Cobra dropped his hand against the log, not expecting the young, wise ape to ask a question. He sighed softly. "No, I'm not a fool of such." He answered, grumpily, shooting his head over to Bartu. He snickered slightly. "Besides, those fun dogs are pretty dumb when it comes to things they don't understand." He snorted, rising off the log.
He tossed his cigar into the fire, then walked over to Bartu. "Since I'm going alone, I'm going already, I'm tired of waiting." He huffed the last reminisce of his nasty breath. "I want a new human for my project. Feisty ones are fun, but they attempt to kill, I return the favor." He cruelly enlighten.
After he strolled away towards his horse, mounted.

Galen didn't think about of Cobra's intentions all too much. He didn't know Cobra was here for a human to use in the Labs. That unfortunate human would not last long. Galen knew that there were many wild feisty humans living out in the jungles. He believed they were wilder and untamed.
Then again, Galen had never owned a human and was mildly curious about the cages. There had to be one human in there that was unique. "Hey Rowan." He asked, non-nonchalantly. "Do you have any unique humans in the cages?"
He watched Cobra go to his horse. "Good luck finding a wild human that fits the description you seek."
He chose Silas. "I choose Silas. He seems like an interesting ape to learn some new skills and I may learn some new hunting tactics. And I don't want to learn some kind of bad impression." Young apes didn't need to learn bad ways especially when they were young and gullible as it were.

Rowan was momentarily surprised by Galen's question. He had seen many humans and had one unique female. "I have a unique female in one of the cages. I call her a little spitfire. I don't know what the apes did to her when they caught her, but boy is she wild as can be. I don't think she would be for you, Galen. She's already escaped once when we opened the door."
Rowan was left with Bartu. Given his first impression of the soldier, Bartu was a tough gorilla. Nothing ever seemed to phase him no matter what type of thought process Rowan had. "Then I'll go with Bartu." He said. "I'm not afraid of a challenge or learning about how to take care of wild humans. I may even strike a deal with him if he chooses that female." His tone was a little cold towards the human female. When he was in the cages, he genuinely cared for each of them. But out of there, he was a different ape. "We shall see how this hunt turns out. I look forward to bagging me some humans or having them stuffed for all the world to see."

Bartu glared harshly when Cobra approached him exceedingly close. He snorted out of mockery. "Go right on ahead. Don't let me keep you hindered." He snorted as the nasty air ventured into his nostrils. Boy. This chimp is trying his patience. His large hand shot over to grip Cobra's shirt but he was out of reach. Bartu jerked his head over his shoulder not shifting his cold glare on the crazy chimp. "Hey! Do another of your gross breath and I'll pound you one. Insane chimp!" He hollered, angrily. He deeply huffed turning his focus on Rowan. A small smirk. "I'm glad you have chosen me willingly. Because most avoid." He rose off his log. "What female?" it was clear he wasn't listening. "Because normally I catch for my own humans."

"The hunters caught a wild spitfire of a human and none of us, including the vets have been able to examine her or get close. She bites, fights, and kicks. She runs when we open the cage door. I have tried treats, bribing, and just about everything possible. She's either endured some form of torture and won't let anyone near her." Rowan said. "She's about 18 years old and almost like a feral pup. We really need to test her and see if she's sterile or not. We just can't get close enough to her."
Rowan wasn't sure if Bartu would be interested in her or not. Being as wild as the ones in the Jungle.

Silas monitored the group from a small distance, especially that insane scientist, Cobra. Cobra appeared to be absolutely heartless to these certain animals. Silas got pondering, how this crazed chimp treated large cats, fowls, and even small insects of different kinds. If Cobra appeared to have no heart with humans, why would he have a small affection for animals? There's something for sure, to feel sorry for the human in his grasp.
A warm smile dressed his face, he was glad his partner agreed to be with him during the hunt. He shot his gentle stare over at Galen. This young ape would definitely need the aid, especially bring anxious at a small group of apes, prepping to hunt. Plus, Galen seemed to have more affection, with a dash of kindness. What more then he witnessed from the others.
Spitfire? That human sure sounds like trouble. Silas honestly liked fiery humans. It proved that the creature was already fitted to be a future-gladiator, or simply aid the gladiators. Which the humans that do help, need to have a strong backbone.
Silas rose his large palm to retrieve the attention of mainly Rowan. "That human is a feral pup, especially being that age." He stated, lowering his hand and rising off his thick log. "The majority of human caught are sterile. What makes you believe this one isn't? A sign? Temperament?" He questioned him further.
His eyes shifted over to the young ape, Galen. "We may leave whenever you're ready." He informed the ape, warm and welcoming tone.

