Rowan felt the leash around his neck, but that hardly did anything. His neck was thick and his next move was to shock her with the collar. He hadn't wanted to but he pressed the button, despite her injury.
And then the hunters began to form a circle around her and held their armed guns and glared at her.
Rowan stopped them. "Stop." He said. "I have her under control. This one won't be easy to break since she's been trained to kill apes, and never stop despite the fact that she's down and out. Use the fluid restraints on her arms and legs." He ordered. The fluid restraints were similar to Cobra's restraints. The more she fought, the more restraining methods were used on her. They would hinder her well.

She yipped extraordinary loudly, falling to the ground with fatigue. She sensed the guns, faintly believing they had enough, and rather shoot, than proving their strong will to break. She rose after they applied the ruthless restraints. Stunningly she didn't fight as she was on the verge to collapse. However, she visibly fought it as she was forced to follow Rowan. She would kick one of the guns out of their grasp but was too exhausted.

It wasn't far long before they reached Central City's first check point. There were guards and patrols looking at the humans. They had cages available for the humans.
Rowan forced Venus into one of the cages. "This one is a pistol. Be aware of her defiance. Don't let your guard down."
The guards eyed her and the others.

Silas flickered his eyes from the annoyance growing from the acts of the defiant humans. He noticed that the harsh backhand was dodged once again by Venus. He wasn't stunned, and scratched the back of his neck, easing his peaking temper. He was casually a gentle, hard to cause anger to flow, ape.
His eyes journeyed over to Melanie, softly rolling his eyes. "You either accept to be obedient or punishment will flow to you. You've witnessed the things of being obedient to disobeying and talking trash. If you're so smart as you appear to be, then use your smarts for your future," he snorted, continuing to lecture, "Ape only punish when you're being awful. It only gets worse if you continue, like I simply displayed for you. Of course, you're not mine, but if you curse at me, I don't tolerate." his palm drifted to Galen. "My partner can take it from here."
Then, a disturbing scent entered his nostrils. It wasn't exactly familiar, but he could easily locate the disturbing aroma. His eyes glimpsed down at the stained paint. Well, Maxwell admitted to being a painter, and contain those same aromas. He snarled smacking the artist on the back of his head. "I'd advise you to watch yourself, or you'll be the one painted in red." he threatened, not being specific.
A deep relieved sigh came out after arriving at the first checkpoint. As Rowan tossed in Venus, he strolled over. He rested his arm against the top of the cage, leaning. "Rowan," he spoke softly. "I thought you wanted to keep that pest on a leash and walk her to the point of exhaustion," he wondered, then peered at the pale woman. "I mean you could visibly detect the intent exhaustion." His finger rose. "But it's up to you as you're the one punishing her, which I highly thank you."
He grasped Maxwell, forcing him off his shoulder. He had him upside down, smirking with dark amusement. "Keep it up, you'll be thrown in a cold cage."

Maxwell yelped in pain as he was smacked on his head, but already aware of the paint. It wasn't entirely his fault and here he was, getting blamed for something he didn't know happened until he noticed it. He didn't have the paint cap on good enough. Then gasping as he was upside down. His arms flailing. Well, he had red paint all over his front too. and the empty tube fell out from his pocket. There was no more left to do anything with it.
And now he had a headache.
Maxwell hoped his village knew that he had disappeared and would begin searching for him. Someone would.

"So it's like obey and don't get punished and disobey and get punished?" She crossed her arms and laughed as he scratched his neck. "Oh good! You have lice! That's what you deserve for treating humans harshly and always smacking them around." Then she hid behind Galen to avoid what he would do next.
She peered over and saw a cold cage. "Ugh! I'm not going in there."

