Maximus rapped his head lightly. "Keep quiet." He growled lowly to Spork. "You will learn quickly." It didn't matter whether or not he had a candy treat or not. Well, guess his human needed a lesson on council sit-ins. Many humans were never recognized except for two humans and even they teeter tottered. "You either learn the easy way or the hard way. We're equipped with how-to pamphlets and how to handle disobedient children." He ground out. "Talking out of turn is not recommended nor is it a bright idea to burst out in a protest such as that." Maximus didn't mind rebuking his human. This wasn't Kratos. "If you talk out of turn one more time, I'll see to it that you're taken to the manor and locked up for the rest of the day. No TV, no video games."

Nikita liked that suggestion. Trading amongst countries? But, what would she have to offer? Maybe as the two bickers with their pets, she could ponder. Wait, why were they present at a vital meeting? She didn't even have her own human there. She was only curious and didn't stir anything. Their choice anyway. Honestly, what could she offer?
She lightly banged the table, only to receive attention from the two. Realy? A sale among the two? Are they not interested at all?
Her head shakes, "please President and Council Member Maximus, can you two discuss a possible payment among your dogs after? I'd like this to work out, but you need to be serious," she sighs. "If you don't want to, then say it."
She listens to the two discuss ways to have the ape-raised not getting apprehended. "I have ours back at our home with an implant. It never tracks them, just reveals their identity. Plus, it's where they want it," she happily informs the two. Her hand rose, "of course it's up to you two."
"16 and 17?" she ponders, allowing the two to converse possible positive outcomes. "You sure your other council members would agree? Unless it's just you two?" She peers over to Maximus. "Who?"

After refusing an offer for his 'dog', he shook his head. How did pets ever enter into the council chambers? They were never really allowed here. He shook his head. "These dealings are kind of a joke." He finally spoke, swinging his head to and fro. "We are here to highlight these topics here. We are getting off the subject at hand."
Maximus swung his head towards Nikita. "We require an ally with Sweden and if we trade goods, we can help our economy and growth. We have items of interest in our cities that would possibly benefit Sweden during the winter when fruits and vegetables are few and far between." He explained. "We have greenhouses."
Maximus was trying to explain the implants, but Nikita explained it better. "Tracking identifies. Not tracking their location. But if only he or she goes missing. It would help to have a GPS in their implants. It's not a pet tag. Bracelets and necklaces can be removed. Implants cannot."
"I'm not sure." Maximus said. "I think it's just Kratos and I."

Kratos went quit when he was basically told to hush and 'back down' with Maximus's sudden 'bidding'. Though, he agreed, it really wasn't the place. Though, he really enjoyed the appearances.
Eventually, he drops the entire, useless bidding, they both were right.
"Nikita, I wasn't meaning to betroth our children. No, I couldn't do that to my own children," his head shakes, clarifying, "but our pets. Young ones, not adults. Since they would need time to grow and learn about each other. Adults are likely to fight."
"I'm sure you can offer something from your continent. I mean isn't it one of the largest mines or offering from the forests?" He wasn't that knowledgeable on it.
He allowed Maximus and her discuss other matters as well. Kratos will focus on other topics.

Maximus also offered something in circumspect. "I also believe that children do get along with other children. But we should also note that humans are sociable animals. If we isolate them from other humans, they will become withdrawn and depressed. Many apes like their human pets to be happy. If we were to create a new law prohibiting their interactions with each, we're dooming them even more."
It was a fact. Not something to just brush off. "Humans are intelligent animals and if they are totally depressed and without members of their own species, they'll find a way out of this and not escaping." Humans were often happy when together. Unhappy when they didn't meet others of their own species. "It gives them a chance to talk, play games, and get together. We have our own festivals and shows. Not many humans are even allowed there unless their owners bring them along."
"I also think we should allow the humans to have their own festivals. If they have them in their villages, then I don't see why they can't celebrate theirs either."

Nikita slides her head to the left side, as Maximus demonstrates the reasonable ways to negotiate a workable trade. Well, her own country is one of the greatest wood deals, as it's recognized to hold great wood quality. Possibly she could add that data too? Then again, these foreigners just might use their own trees. However, jungles are very fragile, normally.
She rests her fingertips on her cheek, considering feasible projects that would cooperate excellently. She politely smiles, withdrawing her hand to the sleek tabletop. "We can do exotic fruits, I know you supply that well," she notifies them of her agreement to the barter.
Then, she swings her head over at Kratos. Well now, he truly responded this time instead of drawing the topic away as he frequently does. She discards her smile, how our pets any diverse? Suddenly she consulted for about thirty seconds. A vigorous nod came out as a silent response.
"Alright, we can do royal pets," she allows in a gentle whisper. "I can't do that to my children, this isn't the primitive days."
She leans to the side as the water flowed into a fancy glass. "I'm aware humans are herd animals. They're no different than several distinct types," she clarifies. She grips the fragile glass handle but didn't take a sip. "Only good, and ore, that's about it."

