Kratos
"You have the wrong human!" Aaron exclaimed as three young hunters brought him into the throne room. "I'm not this fugitive that's been flashing on that digital sign." He was brought in with irons and cuffs. He even looked like he had been beaten at one point on retrieval.
"Council Member Kratos. We found this human outside the library...is he the fugitive you're looking for?" One of the young apes asked. "He put up a great fight and we gave him a little punishment for his fight." The first hunter said.
"Could you please stop this? I've lived in the city since I was a child. I did no wrong-doing."
"And he looks like that human too. Look at his hair." The second hunter pointed out. "They both look the same."
"I was alone and am allowed. My guardian usually drops me off at the library. He trusts me to behave and he can vouch for me." Aaron was admitting, trying to be helpful in to why he was there. "I have my tags, too."

Kratos was occupied with a few other matters until the main double doors were ruthlessly shoved open. The golden curled handles bashed into the buff gorillas on the inside, instead of the pristine wall laced with geometric designs. That day he wasn't expect any company, or even fugitives. However, each day surprised him.
His hand swayed near the chair, signaling to the ones he was talking to draw away. Of course the two listened and walked off. Kratos sighs. It wasn't the first time they brought in the fugitive, or so they thought. His eyes intently scrutinized Aaron. He really had the similar resemblance.
Quickly his hand flew towards himself. "Yes, yes bring him over," he gently commanded. He leaned closer, grasping the chin of Aaron, piercing his gaze into his eyes. "Tags? Since when did you apprentices have tags?" he snorts, tossing him backwards. "Explain how you're not Maxwell, if you look alike, strongly?"

Aaron found himself tossed backwards and lands on his back. "Omph. Well, maybe not tags. I just have proof I'm an apprentice. I've been living in Central City for years. My guardian is Zeke." He said to Kratos. "I'm even tagged with a microchip. My guardian wanted it in case I got lost in the city when I was younger."
"Besides, why would an apprentice seek trouble in the first place? I was going to the library to read."

He loudly snorts at Aaron's question. "Whether your kind is ape-raised or pets. One is bound to cause trouble. Just look what happened about a month ago!" He flung his hands skywards, rolling his eyes.
"Mmm, Zeke? Why would he raise humans? He's too occupied in his job like any other vet." His head shook, lowering his hands placing them on the arm of the throne. "Do you have any proof right at this moment? I'm not going to drag Zeke from his daily work. However I can get someone to scan your chip. If you are ape-raised, can you get it removed? I mean you're an adult."

"But that wasn't me," Aaron slowly stood up, smoothing his clothing of imaginary wrinkles. "I've been too busy to cause any trouble and I don't look for trouble. I obey the patrols, guards, and other apes. Why would I have a motive to cause any trouble?" He bit his lip. The way he spoke was that of an equal ape. The human didn't know any other way to act except as an ape-raised human. His guardian treated him as an ape.
"I guess it could be removed." He finally spoke of his chip. "I haven't really thought of having it removed." Then: "Wouldn't that create more trouble with the guards and patrols to find an uncollared or unregistered human?" His question was innocent enough. "I'd rather not break any laws." He admitted.
"I have proof- but they took away my messenger bag and - said I wouldn't need it anymore after my sentence."

Kratos rubbed his head, very amused as the innocent human was pleading and desperately trying to defend his truth. Kratos at that moment didn't care for him protesting. As long as the human resembled the fugitive, then he's placed as one.
Am irritated snicker, shaking his head. "Oh, dearie dear." he sighs, "you humans are so interesting. Of course you would say otherwise. Being rebellious and defensive is your nature." He finally rose, taking a few steps down, coming closer. "Your chip is fine too be removed, however you still contain a chip that's deeper having your identity. The wee ones get it at a certain age."
He stepped a few paces back. "If you say you are, then contact your guardian."

Aaron thought this was a great opportunity to agree that he should contact his guardian even if it meant - interrupting his job and then enduring a lecture of contacting him if it were an emergency. Well, wouldn't this be considered an emergency. He looked down and reached into his pocket. At least they weren't dense to leave his little device to call Zeke. When he dialed, all he got his automatic messaging system.
Aaron couldn't reach his guardian. "He's not answering and it goes straight to voice-mail," Now he believed that it wouldn't matter whether or not he was a fugitive or not. "I should try the vet's office instead of his device." He spoke as he tried and left a message with the receptionist who seemed kind enough to take a message. "I left a message with a receptionist." He answered, glancing up at him.

