NAME: Bailey AGE: 13 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lap dog/ Companion. PREVIOUS FUNCTION: N/A SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES: Tall. Girl on the right. Bailey was taken to the nearest cage and to her frightened eyes, she saw a number of crying children here. She was adding to the crying as well even as she was practically dragged through the aisle. The cage she was pushed into shut and latched. Standing in the middle of the cage, she rubbed her eyes. Just like the other children, she sat in the middle, drawing her legs up to her chest.
Bailey wanted her Mom and Dad. She was afraid and wasn't really sure what these apes wanted from her. Not only was she frightened, she also barely even saw her parents. They were taken somewhere else.
Then she saw apes coming in and she backed up into the cage wall. They were looking at her- seemingly, the only girl in the cages. Her legs drawn up to her chest once again, looking at whoever was there. She seemed not to be able to stop crying and it was making her exhausted and her eyes were getting red. She didn't want to be there.

Norrix was finally on a rare break from his occupation and his 'guests' at his jungle home that was secluded. A small sanctuary he goes to relax and enjoy himself. He has his own home in the city, but really wasn't a city ape, nope, he enjoyed the outdoors immensely. That's why he had fun capturing wild horses.
Bella had finally convinced him to visit the cages and look around to see if he any had intrigued him. He believes he had no time for any pet, not even a fish. He did have his personal horse. Maybe he could buy a working human to be with the horses. That idea crossed his mind, influencing him to go.
He crossed many paths until the adult 'dog' were wee ones in cages. He pauses, observing with puzzled eyes. "What?" he muffles, astonished at the bizarre sight. When were the rules changed?" Eventually, as he ponders the recent change that puzzled him, a small petrified girl caught his attention.
He strolls over to her, placing his hands on the bars. He wasn't sure what to say. He was stiffer than being warm and cuddly.

Bailey was peeking above her legs now, but the tears were still falling from her eyes. They were red, puffy, and itchy from crying. She saw an ape, standing there, with his hands on the cage bars. She swallowed thickly, not sure what he wanted. She just wanted to go home and be with her parents. Her voice even sounded hoarse and thick, "I want my Mom and Dad."
She heard other footsteps coming closer and started to believe that they were going to take her to her parents, despite the ape standing there looking at her.
A handler that was well known shook his head. "They started to bring in the young ones in due to a new law. I don't know why this new law was implemented. This one is named Bailey. She just arrived a short while ago. The young ones are always crying. Pining for their ape guardians. This was was reared by humans from a village the hunters took."

((haha, I said older ones. XD))
Norrix never had a child, didn't even have the experience to be around one. So, a human child in his home? That would be intriguing. Perhaps he could view little human children as young foals from horses? They are small and considered small offspring.
Norrix reverses, releasing the bars, then peers down at Rowan. Rowan? He's a handler too? Then again Norrix doesn't even enter the cages, until now. He wasn't even aware of the law, and if it really had any impact. Maybe through this wee one, he just might understand why so many are against. Was it like a foal losing its parents?
"New law? Is it the one that's really ticking off that Human Affairs chimp? Not to mention a few other parties throughout the city?" he questions, being freshly new to the entire change. His finger flicked a few times. "If so, I'll need to invest deeper into it," he mumbles to himself.
He wasn't as innocent, he's conducted large raids, even approved of some from his lower officers. Sadly, even was very ruthless to the ones that were supposed to be Renegade human villages. He's assured that Galen and the few others were aware.
A finger tapped on his chin, furrowing his brows, curious if the recent one was his doing. He has increased raids for the past month. Brushing the idea, Norrix looks at the child, responding heartlessly, "taken from a human village? What's new about that? We do it constantly, Rowan," he reminds.
He stretched his back, locking his wrists together behind his back. "I guess if I start out with a human, I mind as well try young?" he says to himself. His powerful gaze returned to Rowan. "I'll take the wee one. I like the redhead humans. Unquie, different. A color you'd think was dyed," he says.

Rowan nodded as he talked about the director of human affairs. "He's mad and I worry about my sister, who is 16 and a human. She was raised by my Mother when she was a year old. I'm afraid that the patrols and guards will take her."
He peeled his gaze to the crying girl. "She's been crying ever since they brought her in. She hasn't stopped. I think she's pining for her parents. Even hasn't even touched her food or water. She's much too young to be away from Mom and Dad."
"You'll take her?" He soon added. "I'll take 300 for her." He hoped the price wasn't too much and wouldn't make him change his mind.