Rowan began to wonder about the way the feral human was acting and even as well as attempting escape. She was desperate. "I don't know anything else other than what the hunters said when they brought her in. They said she hardly spoke a word to any of them. And the way she acts is like she hasn't been sterile. All humans I've ever seen are sterile and more compliant and obedient."
Rowan didn't want her to go to a bad home. "I just don't know how to get her to sit still so we can give her vaccinations and see if she's a carrier of the plague or is not sterile. We know that rare humans exist, but there are a few that are capable of not being sterile."

Galen listened the exchange between Rowan and Silas. Rowan wasn't afraid to go with Bartu. He could learn from Bartu, but he wanted to avoid having a bad role model. He hadn't known any human to be so feral.
"Do you think the feral pup will ever be tame?" He asked. "Or maybe it's an act out of fear? Maybe she never heard about our cities or us in general. She could be reacting out of fear?" He suggested several options.
"I'm ready whenever you are." He showed him his gun which was on his back in a holster. "And I have a horse."

Cobra snickered, not even faltered by Bartu's threat, he only laughed at in mockery. He smirked, gripping the reins. He wasn't done teasing him yet and honestly didn't want to venture ahead. He would enjoy tagging with another group. Even though it's against the rules to go after a human, all he has to say, it 'I saw it first.' very easy for others to fall into his bluffs.
He gently tapped his boot against the horse, motioning it walk over to Bartu as he rose. Cobra, from behind spoke. "I like to see you try. Pound a chimp!" He joyfully provoked. "You'd be against your own rules." He continued.

Rowan snickered behind his paw at how Bartu threatened Cobra and Cobra coming back with a witty reply. They weren't going to start hunting unless someone intervened. "Oh come on, Bartu and Cobra! There's a time and a place for everything. Could have this disagreement later. Pound each other later."

Bartu grimaced after Cobra's truthful remark. His fists curled tightly clearly vexed from the constant provoking from the crazy chimp. His head intently shook trying to manage his temper and preventing from pounding the chimp behind him. He liked and loathed the scientist. He, however, listened to Rowan's honest words. His annoyed eyes bounced over to the ape. "Alright, you're correct. But if he gets in my way of hunting. He's going to get it." With that, he strolled over to his partner. "Come on let's get going."

Silas was silent, intriguingly listening to Rowan's response about the details on his captive. Feral, fighting? isn't that common to a variety of species who are frightened, and retaliate out of fear? A warm smile dressed his face, extending his large arm over to Rowan. He gently patted his head once, then removed it.
"Rowan, right, is it Rowan?" He asked, uncertain if he's got two names blended. His hand shook, along with his head. "Never mind on the name. I've been dealing with feral humans, even ones that were gentle and shifted into a feral." He enlightened Rowan. "So, I'm not sure if you're correct on your part. I guess it varies on the human." He gently shrugged his bulky shoulders.
Not again, those two apes are going at it again? Silas deeply shook his head, occasionally watching the two silly apes. They were going to ruin the trip that's for sure, well maybe them two alone. But Rowan is with that emotionless gorilla. Poor thing.
Silas calmly walked over his partner, Galen. He amusingly smiled at the young apes' eagerness. His paw reached over, tapping on Galen's gun. "Now, now. Are you going to shoot the human? Or trying to capture it?" he questioned, wanting to know the intentions of the ape. "Because, when I go, it involves melee weapons, and equipment to retrieve one." He stated.

Rowan smiled a little. "I know he wouldn't really harm one. I want to experience what it feels like myself. I'm sure Bartu will open up if he's not being aggravated. See you Silas?" He said in a friendly tone and heading out with Bartu. Maybe he could strike a conversation with him.

Galen shook his head. "I wouldn't harm a human. That's for the other wild animals out in the jungle. For protection against those. I wonder if there are other feral human pups like the one Rowan is talking about." Galen was glad to be teamed up with Silas. He felt a little sorry for Rowan. He was brave enough to team up with Bartu. It was true. Many hadn't ever teamed up with him because of his 'attitude' or way. Well, Rowan didn't seem to mind it. After all, Bartu was a seasoned hunter and they both were not. "I can't wait to capture my first human. I'd like to present one to my girlfriend. She never had a human before. I hope I can get her a special one. Maybe a young pup about 18."

Bartu easily overheard the conversation between Rowan and Silas. A cold, small snicker came out. He was very intriuged yet amused by what he was eavesdropping too. He would harm a human. His carless and ruthless personality wouldn't prevent it. He waved his hand over heard to have Rowan follow. He mounted on his large brown horse. He looked back over to Rowan. "Have you ever been hunting?"
