Fair game? Was this crazy ape serious? How was catching and releasing them, fair? The subject can easily be altered some or forever. Now, that's not at all fair, but overpowering. She wasn't sure how to respond to that. Raven didn't like the sound of his tone. It was dark and evil.
The jungles really didn't scare her as she's been there her whole life. But one question did startle her. "Are you placing me back where those, well sicknesses are, where you talked about?" she asks, puzzled.
Raven calmly shrugged, then glances around. "What a strange place, very bland."

Alucard shook his head. "You'd get it too if I placed you in that place. I intend to leave you near a village." He finally said. "This is a lab. Not a comfortable hut."
He may have a dark tone at times, but he didn't approve of the hunting of humans. "Humans are considered fair game when they're hunted. It's not I that hunts humans. I would rather use 'justified' means to obtain them."

So wait, both places are harsh and sickening, then where is safe? Or was he bluffing? Cold, if so. Though, in reality, she wouldn't know and oddly took his work for it. She still didn't understand what was going on. "Then what's safe?"
She shrugs if she could. "I don't know what a lab is, " she honestly states. "Never heard of it."
Right, and he literally just hunted one. So, Raven didn't believe him. "You just caught me, that's still hunting. Even if you do release, " she states factly. "Justified?"

Alucard stroked his chin as she presented a question. Many Overlords would say with them. But here he was, with a probable pet. He never thought of having a pet. "Well," He considered. "Safe while I'm here. Otherwise, if I leave you by yourself, you'd get either taken away by another scientist or will create chaos." He didn't quite let her go.
He decided what harm would it be if she knew. "It's where scientists work and find cures and experiment new products on humans and apes. It's not that bad. But every human hates it here for some reason."
"And I don't really harm humans like the true hunters. I needed a specimen so I went out and got one myself. No weapons used to obtain you." He answered in defense. "I justified myself."

His twisted reply only delivered confusion. She will be in harm either way? Still, which one would be minor than the other? Particularly she requested to understand, next it would be simpler to predict which one to be safer and neglect it. The meds within her system surely created the worry to fade. It was evident she had been beneath the control of the side effects, or the lingering results.
Raven intently attends to the 'deranged' scientist. She meditates on that information, then drops out her own opinion, "another word, you use us, humans to test your new creations on?" she believed she was close to the truth of her kind in the labs. "That seems a little...cold," she mentions.
"Perhaps not, but a stabbing weapon that caused me to pass out," she was referring to the tranquilizer. "So let me get this straight, you obtain a human or creature to use your own and various creations on? Even if it harms?"

Alucard nodded, because she just had guessed right. "And now you understand," He gave a smirk. "what we do. Fortunately, I don't let my subjects die." He would rather they live through the procedures. After all, it wasn't harmful to test them. Besides, most of them were just well known antidotes. "And you've been cleared all your 'germs' so that makes it better for you. And your invisible mites are cleared too." Meaning the hair mites that not many can be seen unless by a microscope. "You're actually immune to them now."
He explained, "Not a 'stabbing weapon'. A means to obtain a human without harming them with bullets or electrical shock." He had a concentrated dose prepared in the tranquilizers he used. They would range from the lowest to the highest. The highest in putting a human out for surgery. But he would only use the low doses. "I use low doses."

Die? In her situation, she'd like to. It's bad voodoo, well to her village to be near one of these apes, but they refer to them as the Takers, Destroys, Demons. Though, with little intelligence, she was combining her primitive thinking with Alucard's scientific mind.
Still, it was puzzling, very hard to grasp, though, visibly she's trying to bring it to light. To ALucard's response, she was correct? In a way she supposed. Yet, she didn't expect any lesser to a 'demon' with the cruel things he does. "Subject?" She pondered for a minute. "Good I guess..." a little lost.
"Oh are you talking about the invisible itchy spirit? The one that gets you if you disobey the shaman?" She was referring to the mites. "You removed them? Great." She peers over at the other, Valhalla was it? He sure was quiet. "Immune? How? Talisman?"
"Low doses.." anything low was a good thing. "That's' good," she mumbles.

He explained and he may be a cruel overlord, he still believed that he was doing good for humanity. "You're doing something that'll help your own kind." He went on to tell her. It wasn't a lie. It was truthful. "You may not understand what we're doing here. It's hard to when you aren't skilled." What the human did not know was that the bed she was on, was keeping her vital signs reported. She wouldn't read them. Couldn't read them so she wouldn't understand. "Yes." Alucard chuckled. "They were like parasites mostly. But you'll have them back if you use the same brushes to brush your hair. You aren't immune from them. We just need a clean lab to work in." Alucard removed a syringe from his pocket and it was capped. It was filled with a clear sedative. Should he need it for her to keep quiet during their transfer back. But for now, he needed to observe her reactions after the low dose of the antibiotics and the sickness. He replaced the syringe back into his pockets.

Valhalla had been quiet throughout the whole lab experiment. Mainly observing. It's what he did. "An immunity is when you've already been sick. You've obtained some of that defense. But new ones, aren't so easy to get rid of. Especially when they are resistant to our treatments and medicine. Through science and medical science, we can find a cure to end it." Valhalla was right. He could go farther in his field. He also had given some of his treatment to Cobra's human. Which enraged Cobra. And his own subject feared him deeply. She was also obedient. Valhalla may have been cruel to his subjects. But Cobra was 'brutal' in what he did to Noella. She screamed in pain as if Cobra was punishing her on purpose. When he was done, she'd be found to lay in a curled fetal ball. Valhalla wouldn't treat his subjects like that. Then Cobra's human went missing and he helped Cobra find out who took her. But it never went further than that. "We need another subject." He finally said.

Help? That's always a great resolution. Help with anything is good. There was not much that Raven understood what Alucard was attempting to explain, other than helping. Sure she knew that exceedingly well as she strives to do it, other than being disobedient to her village. Little to her, that village possibly doesn't exist any longer. Perhaps it was a good thing?
Oh? "I like helping..." she bluntly spoke, then added, "Perhaps not...but you're trying to at least explain it on my level." She wasn't sure if she spoke that correctly. However, she was observing the high-tech lab room, intrigued, though it was cold and had a sense of 'don't enter'.
She only was experienced with Val and Alucard, each of an odd cold aura, not welcoming at all. Were they misleading? She had no hint if they did. "I don't want to be your next subject...and I'd like to be returned. I really am not enjoying being bound, with no way off." She finally told.