"You're welcome. I won't tolerate behavior such as this. Besides, this cage- is a bit different than the cages in the hunting camp." He smirked at Venus. "There's no controls on the inside. Just on the outside. She won't be able to make anything malfunction and it's more reinforced closer to the City. They really made them good. It's a scanning cage too. So whatever weapon she has- will be detected."
She was still on a leash, because he was holding onto it. "And I hold the leash because this human will attempt an escape once the door is open. Or we can transfer her over in this cage without having her try foolish attempts just now." Rowan spoke. "She wrapped the leash around my neck and it didn't even do anything." Then he smirked. "After scanning, she'll have a shorter leash and will be walking once again until she gives up."
He glanced over to Melanie and said, "We have already told you several times to obey- do you not listen? Or are you deaf?" He shook his head. "Obey what we say and no harm will come to you."

Galen noticed that Melanie hid behind him when she said something about lice. Not all apes had lice and he shook his head. "Stop being disobedient, no ape will have to punish you. Stop name calling and no one will punish you."

"Fine! I'll stop calling apes names, but all of you have to stop calling me names first. Stop slapping and smacking me around just because you think I'm always bad or being human." Melanie didn't care about what the apes thought and continued to hide behind Galen. She believed that Silas wouldn't come around and grab her again. Then tie her to a tree and try to break her. "Nothing you do, will break me. You can't break a human that's already been broken." She was defiant because she didn't want to appear weak or cowardly. Nor did she want them to notice how weak she truly was.
She looked at Galen and then at Silas, then at the others in the party.

"Put me down, fat-head." Maxwell said, still flailing his arms and then his hands turned into fists. He tried to punch him, but he was held too far from Silas' belly. "That is your new name. Fat-head."

Melanie was the only one who wasn't impeded by a leash or held by Galen, Rowan, or any of the hunting party. She gave a little cry at the way Silas was dangling Maxwell. She ran over to him and bravely began to punch him on his belly, with her fists. "Urgh! Let him go!" It was like seeing a child against an ape. "Let him go!"
He may have been stronger, but her fists were probably not doing a lot of pain.

Just because the controls are on the outside, doesn't mean the devices that obey the controls can't be tampered with, especially when they're activated. She quietly smirked to herself, peering over to the few cages present. There's always a way out, nothing can completely secure humans. They just have to be bright. Ah, has Rowan learned quite the tactics? He's so lucky she's exhausted at the moment. A shorter leash, it might help, but could easily be used against him. Just wait after the swap. Her eyes carefully surveyed around at first.

Rowan wondered if he should smack the cage to show he was alpha or not. He watched her, thinking about gassing her into sleep. Then that would be easier to get her there. But then a cruel thought. He smirked. He'd walk her until she collapsed. He could be cruel, cold, and heartless.
He saw Melanie pounding on Silas' armor about letting Maxwell down.

Silas rolled his eyes at the childish behavior. Not really amused, but exhausted by the humans, the sooner they arrive the better. Though, he really desired to have the three down to beyond exhaustion. Perhaps Silas should take on Rowan's tactic, but drag them once they are. Yes, maybe that will teach them.
He stroked his chin, pondering on vicious ideas. Maybe it would be better to bind them and drag. An old way to punish, cold, yet straight to the point. He evilly glared over at Maxwell. "You'd be the perfect test subject, yes, you will." He roughly grasped Maxwell's collar plucking him off his shoulder.
Then, Melanie pounded on his back uselessly. He, also grasped her, this time by her hair and dragged her over to the back of the horse. He exchanged vicious scowls to each. "This shall remind you." He continued over to a random horse being used by another ape.
First, he bound Maxwell, then swung him over to his back as he bound Melanie next. As he did, he casually listened to the highly defiant human, and her shrill. He sighed, peering over to Rowan, "whatever you feel that needs to be done. I'm strained over these two." He snorted, "Melanie could be a wuss and cower after this so be it, she'll just be like a little, mindless rat."

Melanie's hands flew to her head, yelping in pain. "Oww...No..what are you doing? Don't do that, please!" Melanie was pleading. "No please! Galen help help!" She was crying as she was bound. It wasn't because she was anything like a rat. "Not a mindless rat."
