Purchasing Pet Supplies For Himself (Open)

Aaron was listening, but didn't really interrupt the two of them talk. He wasn't anxious to meet and talk to them as if they were like regular every day apes. He hoped he'd meet Kratos and he'd be impressed with how much he had done. He paused in his thinking. The only time he would ever meet him is if he ever did anything wrong.

He found himself raising a finger, as a question flooded his mind. What new law? Not many citizens heard of this new law. Not even he. "What's the new law? I hope it doesn't deal with- ape-raised humans like me."

"We could start today or the next day." Maximus answered, not really disclosing the new law with Aaron. He shouldn't have to worry about this new law. Actually, he was still against pulling any human child, despite their age, away from their guardians or parents.

He glanced to Aaron.

Aaron wasn't really reacting to Zaius' intimidation. "I see no- reason why I can't start today or tomorrow. I'm free." He assured them. "I like learning."

Maximus seemed to think about it. "I have some things to do before I take him." Then he smiled to Aaron. "Who would he live with?"

Aaron was surprised. "Wait. Does that mean I have to move into your manors or do I get to stay with Zeke in the meantime?" His guardian would probably miss him, but he was always busy at the vet's office.

He looked a little nervous because some times, everyone does get nervous.

"We could take turns." Maximus said, thinking of which room he would use. "I see that it's easier this way. Now, who would take him first?"

Aaron was silent as he knew when two apes were talking, he shouldn't interrupt their decision making. He could make the choice, but they both needed to come to an agreement. He most certainly wasn't a mindless animal. Well, he hoped not anyway.

As he listened to them. He waited patiently for their decisions. Who would he be living with? And what about his belongings? He clearly had some.

Maximus knew his schedule would allow a few hours devoted to Aaron. "I'm free for a few hours."

He wondered if Zaius wanted to be first? "Or do you want to take him regardless of your long meeting?" He said. "But shouldn't we also prepare a room for his stay?"

Aaron finally spoke, "I could prepare my own room as I have some things I really like in Zeke's house. He gave them to me when I was little and kept them ever since. I could go along and pick them up. Along with some of my clothes." He offered helpfully.

Maximus thought for a moment. "You know the hero human and the Swedish queen. The transportation CEO Titus? Titus is requesting a meeting to discuss what went on with the Swift-twist trains." He spoke. "In a few hours."

Aaron heard about the hero human and the Swedish Queen. Being watched, but not being included into the conversation irked him a little. He didn't like it when he was ignored. Well, maybe he thought he was being ignored. He stepped a little closer and then 'smack'. Zaius' hand smacked into his head. He stepped away, rubbing his head, and even as shaking his head to clear it.

Maximus heard the thud and saw Aaron stepping away, and shaking his head. "You alright, Aaron?"

"Yes." He said, rubbing his head.

"I may allow him to witness the meeting. Wait...You haven't heard? The deaf human saved countless apes and pet humans from a disaster about to happen. The human's a hero that should be commended despite all the 'hostility'. Plus, I'd like to know why she saved all the apes lives."

Aaron was not willing to get a lecture or a show of force. "I'm sorry. I'm a klutz at times." He was now worried that he'd lose his proposed apprenticeship. No one wanted a klutz and his negativity was getting the best of him...Why would anyone want him as an apprentice? He didn't want to disappoint them or interrupt the both of them. A human saving the lives of others is a good thing. "I think it's a good thing that the deaf human saved a lot of lives." He said, knowing that he'd be ignored like usual, as his voice really didn't have any bearing of any type. "If she wasn't there, it'd be a sad day in Central City." He rubbed the back of his neck. "And the CEO would be facing lawsuits and putting him out of business."

Maximus was about to comment when Aaron interrupted his two bits. Yet, the apprentice was right. "Don't interrupt..."

"I thought you were done talking so I talked."

Maximus would have to ensure he didn't do that in the council room. "Not really." He said, "It's your choice whether you wish to come to this meeting. It talks about the child pet trade. Zephram is getting an over abundance of callers and protesters. Human rights activists are marching around his office, calling for all the human children to be returned to the orphanages and not the cages."

"Wait? Teaching?"
