A Human's Fate (Open)

Rowan nodded. "I can confirm that she did say that there was a bear in the area. She went ahead and told him that she saw the bear and walked away as quietly as possible. She was adamant that there was a bear and even showed the footprints around a bucket she had dropped." He looked to Kratos as he spoke. "I don't truly think the human was actually lying about the bear." Rowan said.

Maximus had listened long enough to their explanations. "Let us just say that each vet has seen their fair share of humans. Each of them a different case. You cannot compare one human from a past case. Each human female is different than the last."

Maximus shifted through the files regarding the fear of bears again. "Humans fear many things that are unknown. Ask any of them and they will tell you that their fears are either of large animals, big cats, dark places, and even us. It depends on 'how traumatized' they are. One wrong move can create a fear. The human was in a constant state of fear and according to the second page of the report, which is Rowans'. " 'The human expressed a fear of Bartu and myself. She attempted to wade out in the middle of a crystal clear pond. She expressed levity, and was acting like a bird. Bartu waded out, grabbed her when he warned of snakes and piranha's in the crystal clear pond. The human informed him that the crystal clear pond held no dangers. He proceeded to wade out and grab the human. He took her to a different pond, filled with snakes. She was frightened and clung to him. He dunked her in several times. She questioned him on some personal matters and he got furious. He grabbed her and dragged her towards him. Then he backhanded her. And that's when she attempted to leave.'" Maximus paused in his reading.

"BUT this wasn't an army mission! Had it been, you would have just plainly shot and killed her." She then wondered if there were any other apes. "There were two other apes who went human hunting. They're not here." Serenity spoke. "Galen and Silas went hunting and the other humans I checked out had no noticeable injuries except for one. She had deep injuries that weren't caused by any ape or the jungle. Most of her injuries were all from being hurt by humans."

"Maybe we should ask them to come in to testify as well." Serenity said.

Serenity drew her eyes to Phoenix and knew she was in the wrong once again. She sighed as perhaps she was losing ground on this case. She had to ensure this human didn't get traumatized over and over. But there was a chance that he was right about the actions of Bartu. It could have killed the human.

Kratos nodded to Serenity, while listening to her logical answer. His finger waves upward. "Now, estimate how many humans you've seen that contained this, and when you were recently hired." He continued to seek for answers to confirm a variety of things. His eyes bounced between Phoenix and Serenity. Kratos was only leery of just how familiar was Serenity with the situation.

Kratos swiftly rolled his eyes in annoyance, another typical action of Bartu. He sighed, rubbing the side of his head. "You dunked her in an infested body of water, knowing what it contained? Just to prove a solid point? Wouldn't it be easier to reveal to the creature the serpent?" He questioned, appalled from the event. "Backhanded?" His brow rose, interlocking his fingers, slightly leaning closer. "Bartu, please enlighten me why these different actions."

His eyes peers over to the side where Maximus is seated. "To a point Maximus, if the ape bought a permit depending it. Apes, to prevent high restrictions can do quite what they want, especially when the creature fights back. Sometimes you have to get cruel." He explained the different scenarios. "However we have rules in the hunting game. Don't use harsh means unless necessary. With the pups, you're suppose to have more gentler means, plus for females, no being harsh period."

BArtu decided not to burst out in the sense that Serenity was in fact not very involved with humans and knowing their different pregnants occurrences. He placed his palm on his cheek, slightly becoming bored. Nervously, his fingers tapped on the temple of his head, grimacing at the discovery of what he did to Allie. He sighed. "President Kratos, I only acted viciously as that human kept tossing insults at me, I warned her twice to not run, but she did anyway. Clearly, she's blunt after dunking her, I don't mess around, she was oblivious to recall." His eyes rolled.
