Amelia couldn't sit still in that little space! It was so confining and horrid. Why did this space seem so small? The glass did nothing to help her and she banged on the glass, not really wanting to be in such a small space. It wasn't her fault she was 'actively' trying to escape. Whatever she was doing, it was bound to hurt her more.
"Let me out of here! Everyone knows I don't like small spaces!" She exclaims. "Someone get me out of here! Hello!"
That's when she began to kick the glass with her shoes and that was only hurting her feet. She shook her head as that didn't work well. No one seemed to come over to let her out. She wasn't calm like usual.

After the pointless argument over who gets what over back at the young pup. He would return to bid back over at the teen. What is with these apes being greedy and desiring the one the other has and dumping there's to get a better? Quite cruel. He's seen many strays put down.
Quietly, he walks over to the small containment. Well that's wrong. He sighs, placing a paw on the transparent wall. He smiles down at the human. "Do you have a name? Little human?" he curiously asks, dropping his have to his head.
"Why are you freaking?" he silently whispers to her.

Amelia's frantic movements, only eased down long enough to utter a name. "Amelia..." He seemed nice. "I don't like small spaces." She felt like the cage was getting smaller by the minute.
A gorilla handler finally walked over. "Hello. Are you interested in this sweet girl?" He wasn't sure if the chimpanzee would want her. He gave a little smile and then noticed. "I think we're going to have to take her out and that's the biggest cage we have in here." He slowly opened the door, allowing the human out.
Amelia started to calm down and now stood in the cage's door frame. Amelia glanced over at the chimpanzee with mild curiosity.

Phoenix gently smiles over at the sweet human. He wasn't sure why she freaked until her behaviour became more vividly. She was sensitive and disliked close spaces? Well that was common, just not a phobia.
He steps back as the handler approached from the side. He sighs, shifting his friendly gaze over to the handler, responding, "actually, I am. However," he rose a finger, "has this little one been checked by a vet?"
As she was brought out, firstly, he smiles then asks a question. "My name is Phoenix, Amelia. Also, are you petrified of small spaces? You seemed intently bothered by them." He rose a brow. "The biggest? Right.."

Amelia was relieved that she was finally out of that small space and the first thing she did was give a wide smile, before trying to slink off. Amelia could use this short time, while the ape was distracted and asking questions, to slink out of the door-frame.
The handler reviewed the files on the humans. Each one of them had seen the vet except for Amelia. "Not yet. She's scheduled to see one this afternoon." Then he noticed the human, sneaking around and looking for a way out. "As usual, they try to leave."
Fortunately, Amelia wasn't like most humans who would flee at the first chance she could. She knew that there were armed apes and they were much stronger than she was. She looked out the door, watching everything. Metal objects glided on the road? What were those? Should she get closer? What did one of those metal things feel like? She was actually engrossed in those metal things.
The handler glanced to the young human, noticing that her intense curiosity was watching the traffic. She had yet to open the door. "Also, she's almost obedient. Since she has an enclosed space fear, we've been teaching her to stay within this area. She has yet to really escape. And she does have a collar on."
Amelia turned around to look at Phoenix and she slowly nodded, "Yes."
Then the handler said, "We tried to find the largest one. It doesn't always work."

No vet? No wonder why these creatures get ill. Perhaps it is time to finally crack down and shut down districts that are slacking one breaking the guidelines. However, it wasn't on his mind. He sighs, "that's okay, I can do it."
Secretly, Phoenix had been already monitoring the girl. He used the animals escaping or trying to. Even if she tried, Phoenix would easily prevent. His head shakes, quietly attentive to the handler. "You handlers really should keep these creatures in leashes. I swear I see more humans escape by the foolishness of the handlers."
He was annoyed. Mostly hours before, and the night too. He hides it very expertly. "I'll take her, this time, place a leash before revealing. Because you just might lose a sale next time."

The handler looked surprised. "Are you sure?" He didn't know Phoenix was a vet and didn't know much about anything. He was following the in-house vet's instructions. He had a system. "The vet here hadn't visited yet because he visits the younger ones first. The human over there doesn't seem ill."
Amelia, growing bored with watching the traffic and walked over to hear the new chimpanzee say something about leashing her? Why would they need leashes in the first place? She wasn't about to be put on a leash. "I don't need a leash." She announced proudly from a distance that no handler could reach. She didn't mention that the collar was too big around her neck. They would just find something else to complain about. Plus, she also had a habit of eavesdropping. Made it even her business.
"I'll take 600 for her." He didn't want to rip him off since he realized he was a vet.

Phoenix wasn't aware of the truth and was too swift to even judge before being informed of the details. He sighs, with a small frown. "I didn't realize," he muffles, not very appreciated in himself. "I..I didn't realize." He shakes his head, "yes I'm a vet. A proud one at that."
He snorts, already having his swift fingers in his grasp. He wasn't a fool, he's aware of their intentions. "Fine, 600, but I have every right to ensure she doesn't escape. Because I'm not going to chase if it's our doing," he strictly states. He was serious.
"You need a leash and a collar," he firmly mentions, not wanting to have her be the 'alpha'.

But Amelia wasn't used to leashes. She wanted to 'stay the alpha'. "No!" She kept exclaiming. It was the first real move she made to 'flee' to corners of the 'cages' and anything to not wear it. Unfortunately, the ape had her small hand. "No! I'm not wearing a leash!" She protested. "I don't need a leash! Or a stupid collar." She took a hand and worked the collar until it fell to the floor. Triumphantly, she said, "I don't have to wear a collar and a leash."
"Sold." The handler left to go get a leash and collar. But when he went to put it on her, she fought him with one hand. "No!" She was provoked and hit the handler on the hand. It was just one of those things she wouldn't wear. "I'll not wear it."

Phoenix wasn't even in the mood to even deal with this sort of thing. It was a late night with 'occurrences' and happenings. He just wanted to flop on a bed and pass out.
NO, no, he was foolish to travel back to the cages for another human. One of the reasons he wanted his own to have a playmate. He could always take her to the fields.
He growled, grasping her shirt, luring her back over. He snorts, "don't worry about it, I'll have her on my own." He curls his arm around her waist holding her still. Then he applied a sturdy collar and leash.
