Rowan was able to answer him. "It wasn't the exotic. The exotic would not have left without her sister. This was a white haired girl and a there was a male with her too. She gathered an ally. What's weird is he is overlord raised. Turning against the Overlords." He spoke. "I'll see a doctor. But you're right. I need to rest first. I have a headache." He saw his cot and sat down on it.
"I hope you get the pest. That's all she is."

Venus was stunned by how Maxwell mastered the tree limbs, she'd expected him to be slow or having a struggle going tree to tree, as he was Overlord-raised. She smirked by the time they arrived near the camp, and it seemed quite a bit were bedding down for the night. She cowered below a dense branch that shielded their presence from others. "Alright, we're going to need to sneak in. I wouldn't doubt if the others over Melanie would be awake."

He nodded as he looked down to the camp. It was unlike his village. There, the humans had huts instead of cages to live in. They may be just temporary. Then he saw a young woman sitting in a cage. "Look. That human's not asleep. She's just sitting there. Is that the one who - we're going to rescue along with the others?" He asked, curious..

Melanie was indeed sitting in her cage and she wet from a cold sweat and sniffling. She watched all the apes going to bed down for the night. There was no way she was going to sleep tonight. Slowly, she stood up and began look around around for the hidden control panel inside. She was aware that there were no apes patrolling the cages. They believed they would just go to sleep. But not her.
There was no way she'd sleep tonight. She found the panel inside and knew that the controls were only worked by apes. Melanie fiddled with the control panel buttons. The cage turned a blue for cooling. She growled and tried another set of buttons and the cooling went off, replaced by a warm glowing orange. Well, that was much better. Then she tried something else. What if she blackened out the cage? The warmth filled the small space in a matter of minutes, but the thing is? The sniffles were still present. Then she sneezed, not realizing that she had pressed a button and then the door opened. She blinked, noticing her freedom. She swallowed and hesitated.
They would punish her if they found out. She bit her lips, looking this way and that for any ape. There were none...the moment she exited the cage, is the moment a silent alarm went off somewhere.
Melanie was sure no one would notice and sprinted off to the refreshments available. There was water in cups, fruit, and some kind of jerky. She hoarded whatever she could, as if taking a journey. She was chewing on some jerky when she turned around to leave.

Silas continued to observe the quiet areas of the encampment for Rowan's steed. He'd suspected the horse return with Rowan, and that didn't appear so. Lightly, he scratched his head, firing his puzzled eyes down to Rowan. The mount didn't appear to be in sight, and Rowan not answering didn't help.
"Your horse Rowan, where is your horse? Was your mount stolen?" He questioned again with deeper Intel. He shifted back a little, not expecting the albino to actually team with another. "Uh, an ally?" He scratched his head harder. "A Overlord-raised human??" He softly mimics the hurt hunter, being very astonished. "Rowan, I honestly don't have any words but a suggestion. He could of possibly been persuaded."
Gradually Silas slowly followed over where the gorilla planted himself out of exhaustion. He grasped the metal pole on the outside. "Little pest? Carol and it seems her sister actually are." He muttered, shaking his head. "But, I'll assure you, we'll retrieve the albino, you're not the only one that was attacked." He released the pole. "Hopefully I get Carol in the process."

Galen was also sure that it had been the albino and exotic acting together. "They must be because there's no trace of her in the camp. Sneaked away while there's been action. Maybe you didn't see well because you were taken by surprise." He admitted. "You should see a doctor. Do you want me to go get one for you? Or do you want to wait and see?"

"I think my mount bolted." Rowan finally answered. "I was out for a little while before I woke up and found myself behind a tree. I did capture an overlord-raised human and that was the end of it. He must have tricked me." Then he got a little angry. "When I get my hands on him again...he'll learn a valuable lesson from me."
"I think I'll be fine. It takes a lot to make me feel a lot of pain."

After taking all the food she could, she looked around the flap of the 'refreshment tent'. So far, she saw no apes. She made her move- intent on escaping. No one would stop her! Not even that awful one who punished her. She was silent, stealthy, and believed everyone was finally asleep.
She heard voices, but didn't think anything of it. She briskly ran.