Maximus knew the tropical fruits would do a great trade to the countries. "We have plenty of tropical fruits and also discovered a new species of tropical fruits." Maximus thought bartering and trading partners were better than a war. He shifted his gaze to Kratos. "And what do you think?" He asked, "Trading exotic fruits?" He hadn't yet spoken yet. The royal pets. "Royal pets should be chipped. They can be kidnapped despite the guards guarding throughout the palace. I have seen that some guards disregard royal pets being important. But there are some that are irreplaceable." He finally added. "Now the pet trade is under some scrutiny from Zephram due to the fact that ape-raised humans are being kidnapped in broad daylight."

Puck had started to fall asleep against Kratos when he brought up betrothing young pets.
His eyes shot up like he’d been socked in the gut. Had Kratos just promised him to a pet of this... Nikita? On what planet was that ok? Was he not allowed to chose who he... Was this a joke? “Wait? Betrothing young pets? But I’m your youngest pet,” he managed nervously - now he was a little scared as he tapped the giant orangutan’s knee. “Are you saying you’re going to expect me to have kids with one of hers...? Like I don’t get to even decide what kind of mate I want?” It was a little nerve wracking, especially at only fifteen.
When Maximus commented on the chips - he felt the back of his neck. Where his still sat like a sore thumb. “Least I don’t have to do that again.” He grumbled.

A fresh exotic fruit? HAd it been genetically altered like the extensive trees? Spliced with petite trees to generate miniature trees, even particular forests. She relishes the varied, marvelous miniature foliage, exceptionally where they can't furnish. Personally she fancies plants, consequently the satisfaction in vacationing the States.
"I think it's worth a shot since the complete continent had been swamped by jungle," she softly whispers, bowing her head, accepting. An intrigued gaze fluttered over to the astonished human. Him? That pitiable pup was now informed of his viable future. Should she ask? Was he truly the youngest?
Before Nikita was going to mention on Puck's solicitude for his doom, let alone fate, Maximus presented an understated statement. Chipped? There has to be another way, she only expected.
"Maximus, anyone could really fry a chip..." she genuinely apprises, being conscious. "However," she pats the tabletop, looking over to Kratos, "we recently created one that implants in the teeth, apart from the nerve system, enhancing immunity to fry." Her head shook, breathing, "I also allow my pets to have their collars removed when eating, or roaming the palace," she informs.

Maximus thought about the forests and jungle fruits they have. "We can help build an inside greenhouse so that you could grow your own." He offered helpfully. He didn't touch base on the pup. Actually, he had more on his plate it seemed. A message kept beeping on his console and he scratched his head. He wasn't sure what was so important that needed to be read. He gave a warm smile to her. "Various species of trees have been genetically modified to withstand cold and freezing temperatures." He indicated. "They're resistant to disease, blight, and insects that like to eat their leaves and burrow into the fruit to lay eggs in the pits," Maximus explained. "Also, we've genetically modified vegetables, too." The facts of chipping an animal were always on his mind. They were too easily manipulated and fried. "A dental implant. We could pull a tooth and put an implant in the shape of a tooth." He finally said. "First, we need a suitable test subject." He glanced down again on his terminal in front of him. Now the message was flashing. "Excuse me for one moment." He excused himself for a moment to read it. His face fell when he read the message. When he returned to his seat, he glanced over to Kratos. Should he tell him or let him stay in the dark. He leaned forward and spoke in a voice. " Kratos. Esmeralda the schoolteacher's missing, an ape-raised human named Olivia is missing from her family and her brother just reported her as a missing person, criminal apes are kidnapping ape-raised humans. Another kidnapping of an ape-raised human just occurred in broad daylight."

Kratos was intrigued, enjoying to listen to Nikita and Maximus's discussion on miniature trees, also offering greenhouses to aid fruit production. Kratos had a few ones he could enlighten, though those two were in a deep conversation. Instead, his focus was drawn elsewhere.
Dental implantation? Why didn't his crew discover that option? Little off, he parts his lips, about to talk until he was gently interrupted.
Kratos drops his eyes down at the young human, then over to Nikita, softly shrugging. "I was thinking about it, or another. Depends on things," he muffles. "Besides we just began," he reminds.
Kratos looks over, a little discerned on the elevating of crimes. In disgust and annoyance, he leans toward Maximus. "Alert Zeke to get onto his job," he whispers in a short growl. "Assemble our camouflage forces to patrol." He looks around, pondering whether to depart while Maximus Continues. The two seem and a few others...wait, where's Zaius?

Maximus leans forward and remarks that the director already has been informed of the kidnappings. "Don't forget. I have an ape-raised human working for me." Maximus was uncertain whether Aaron was truly working for him or not. He seemed to have an agenda or a personal matter to attend to.
Aaron was quietly running his own investigation. "The ape-raised humans are apes and is it not our duty to include them as such? And Aaron seems to know Olivia from his schooling." He pointed out. "Both seemed to be sharing the same teacher." He added. "Aaron has begun to run his own search and rescue." Fortunately, the young man was interested in helping them. But since meeting his red-head pet, he's been acting differently. Maybe he couldn't tell the differences in friend and foe. Aaron saw all humans in a fair light. Unlike most Overlords.
"Also, Zephram's office is already investigating the disappearances. Their reports are more troubling." He left out that part. "Members of the patrols are in on the kidnapping according to Zephram's reports."
