Galen wasn't oblivious to Melanie trying to leave. He reached out and grabbed her collar. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked. "Did you not learn your lesson like from before? Must we also show you who is boss?"
"You'll learn your place the moment you get into the city."

Melanie groaned. "Oh let me go! Not like I can escape with Macho Man over there, Psycho the Ape, and all these other hunting poachers!" Melanie burst out in an indignant, but immature impersonation like a real teenager from the movie, "Clueless."

Maxwell was now pale because he hadn't murdered any ape. To him, it was because they were bored...and were enjoying taunting and teasing. He didn't know anything about hurting another ape. Unfortunately, he was starting to believe that he did. He did hurt an ape and then what? He should have stayed with his village today!
It came gradually- not right away- no one would notice until it was too late. Good, a vet? Someone with a sense of brains.

"That's enough Melanie. Your temper tantrum won't work for me." He was thinking. "Tell you what, if you're a good human pup, I'll give you a treat after you see the vet." It was a bribe, but treats were something humans enjoyed when they did something good. He also didn't want to seem like he was always going to punish her. But if she did force his hand.
"Maybe I should leash you. This way you can walk around and not have to be carried all over the place." Galen thought.

Silas could view in his corner sights the sly move Melanie had slowly attended to. His eyes rolled, getting exhausted in overpowering anger from all three. Never in his life, even in training humans that three would be such an issue. Well, their little havocs and moves, only build Silas's skills better. He was upset, but secretly enjoying it.
Silas lowered his chin, shaking his head in quiet anger. With a swift hand, Maxwell would get a harsh pound on his cheek. "That's enough you murdering feind, try again, I dare you. You three have crossed my patience beyond the breaking point. Honestly, with your strong defiance, you're lucky you're not dead." He snarled, returning to his journey back.
He winced, noting the strong pain that pierced Rowan's eye. He had an idea about the level of pain that throbbed in his sore eye. What mainly caught his attention was Rowan's cold suggestion, and sadly, Silas agreed. His hand waved over his head. "Do what you like to break that fighting spirit down to close to death," he harshly added.
"If they continue to be a pest," his voice boomed over to the group, "bound and toss them in the cages" he darkly suggested, not removing his glued glare. "Except that one, she's being harshly dealt with." he directed at Venus.

She released the rocks, covering her bound arms over her face as the splattered sand rained o her from the constant fires around. She yipped, sealing her eyes intently tight while nibbling on her lower lip. Another yelp came when she was unexpectedly hauled harshly from the ground. Silas's cruel scowl did pierce so deeply, she slightly coward her head. Occasionally wincing from the wounds on her nape being compressed. Before she was able to reply, Silas ruthlessly tossed her to the ground, it wasn't the first. She arched her head back, grasping collar trying to ease the intent pain. After she was clipped and likely hauled to her feet, Venus lightly fought the strong leash. She looked over at who held the leash, Rowan. Oh, great not the ape she's harmed multiple times. It would be awhile when she actually would, she'd fight in crawling to avoid being completely wiped out.

Maxwell grunted in pain as he was smacked on the cheek, harshly. His mouth ached. "I'll be dead by tonight anyway." His words were in short bursts.

Rowan pulled the leash quite harshly, towards him and Silas.
The other hunters looked at Galen to see what he was doing. Well, he was being gentle and not so mad as he was before. They looked at Maxwell. The hunting party were planning on doling some of their own 'revenge' for hurting one of theirs and possibly would end up beating him up pretty well.

Esmeralda rode up on her horse, with a large satchel attached to her horse. She rode up to the apes and said, "I can vie for Carol and Melanie if you have to go to trial. Carol is a different story. I was heading to my cottage when I heard crying. I thought an ape child was hurt and went to investigate. What I found was a human in real bad shape. She was so hurt that I couldn't leave her behind and managed to get her to my cottage. For three months of being in my care, she rarely spoke a word. And at times, she sung songs in such a heavenly voice. She did it when I was in another room. When I'd come into her temporary room, she'd stop singing songs and huddled in a corner. She always huddles in a corner when she's frightened or believes she's going to be beaten for singing. Her wounds gradually healed with Overlord medicine I administered. The deeper wounds would flare up on occasion and she would often find comfort in me. She had nightmares at night and there's no telling what she had endured before she met me. I was confident in her obedience and allowed her some freedom to leave the cottage, but on one condition. The condition was to only go to the orchard for fruits to eat. Nothing more or nothing less. The young woman also soon learned that I wouldn't hurt her if she sang. So, she sang."

"Right. And I'm a Fuzzhopper." She remarked, rolling her eyes. A fuzzhopper was a furry grasshopper evolved from a grasshopper. It was covered in white fuzz and feasted on crops and edible plants except poison plants. "All that egotistical raving maniac wants is my sister and threatens to enslave Carol. And you want me to be your 'slave'.
Her face was sore so she was cranky, hungry, and tired. She had dropped all of her stash of food- and used the last bit of energy to try to leave. "I hope someone kicks his reddish haired butt because when they do, I'll be laughing my butt off because- I find it funny and entertaining." She was sounding like a spoiled brat child but didn't care. "He's a Blackfuzzwubber." Which was the deadliest spider in the jungle and everyone is aware of it.

Venus yipped at the harsh tug, smacking the inner metal to her wounds. She nearly stumbled over her feet as she crossed her way over to the revengeful ape, and the ruthless orangutan. She might not be able to speak, but her intent eyes reveal all. She narrowed her scowl at Rowan, not bothering to look over at Silas who'd likely be occupied with the other two humans.

Rowan smirked as she gave a scowl to him. "You will learn your place or you'll have it rough."
He looked over to Silas. "Tough cookie to break. Very tough cookie. Gladiators with intense training."

Silas easily slapped the pestering girl that continued to rant off, and on about boasting her arrogance. He didn't care by this time what he'd do to the disobedient brats. Venus was lucky it wasn't Silas taking over. He was already easing his inner anger as he strolled on the way to Central City. Purposely, he was gradually making his way back to the city, in no rush. He planed on having either all or some trained.
"That's enough you brat. One more Melanie! One more! You'll regret it like that defiant gladiator!" He hollered, shooting the hand he used to slap at Venus. "You're diminishing my patience with you all. You're lucky you're not mine, you'd be sore," he simply stated, drawing back, returning to the long travel.
Slowly, he glimpsed over to Emerald who interrupted as she rode up. His palm rose, signaling the apes around him to pause a moment. "I'll think about it, Esmeralda, I'm at the point to throw her into a cage while we go," he roughly looked at her. "That's up to Galen. That singing, defiant brat is his, but I don't tolerate what she's calling out. Mine or not." He snorted, signaling to walk forward.
Silas wasn't as occupied as venus believed, and responded yo Rowan, "yes, they sure are. You're lucky you're able to slowly bend her to your will," He shook his head, "training since five? I'd say so. But, I'd expect this one to be in the nursery by that age," he snorted, then detected her scowl. Being his, she wasn't so lucky. He backhanded her where the muzzle didn't cover. "You do not threaten in a glare."

Was everything humorous to this sadistic ape? Nothing seemed to provoke or draw him into fear or nervousness. She growled harshly at him. She perked an ear, listening to Silas's repeat of her information to Rowan. Nursery? What's a nursey? She furrowed her brows, then easily detected Silas's horrendous glare. She hastily ducked, being already aware of that glare and the results it did. When his hand was away, she rose.
