Kratos
Zephram walks into the throne room and greeted Kratos. "Greetings, Kratos. It's come to my attention that we have a special needs human who will be 18 years old soon living among the apes in the city. When he turns 18, what is to happen to this fine young man since he has had an education in an ape run school? Will he be given the choice of being let free or becoming an apprentice to an ape family. I fear that any deviance from his 'schedule' or any 'change' will cause him great stress and to revert. And what about the law? It states that all humans are given a choice. He is still childish in many ways and his ape parents came to me for help because they don't want to break the laws."

Maximus was running late because he had run into the said kid.

That day Kratos wasn't in the mood to deal with any more drama and had a few council members deal with certain cases, and arrests. Honestly, he was fried and feared it would be best to have a vacation to himself for a week or two. It's been over a year since he would be able too. Work seemed to increase over the past few months.
Kratos glimpsed down at Zephram, greeting him back in a friendly wave. What was he doing here? Surely there had to be other things he needed to tend to? Like, human cases? Despite his wonder, he listened to Zephram. Repeat, repeat is seemed what the apes do these days. Do they need classes on recalling the laws?
He slightly pouted, lightly sighing. His palm stroked down his face. "Zephram, you're already aware of the laws, why must you pry for an answer when you know it. Regardless of color, race, or even mindset, all of them get the choice. I'm sure you've been in other situations. There's just not one human that's 'special.'"

Zephram shifted his files and put them away. He had to deal with the human without the president's approval. He didn't seem to understand Aaron's mindset. Not many apes did except for the apes that raised special needs humans. He may be smart, but any deviation from his normalcy would throw him into a close-minded individual.
"His mindset is that of a 10 year old boy," Zephram retorted in a snort. "He'd choose his guardians over the wilds or choosing to be an apprentice to an ape family. His mindset will not reflect his age. He will not choose."

By the time Maximus entered the throne room, he noticed that Zephram was packing his files. Already, Kratos wasn't in the mood for human-raised affairs. He heard the last few words about the humans' mindset not really being on par with the remainder of his group. Maximus didn't know whether or not to offer his advice on the matter.
"Zephram? Could I speak to you in your office?" He asked. "It deals with the special needs human you are talking about."

Zephram almost dropped his files of the boy. "Oh sure."

When he returned, Kratos rose a hand to receive his attention. He put down the files. "Now what a minute, Zephram. I don't know what Maximus said, but he wrongly interfered," he informed, peering over to Maximus.
"It's fine if he wants to join, but taking you in the back for ideas and results. No, he has to do together out here. You could go to any council member, but you chose me." He shook his head. "Now, if that human doesn't choose, then the one over him does."

Maximus was surprised. "Actually, I was about to take the human into an apprenticeship myself. He's very observant and we could also use an ape raised human ourselves. Despite any of your objections. An ape raised human knows our laws, our ways, and of course, he spends a long time researching."

Kratos rose a hand, taking a short nod. "My mistake Council member Maximus. I assumed wrongly, and I am sorry." He dropped his hand. "However, why didn't you just discuss it out here?" He curiously questioned him.
His eyes bounced over to Zephram, walking over to him. "I don't want to see any ape-raised human go into the wilds. All that teaching and knowledge, wasted."

"I wasn't entirely sure if I had the patience and ability to take on an apprentice. I decided to see Aaron personally. He was worried about having to be given some kind of choice. He told me that he needed to buy human clothes and a human collar. It was a little funny at the time. But Aaron works at a level that's above his 'peers'." Maximus said. "And I later confided in Zephram to know more about the young man. His disabilities. His interests. And his education. Then after finding out about his history, I was going to tell the council of my decision."

"Zeke said that his ape raised human changed drastically and he was worried because he began to ask to sleep in a cage instead of a bedroom, stop buying him expensive outfits, take all of his belongings to charities, and has noticed that his school allowances were being used in human pet stores." Zephram said. "The young man overreacted to the fact that he would lose all of his belongings and his achievements. Would be sent to live with another family to live. Zeke also said that he found his notes that all humans become pets at the age of 18. Even ape-raised. Zeke tried to tell him that he wouldn't become a pet. But the young man claimed that the books he read were- reality. He believes everything he reads it seems or he believes that his skills wouldn't matter anymore."
