NAME: Kramer AGE: 13 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lap Dog, Companion Dog, Sheep Dog PREVIOUS FUNCTION: N/A SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES: Small (Only 4’6”), Young, Ape-Raised, Adorable
He was in a cage. A dang cage! One with a lot of confused kids - including him, which weren’t sure exactly what was going on.
They’d told him it’d be a great honor - but most of this time Kramer had spent crying. At least until he finally had cried himself out and was now just trying to keep his head down.
What they didn’t see they couldn’t buy right? Maybe if he kept his head down long enough this whole thing would pass and they’d let him out of this glass enclosure. Yeah, he figured, that made perfect sense to him, at least. But for now he’d wait.
“This bites worse than my last foster home and that’s saying something,” he grumbled quietly with a fair bit of annoyance. “Joke’s over, I’d like out now it stinks in here.” He added rather frustrated.

"Awww. Will you look at this?" A cheery female voice spoke. "That one is so cute despite being a human puppy. Here puppy! Look up here, puppy."
Rowan walked over, seemingly interested in learning about these children. He had worked with the females since they did rotations now. "Hmm. He's a scrawny little thing, Mother." Rowan wasn't surprised because his sister wasn't that scrawny. She was healthy, happy, and was a doll herself. She didn't cause any trouble whatsoever. The apes that seen her fawned over her and enjoyed her company. But now, his Mother was here with him, looking at the children. She had a soft spot.
Rowan knew he had the keys to every cage in the place and he didn't need any permission to open them. He was off duty. But his firm, but gentle gaze landed on the scrawny kid. "I think he looks great in that onesie, don't you think?"
"Oh yes. He looks cute. We can take him home, bathe him up, and give him a new onesie of yellow. No wait. Pink."
"Mom. He's a boy. Maybe pale yellow instead."
"Oh. I'm sorry, Rowan. Maybe a pale yellow with flowers. I love daisies."
Apparently, his Mom was hinting a girl and not a scrawny boy.
"Mom, there's only boys here for now."
"No worries, Rowan dear. I'll take him." She answered.
Rowan glanced over and opened the door to the cage. He walked into the cage and hefted the human by the collar. "Well, you sure are scrawny and small enough to fit in our family." He held his hand out of the way should the human bite.

Kramer nearly pissed himself.
Gorilla’s why did it have to be gorilla’s! He used to be a gorilla dammit. And the way they were talking about him? That was literally infuriating. He didn’t want to be dressed up in a yellow onesie with daisies! Ugh.
Oh god, the cage was opening. He quickly got to his feet to make a run for it. But didn’t even make it a foot before he’d been hauled off the ground. “Let me go! I’m not going!” He snapped rather frustrated. “Did you just hear you’re mom? She wants a girl! She can wait for one!” He added with a tinge of fear. “Please just let me go!”
Even though he knew that fighting against a gorilla was pretty useless he squirmed in Rowan’s hold. Hoping for an inch in which he could escape through.

Rowan was amused and he smirked. "Oh down? You want down?" He flipped him upside down by one of his legs. "You mean to tell me you would rather dangle upside down?" He was cold. His Mom didn't think anything of his 'actions'. If one pushed him, he'd be dark and scary in no time. "I would be a good human puppy and do as you're told." He warned. "If you proceed like this, you won't like me at all." Rowan also warned.
He took him out of the cage and dangled him by his leg. He peered sharply into the puppy's eyes. "Behave." He treated him like every other human that came through the cages. "She can adopt as many human puppies as she wants."
"Ohh...Look at his little face! Aren't you cute? Maybe a onesie with little vehicles as the pattern." She was eager to start on his clothes.

He let out a startled scream.
After a long moment he was made to look in Rowan’s eyes and honestly he already had gotten the point by then. He shook a little, trying his best to relax but finally nodded his head a little. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Just can I get down please, sir?” He asked as softly as a church mouse.
He knew how to spaak to a gorilla after all.
The onesies again, he shuddered a little. He didn’t want to do this at all but what choice did he have? “I suppose as long as they’re comfortable,” he managed. “Did you want to know my name? It’s Kramer.”

Rowan smirked and placed him down on his feet. But kept his hand on his shirt. Which was that silly onesie. His mother glanced around also. "Oh, can we get another child puppy? I hear a yelling one over there?"
Rowan shook his head. "I think the law states one. That one may require a little more convincing, Mom." He looked for another handler. He picked up Kramer and walked to the handler's table. He rapped on it. "I'm buying this puppy. I'll pay 300 for him." He was so lightweight.
"He needs a brother." His mother said. "I think the one yelling should also go home with us."
"We shall see."
Another handler walked up to his table and smiled. "Ah. Rowan. I see you got yourself one of the puppies. I think it's the best profitable trade yet." He believed.
"Three hundred." Rowan said, offering.
"I can throw in a collar and a leash so you don't have to carry him all around."
"He'd get lost and I could use the collar and handle him myself." He glanced down to the human. "He will learn."
His Mom had wandered to the cage of the yelling puppy. She was looking and then walked away.

