Venus gritted her teeth as the ape she fooled galloped her way, she could easily note the fiery eyes, and with the grip of the reins, he was not happy. She returned to completely hide behind the tree again. She lightly breathed, not trying to have the other two hear her. Leave her be? Could they really do that? I mean they left the human a few feet from her alone. She could easily differentiate between animals and humans. She smiled, resting her head against the tree. They're not stupid, she would return.

Without another moment that ticked by, Cobra hastily moved closer, jabbing the syringe into the soft spot on her shoulder. "Nighty night." He uttered.
Slowly, he retracted the shot from her flesh, capped it, and placed it back where he removed it. The serum channeled all over her body, releasing chemicals to knock her out cold, but results vary between each victim.

Carol wasn't prepared for him to shoot her with a syringe that hurt like a yellow jacket. She tried to fight the effects of the shot, but it was working all too good. She found her eyes closing against her will. There was no way to fight it off as she succumbed.

Silas nodded, looking up at the canopy trees, then back down. His hand caressed his orange locks, gently sighing. "If, so, then let us return." His exhausted eyes popped over to Galen. "Galen, you're quite correct. Smart humans would return where their pack was taken, and attempt to free them." Two fingers played with the horse's long mane.
Despite having the scent of Maximus and Venus around, Silas was going to track what his partner wanted. Slowly, his fingertips brushed the straps bound to the horse. The lingering scent of the two humans would have peak aromas, then draw back to faint. He wasn't sure why perhaps the wind?
Regardless he gripped the cords, gently tugging to the side. "Alright, let's go." He bluntly ordered, waving his hand over his head. "We'll find you another human later, Rowan." He added, then proceeded forth towards the encampment by a soft trot. He wasn't in any rush.

Galen and Rowan nodded and they followed him back to the encampment. There were no other signs of any of the cages being destroyed, but some of the humans were smart enough to look at the controls. "Oh..They'd better not try what that other one did." Galen voiced. Then he noticed Melanie and saw that she was crying... "Something's wrong. Carol's not in the cage with my human." He jumped off his horse and started to tap on Melanie 's and @carol's cage. "Hey...What's wrong? You're safe now." But she was sad?

Melanie didn't care at this point. All she knew was she would never see her sister again. She had grown quite close to her in a small amount of time. "I don't know!. I'll never see her again." She finally spoke to the ape. "We were sleeping and when I woke up, she wasn't there."

Venus fell onto the branch, inhaling intently, she couldn't believe those three actually departed. She rested her back on the thick branch, swinging a leg. However, those three apes were correct, she would return to rescue some. She definitely would need to mask her scent, as apes easily tracked it. Like the blind opponent, using ears, and movement, also smell.

Rowan didn't follow Galen and Silas to the camp. He had another human that he had smelled and wanted to try getting him on his own. He smelled the human's scent. He jumped down off the horse, and jumped into the trees. Swinging from branch to branch, he found Michkea. He cocked his head, watching him do something to a brush.

Silas observed around at certain cages that Galen pointed out. A light grimace formed, as his partner's words might be correct. Even though that the humans were attempting to escape the way that the albino did. Very certain they wouldn't get far, one the hunters would scurry over to prevent the tragic event.
He shook his head, swaying his head over to Galen, smiling. "I wouldn't worry, Galen, I'm sure the hunters around are on high alert." He mentioned, directing a finger over to the keepers of the encampment. "Look, it seems they're replacing the metal with wooden." He added, dismounting, and bounding the steed on a pole.
Silas descends his chin down to the ground, grimacing, then internally fumed. "Of course. Of course!" He called out, shooting his head skywards, scowling up at the clouds. "Of it's not one issue it's another."
Slowly, he travels over to Carol's cage, smoothing out his dark expression to not frighten the human. He placed his arm against the clear wall, peering down at the balling human. "Can you provide descriptions of the abductor?"

Melanie became more hysterical. "It was that crazy one that wanted me instead of the friendlier gorilla." Melanie sounded miserable. "I'll never see Carol again because everyone wants her and I want to go back home. We should've stayed out of sight from every ape." She wished she had stayed in bed and perhaps their voices wouldn't have brought their attention.

"They wouldn't know how to - open their own cages. But they're not stupid." He noticed the guards on high alert.
"Now now. It's not your fault. We'll find your sister." He opened the cage, going against his better judgement, and decided to try comforting her. He picked her out and sat down with her in his lap. Stroking and petting her head. "There there. It's going to be fine. I was thinking maybe both sisters would be better off together. In that short of a time, they've really gotten more closer than I believed." He looked at Silas. "You can have Melanie and Carol. I wouldn't like to separate family and both would probably feel better to be together than separated."
Galen had noticed that countless young humans weren't used to being separated from their parents. They cried for days. "I don't want to see a human unhappy." He informed. "If they're unhappy, they'll die early from depression."

Venus was resting on the tree limb when she had discovered one of the apes did not follow back to their camp. She grumbled, rising up, bouncing her sight in various directions. DO these hunters never ease on their hunting? Or take a break. Man, they are a problem. Swiftly she tailed Rowan from a great distance, and above to avoid detection. She halted when Rowan spotted what he sought. He pause, Venus observed from above. If he was going to take action at the human, so would she. this different human might be brighter.

Maxwell went through his paint bag and noticed that he had forgotten a color. Well, he could go get it and come back to his painting. He thought he heard something and paused, listening. He remembered that the Overlords always hunted here. "I'm an Overlord's human. He allows me out in the jungle to paint whenever I want." He spoke loud and clear.

Rowan paused in his tracks. "Is that so?" He asked Maxwell. "Where is your collar? Are you tagged? And where is your owner? He should be nearby."
Rowan noticed that he had tools for painting and brushes in his grasp. "You're a painter?"

Venus rolled onto a branch, observing the calm event from a high point. She caressed the blade into her grasp, going to engage the two if she needed to. She still contained from all the hard events recently. However, she wasn't going to allow strong pain to intervene. Curiously, she kept watching the two interact. She lightly dangled her foot onto the side to become more comfortable with her injuries. She wasn't familiar with a painter, and what they did.
