Connor winced visibly as he would never see her again. Well, that was what he expected anyway. "I don't expect to see my mate any way. What's the use in having any 'hope' to see her again? You apes split up families like they have no 'feelings'." His voice was holding truth in the facts. He always had this feeling in the pit of his stomach. "You're tired of my back talk and demands? I already told you I would perform that task." Connor found himself wishing he could just shake his head, but his head was in a 'grip' that didn't let him move.

Allie lost track of how many doors and passageways to the point that her legs gave out every so often. They were just too 'quick' and 'fast' for her to keep up. She didn't trust them not to dunk her and with a crazed gorilla 'ordering' them. "Yes and I'm not the foolish beast. Unhand me and stop dragging me. You're hurting my legs with all the dragging and hauling me through this long hall."
Then she truly lost her footing.