Kramer looked over his shoulder at the ape woman as she walked away.
It was a little intimidating to think about all of this. He didn’t want any of this honestly, he didn’t want to wear a collar or leash. Or a onesie. And he sure as hell didn’t want to be some little pet to the gorilla’s. But Rowan had shown dominance. He had made him realize that he had no choice and he had to submit to him as alpha.
After a moment, he did speak up not bringing up the collar or leash though. “I’m gonna make an educated guess in that this was more a purchase for you than her,” he commented. “You did your research and she can’t seem to decide what she wants.”
He shifted a bit in his arms to rest his head on Rowan’s shoulder a little worn out. “I’m sorry I fought. I’m just a little scared,” he explained. “I just don’t get what’s going on...”

Rowan was aware of his Mom walking away to look around. He shrugged his shoulders as he could care less. But then again, he had to break it to him. "You'll be watched by her when I'm not around. Don't think for a second that you'll be able to 'talk her out of it'." He warned as he heard him talk.
Papers were brought out for him to sign, in which he did.. It secured his sale and he took them and rolled them up. He placed them into a satchel. Then he took the collar and affixed it to his nape. He walked towards his Mom. "We got our new human puppy. Maybe we can pick this one up later." He suggested to his Mom.
"Oh dear. What about, uh, Dr Zaius? He may like this one." She suggested helpfully.

Ugh.
He had a feeling that he wasn’t going to like that at all. But at the same time he wasn’t going to like any of this. He decided to ask another question before this was over and they went back to her. “Do I really have to wear onesies?” He asked. “It’s gonna be hard enough letting you put me in your lap. I’m going to have to do that right?” He asked.
He groaned a little as he got the collar. It was itchy and annoying but he went silent then since he was being carried back over to his master’s mom. Which he got the feeling he should start getting used to being his mistress ugh.
He only offered one comment. “Why are you all so obsessed with puppies anyway? Why are we any different from adults?” He asked. Though he had a feeling being small and their cuteness were two reasons.

"No." Rowan said, shifting him around. "Those are suitable for younger children like 3-5 years old." Unffortunately for Kramer, it was "Yes. You'll get to sit in our laps." He had tapped into his dark side a little. "It would be best not to fight it."
Rowan and his Mom walked out of the cages. Glad to be out of there. Several apes noticed and many of them were taking photos and sending it a social site they visited. Rowan couldn't believe that he would be viewed by the public as being one of 'them'.
They walked away from the crowd, heading to a public transport bus. "Now be a good boy on this bus. Maybe I'll give you a treat." They would wait to name him when they got home. He sat him on his lap, to see what he would do.

“Thank god,” Kramer murmured a bit. “These are the most unflattering clothes ever honestly.”
He decided not to say anything about the lap. God knew he was better off not arguing that fact. It was when the bus showed up that he got more nervous than he might have liked. “Really in front of all of the...”
Kramer was answered as he was sat right done on the lap. This was more than a little frustrating. And he quietly looked over the side of his legs for how far down a crawl was, fidgeting a little more. “You’re wasting no time.” He grumbled quietly.

Rowan smirked and patted his head.
His Mom was watching the scenery.
He found himself, petting his head, getting looks as the human was squirming- fidgeting. He held onto him gently, but firm. He chuckled as he pulled him closer to his body to whisper. "Do you want to sit in the pet's compartment instead?"

He had a feeling he didn’t even want to know what that was.
Being petted though? Humiliating. Especially when he was pulled close like that. He tried not to fight it too much. But it still took him a few minutes to calm down and know that the ape wasn’t going to hurt him. If just reminded him too much of...
After a moment he decided to be honest.
“My dad when I had one would sit me on his lap when I was a kid so he could beat me easier,” he then added. “He held me so I couldn’t fight or squirm. I’m just scared. He was a gorilla too, ok?”

Rowan wondered if he should show him. "Well, I guess we could take a trip there and you can see for yourself." There was a compartment dedicated to pets, if their owners were too busy and it had it's own seats and refreshments. However, not knowing what his history was, he was chilled to the bone when he heard what his alpha did to him. "Your 'alpha' beat you?" He asked. "Well, I hope he's not around because a gorilla that beats any child, ape or human, is a cowardly fool."
Rowan wasn't going to really hurt him anyway. He was just trying to keep him safe.

Kramer was about to say yes when he spoke up.
It was a little surprising to hear that. Especially from the gorilla who now had made him his pet. And honestly? It made him relax a bit more. Maybe the ape wasn’t as bad or scary as he first appeared to him. “He’s in jail. Thankfully,” he explained. “Back there you scared me. Thought it’d be the same - but worse now that I don’t have actual rights. I know bearings as probably animal cruelty but I don’t know how well they’ll actually enforce it.”
He then added. “You have a fluffier exterior though.” He explained. “And you’re a lot more comfortable.”
