Maximus wasn't surprised about not really believing that a human would actually save apes and humans together. "Well, it happened to be the deaf human, Elisabeth, Nikita's human. She may be deaf, but she must have a very good sense of smell that's better than apes." Maximus didn't think Kratos would really enjoy a heroic human and her brave act. "If that's your wish, you don't have to attend the meeting."
Aaron was a little discouraged because he didn't know when he had a chance to talk and there didn't seem to be an opening between the two. His mouth was covered to stop him from talking. He had never been told not to talk before. Well, that was just fantastic. Finally, his mouth was uncovered.
Maximus, however, didn't know that the new law was influenced by him. "Now why would you approve of pre-teens being ripped from their parents? They're not even ready to leave their parents."
Aaron wasn't speaking or sharing his own opinion...as if he wasn't existing and wondered what would happen if he went to Maximus' meeting. What if he had some views too? Or something? He decided to head to a bench...Loitering in front of a store is wrong but he decided to go sit down at a bench...they were too busy talking to notice he had left.

Hmm, seems Maximus was really into it. Does he really believe it, and not some ape that did it with a hoax? Zaus still wouldn't believe it, not even for real evidence. Instead of causing a ruckus with Maximus, even forming an argument. He simply bobs his head. "Mmm, I plan not to. Besides if you don't want Aaron to go, I can watch." he places a suggestion to find a reason not to attend. He shakes his head, chuckling. "Are you seriously defending the human's side? Pah, you're a weird one," he snorts. "I implied for better control, even production in the cages." He shared one of the reasons. "Parents are always separated from their chuckled. So, it's not really a difference." Nope, they had not noticed him departing.

Maximus couldn't persuade Zaius about anything. It seemed he was so 'set' in his ways that he wasn't seeing the problems already. "They ripping younger children than 13 from their parents. And 13 to 16 still requires their parents' guidance." He finally admits. "Without their guidance, the 13 year old would seek no other alternative...As for production in the cages? It won't happen." He was in the negative. "When all the wild children are all dead and gone, then the cages will seek out our own ape-raised children to fill the need of stocking those cages with children because the child pet trade will become bigger than the adult pet trade." Now his concern was out in the open. "The adults will be staying the cages because no one will want them as pets. It's going to fail."
Then, "You can take him if you want, first."
Aaron was sitting on the bench, seeing that they were totally ignoring him...and weren't even aware of his disappearance. Since they didn't seem to notice, he could probably hang up side down from a bar and throw cherry seeds at them and they wouldn't even know. He really thought that. They were so distracted that they haven't noticed. Aaron watched, but did not approach them. He leaned back on the bench, waiting with the air of patience.