With each failed attempt, Kratos darkly smiled, sending his arms around his back, intimidatingly coming closer. Perhaps this humans wasn't the fugitive, but ape-raised as he claims to be. Though, his familiar looks didn't help him to prove he wasn't.
By the time Aaron left a message, Kratos was right behind him, and Aaron's glance met a huskily ape with cuffs dangling. Slowly, Kratos's lips descended close to his ear. "You failed to prove your identity, so-claimed Aaron," he snorts, drawing back. His arm swayed Aaron's direction. "You have one more chance to prove. So I suggest you ponder hard. I'll give you ten minutes."
He continues to walk off, hiking up the few steps. "Or else I'll have that patrol take you either to prison, or the cells below the palace," he warns.

Aaron's eye missed nothing, but noticing that Kratos was trying to intimidate him. Why? He didn't understand or know why he would intimidate him. He would be tried as a criminal if he couldn't prove his own identity. There was nothing that he could prove since he was brought in without any proof.
"I don't know of any other 'ape-raised' humans." He said, in a low voice. "I spend a majority of my time at the Central City Library reading books and learning. Zeke doesn't mind if I occupy my time learning." Aaron found himself turning around, seeing some husky ape having cuffs dangling in front of him. And Kratos was behind him, whispering that he'd given no proof of himself. Well, he did try to call Zeke and the receptionist said that he was busy. There wasn't anything he could do about that.
And then they'd put him into prison or the cells in the palace. It would be worse for him and he'd never see Zeke again nor his own friends. Aaron was pretty much at a loss of what to say. He already told Kratos who he was. Then he thought of his new apprenticeship with Maximus. He shook his head. He'd lose it that supportive council member. If they didn't want to believe him, why should they believe him now? They believed that they had their fugitive-so it wouldn't matter.
He grew frustrated. It was so easy to get frustrated and he would have dropped his device in frustration- almost like a child would-but he couldn't let that happen. What if Zeke called and he missed it? He would miss his call anyway. It would be confiscated.
He was still frustrated. "Because I've never been outside of the city even as a child. I couldn't leave the familiarity of Zeke's house because it was too-" He paused. "It was too stressful and I don't tolerate changes to my daily routines. Nor do I really like to interrupt a surgical procedure Zeke may be doing on another human pet." He sighed, knowing that this wouldn't really prove who he was anyway. What was the point? He thought. Then he voiced, "What's the point? It's not like you believe me anyway."

Kratos elevated his chest high, cupping his massive hands behind his own back, listening to Aaron's pleading, and useless information. However, one thing did catch his hearing as Aaron continued to speak. His foot took one step down, glancing down at Aaron. Before he would actually confront him, he'd allow him to finish. Which took quite a bit of time, longer than ten minutes.
"Seems like you're at a loss, human. Failing to prove your innocence, or even convince me that you're Aaron." He hiked another step-down. "And, Zeke is the only person you can get ahold of? Because, ape-raised humans, if they had been around enough would gather close ape friends," he states out of common facts. He swayed his hand. "Arrest him. I'm tired of this foolishness."
It didn't take any more than ten seconds for Aaron to be bound behind his back. Kratos's patrols were trained with cunning swiftness. Only one ape was holding his place by his bound wrists.
"I'll give you one more, human," he kindly offers in an icy tone, revealing he wasn't as kind anymore. "use your library identity, if possible." He suggests, 'or anything else you can."

The phone fell to the floor as he was hand-cuffed. He wasn't going to get out any time soon. "Not if they have their own jobs." He said. "They're busy with their continuing education or careers. I have a library card. It's in my back pocket. The only problem is? I can't reach it." He believed his library card wouldn't hold true and no ape would believe him regardless of proof or of his guardian.
He was showing signs of discomfort at being touched. "Don't touch me! I can't stand any one touching me or grabbing me." Now he was showing more signs of 'childish behavior'. And it was also a warning of things were about to get 'tense'. "Take these stupid cuffs off me!"
A few vital seconds later, the device rang a ringtone that Aaron had actually was smart enough to program for each call he had ever received. It was his guardian calling his device. Aaron stared at the cell phone. There was also a tell tale sign of Zeke's picture on the window. He hoped his voice commands worked because he did set it up. "Answer and loudspeaker."
Moments later, Zeke's voice came through the loudspeaker on the phone.