Silas rose his palms, with lightly waving his fingers. "Now, now, whether it be Carol and the albino, or just the ape-raised human, it's really not going to solve one issues." He stated, lowering his hands.
"I mean Melanie was crying when we came up to her. Perhaps I didn't contemplate this over, obviously." He gripped the bridge of his nose peering downward. "If that exotic escaped then her sister would joined. They don't like being apart." He added, watching Rowan fume.
"Just look at her she's...." He severed his voice as he shifted his head over his shoulder, detecting an empty cage. He winced. "These recent humans are surely causing an issue." He growled. Slowly, he walked off into the dark areas of the camp.
He traced Melanie's scent that expanded each time He slowly got closer to her. It was strong near the refreshment table. He grimaced in annoyance, and being tired. His head shook, folded his arms when he appeared behind her.
"Going somewhere?" He questioned, irked at the moment. "I'll tell you what, you provide more information regarding your sister, I'll allow you to keep what you store." He offered, prepping if she dared to bolt.

Melanie froze as she had been caught at the refreshment table and a familiar voice sounded from behind her. Should she bolt or should she try talking to him? Already she didn't know where her sister was. She had been asleep and then woke up to seeing her gone. How was she supposed to know where her sister was when she didn't even know who took her? "I wouldn't know who has her anyway. I was asleep." She answered, not bothering to turn around and look back.
She was hungry and there was no way an ape would take what she had away from her. "You ain't getting my food." She pointed out again.

Silas faintly grimaced when the human basically told him off. However, he didn't need to attack by words, instead was being more kinder. Though, he really didn't enjoy being demanding by a human, an animal.
He sighed, grasping Melanie's shoulders as she contemplated on whether to bolt into a random direction. He's aware of the natural reactions to humans, and this one was known as trouble like the other two. He was one step ahead of her to prevent her escaping, even though the alerted patrols would stop her.
Slowly Silas shook his head, observing Melanie being possessive over every she stole. "Now, Melanie, no reason to be so hostile. I don't plan on taking away your food." He mentioned to lower her defensive motion. "I figure you were hungry, as you where kept in the cage for hours." He stated.
He gently turned her around to face her, despite being naturally intimidating. "I'm aware you were asleep. My question is, if your sister would leave you if she actually escape?"

She noticed he was much kinder so she was much relieved because why fight something bigger than she. Of course he was naturally intimidating. Her sister wouldn't leave her. "No. She'd never leave me. We made a promise to stay together at all times. Despite being separated. She and I were asleep- at the same time."
She wasn't being evasive. She was being honest.

Silas bobbed his head, listening as good suspicions were becoming a reality. As Melanie answered, Silas had noted that she eased down, and didn't appear as hostile to defending her goods. Which, he was aiming for. Humans seem to be simpler to work with when they are mellow.
Slowly, his fingers curled into his palm, hardening his fists. "Of course, of course." He grumbled, wincing out of disgust. "Thank you, Melanie, that answers my leery question." He thanked, turning his head to avoid to reveal his anger.
"It's clear, that your sister was secretly abducted..." He muttered, not caring if anyone heard. His eyes narrowed cold to his right. "I'm sure I believe who did, they mysteriously vanished. Could track her scent." His muttering continued.

She didn't care nor did she know where to look for her sister. If he could locate her easily, he could locate her. The scent would probably be gone or too faint. Slowly, she eased herself even as he balled his fist. "Nice meeting you, bye bye now." She hurriedly walked off, still holding onto her items.
Well, it was clear that she was abducted and didn't want the same to happen to her either.

Venus intently observed down below at the locked cages, the constant patrols, and, especially Melanie with two familiar apes by her. She stepped on a lower branch, grasping the higher one above her head. Lightly she leaned forward as she noted the girl use keened schemes to escape her containment. Deviously Venus smiled, very impressed by the human. She glanced over to Mat. "Yes, I can make a distraction, and you free the others." She suggested to the ape-raised human. "Don't fear any ape, or you'll reveal they have easy power. So, stand strong." She added, before sneaking down to the ground.
