn't really break. No amount of debating would work. But he wouldn't give up on his questions. He would continue to ask and probe. Brainwashing. He snorted. "I don't brainwash any ape. That's their choice to listen." He said, smoothly. "Nor do I brainwash humans. That isn't my job."
They didn't care whether or not she slept.
The rest weren't aware of her plight or escape. Maximus wasn't to be seen anyway, having retired to his study. His servants and staff were getting ready to leave for the night. Save for one ape. Himself.
