Melanie didn't care and she found her strength was weaker than his. She decided to plant her hands on her face and covered her mouth.

Zaius tapped the edge of the table, shaking his head. "I think there can be a light punishment, or even one. Just because she's not familiar, doesn't mean she gets away with it." Zaius adjusted himself in the chair. "If you don't, what would that teach? It's alright what she did?" As Rowan removed the muzzle, and Melanie once again blurted out at Rowan rudely, Zaius glared over. "You do realize that humans can fake out? Right?" He sighed, banging the table to draw attention from fighting.

Venus watches the snobbish ape once again try to concur with words again. She wasn't really affected by the threat, more like his scowling eyes, just like the one previous. Some reason his had a different, dark appearance, and she's encounter quite the number. She signs with a simple stare. "It was a light sentence when I remained in the prison.' she continues, 'no, I haven't dealt with the true ways.' after, she resumes with Maxwell as the council was occupied. 'pass out over once you receive the chance. " She glances over to ensure no other ape peered over. None. 'when I'm done, I'm going to swiftly stab Kratos's have, forcing him to release the leash, bolt and do not stop.' then that's when they suggested the chip. Yikes, then for sure they'd wouldn't escape. Yes, Melanie was a skilled distraction.

Melanie gave a little cry. Proving that she didn't want a muzzle on her. "Please no." She begged. "I'm not faking anything. Honest." Melanie wasn't really faking. She may have called an ape an idiot, but that was a less insult than cursing them out as egotistical fatheads. She stammered, "I didn't call any one of you egotistical."
She wanted nothing more than to keep her mouth muzzle free. "Please no." She said again. "I'll behave."

Maxwell signed back, because he could understand. 'Melanie doesn't know sign.'
Maxwell's collar dug into his neck again, even as he turned to face the 'action'. This time, he felt pain and some blood oozing from a cut. Oh good! He hoped that the cut was deep. His muzzle prevented him from grunting in pain. He turned back to Venus and signed, 'We'll never get out of here alive. They have sensitive hearing'

Maximus believed the chips would really work as they had a 100 mile radius before they no longer worked. He believed that the humans would learn their lessons after this. He glanced over to Melanie who seemed to be pleading. "Zaius. I don't think she's really faking it. If she's been slapped many times- harshly, it's bound to hurt her mouth and her cheeks would be very sore. She's also afraid. A human who is afraid won't do anything but obey. I don't think a severe sentence is needed for Melanie. So I doubt she would really try anything. Plus, she couldn't get anywhere with a leash. All they would have to do is pick up the leash."
He narrowed his eyes at Venus. He would ensure that she would not escape them. "Maybe a 5 month period of prison and 3 month target practice."

Maxwell heard them speaking as if nothing was going on. His hand flew to his neck and he saw blood on his fingers. And at that moment, he looked disgusted and sick by it. It wasn't even gushing, but the sight of it made him sick..well, he could fake getting sick easily.
Thud.

"There there, human. No ape will harm you..Should just wear the muzzle. If Kratos, Zaius, and Maximus order the muzzle, it has to be put on." He used his hands to pet her head. "Now there's no need for hysterics and crying. It only hurts if you talk." Little did he know the plan that was instigated by Venus or Maxwell. His focus was on trying to calm an upset human. He did know that some new humans to the city carried on like this because they were frightened.
Rowan glanced up to Zaius. "She's just afraid. I'm sure she meant nothing by 'You're an idiot'. At least it wasn't a 'curse'."

With swiftness, Venus swiped the blade from his pocket, and swiftly curled it under her wrist. Once the council hastily tended to Maxwell's false illness. Venus sawed at the leash, hoping this scapel was as sharp as when Maxwell used it. She planned to stab Kratos's hand and toss it as Zaius, freeing the leashes.

Maximus heard a thud and was about to speak...he saw two humans. But the third one was lying on his side, with a trickle of blood. He shook his head. "Shouldn't have put on a metal collar, Kratos."

Kratos bounces his eyes over to Maximus, pleased by his bright suggestion. His finger flicked on the edge of the table, smiling while pondering. "Oh, tracking device?" he repeated in a light mutter. His head bounced, shooting a devious smile over to Maximus, agreeing, "yes, we can have a trustful vet plant one in each. Because I'm sure they can remove the ones on their neck or in bracelets."
He peered down at Rowan trying to dress her mouth by a muzzle. He snickered, very amused that Rowan was failing to place it on. "Oh, oh, oh," he laughed, shaking his head. "Some handler you are," he teased. His head shook at Maximus's suggestion. "I'm aware her face is sore, but she was warned, she failed to obey and now she has the muzzle."
Foolishly, not answering Maximus, and peering over to Venus as she acted on her scheme with Maxwell. Kratos placed his sights on Maxwell. After noting the seeping blood, and Maximus's words. "I don't think Maxwell is faking it, I mean the blood is evidence," he muffled, rubbing the back of his neck. "He won't go anywhere, there's too many of us, besides he seems too ill." He snorted. He strolled over, removing his collar.

Maximus thought about that. He suddenly grasped one of the humans by her collar. He began to take a look around her neck. Removing the collar, he felt around her neck, noticing a place where a bone was. Then he moved up to the head. He found a place that would work. "There's a place above a neck bone that may be suitable for a tracking device. It would be so small that none of them would be able to dig it out or tell where it is."
He put on the muzzle without any problems as Rowan had. "You need more training." He spoke to Rowan. "Don't be afraid to use a show of force to hinder them."

Melanie grunted as she was picked up again. Then she felt his finger feeling around her neck. She was so immobilized that she couldn't move and then the muzzle was put right back on. Again, faced with that horrible contraption. She gave a solid kick to the table leg when she was released, showing that that was the only way she could show any displeasure. It kind of made the table jump a little. Well, she could get angry at them for making her wear something. Fine! She walked towards the other two.

Maxwell was aware of the collar being removed and felt less pain. He managed to not act too- aware so he waited for the right moment to spring into action. All three of them had a muzzle on so it wouldn't be a no brainer. They were all humans. Then he thought briefly. If humans lost their ability to speak, they would be mindless beasts for sure. Speech was a sign of intelligence and the Overlords wanted humans who couldn't speak a single word.

Rowan chuckled lightly. "I have some things to learn about dealing with humans. I've never really had a human be so- headstrong- not counting the wild spitfire who wouldn't let me do anything nor would she let a vet in to her cage. But I noticed that when she was out of her cage, she was mellow. There is a chance she was cage aggressive."