Bailey hadn't stopped, her eyes were puffy and her nose was running. She hadn't even touched the food or water. She was truly afraid and missed her parents dearly. "I want my Mom and Dad. Please take me to them? I'm not a bad person." She didn't like begging.
She also didn't like the way they were talking about raids and how they did it. Bailey didn't care. She just wanted to go home. "I want to go home!"

Norrix scratches his head, holding otherwise. "Why would the other apes already apprehend ape-raised humans that are above that age? Perhaps Rowan is a mistake? Getting only small fractures of the new law. Norrix didn't believe it, receiving young humans from the Renegade camps and villages.
His head rocked, staring at the petrified little pup, answering, "you really assume that? I bet you're only overhearing the worst of the worst." He was very conscious of where the pups came from. The recent invasions that he ordered to be done. Rarely does he go out and do one himself. Out of curiosity he just might venture out to see how his soldiers were doing it.
He backed a bit, three hundred? That's it? Such a very low amount for a child pup. He furrows his brows, hoping he miscorrected on what he heard. "Uh, Rowan are you sure about that inexpensive price?" he questions to assure of it. He'd expect the pricy adult humans would be less than children.
Again, he shook his head, knowing otherwise. "Depends the age, Rowan, humans consider their children adults by the age of ten. Going out and hunting for the village or tribes, respecting them as children no more. Mostly warriors," he explains, from his encounters. He looks back at the little girl. "But, perhaps her village doesn't? I'm not saying all do it."
He unhooks a hand, then brushes his neck. "I never bought a human, Rowan," he quietly declares. "I might just make it worst for the wee one." He lowers his hand, continuing, "I mean I have some servants that are over there that can handle while I'm away. But you know how busy my high profession is."

Rowan nodded. "You're the General of the Army. I don't see why I can't give a military discount to you." He was doing it respectfully. "I'd also give one to anyone in the Army. You protect us from attacks by the Renegades. Besides, my supervisors wouldn't mind because the Army supplies many humans." He had heard rumors. "I heard rumors that the ape-raised humans are being apprehended in several different districts throughout the city. I haven't really seen any ape-raised children here. We haven't really been visited by Zephram." he admitted.
"The girl is 13 years old, has a unique color of hair, and seems to need a stable environment." He didn't know whether or not Norrix would really want this human female. With her crying, it was so sad. "I really wish she would stop crying. It's so heart-wrenching and she hasn't even ate since she arrived here."
He began to think that maybe Norrix wanted a male. "There's one male. They call him Damien."

Bailey found herself easing on her crying, as it was becoming useless. She rubbed her eyes on her sleeve and sniffled. She was already exhausted from crying so much. She was trying to listen to what they were saying. Selling? Why would anyone want a lanky 13 year old anyway?
She felt that they wouldn't really want her because she was a teenager that was a girl. She just felt extreme sadness.

Norrix didn't want any discount. It effects Rowan's pay, and the income to the district. Then again, this district is already wealthy. He rather pay full price, offer more.
He kindly leans a heavy palm on Rowan's bulky shoulder. "Thank you, for your warm generosity. However," he grimaces, firing his eyes back on Bailey, "I rather pay the full price or more," he moderately declines the value.
That's very true, they do by daily raids and random captures. Norrix tries to keep it a fair number to have the humans not constantly thrown the the deadly armed forces. One of his vital, common readings.
His hand departs, then furrows his brows, slightly angered from not being notified. How dare they. "I'll have to look into it. It's extremely wrong for removing ape-raised humans from their domain. They're considered apes. If this be true, I'll discuss the wrong to the council," he firmly states, scowling, more hidden rage expanded.
Norrix simply eases his gentle anger after he examines the little redhead. He secretly loved the redheads, even the common brown eyes. The mixture of both was his favorite. Rarity with a dip of common.
His head nods back to Rowan. For a moment he had second thoughts as this was a very fresh trying. "Yes," he finally accepts. He peers over to the redhead. Again, adoring the shade. However he was in the process of getting bought.
"I shall provide what she needs. I have feeling she's going to be a handful," he sighs.

Rowan nodded in understanding as he did think Kratos was really putting the human race into extinction. Children were a less than adult. They had this energy, this vibe of life. This youthfulness. "I don't think the other members know of his law." He informed.
"Then she's 800." Hoping that this wasn't considered a discount whatsoever. "Yes. They often are at this age." He went over to the cage and opened the door. He grasped her arm and pulled her out, despite putting up a small fight.

Bailey watched Rowan talk and then open the cage.
She put up a fight and even tried to stomp on his feet which did nothing to his boots. She saw that she was out. Without a second thought, she used the opportunity while they were both distracted, to attempt to bolt. She was not going to leave without her parents! She couldn't even find the door to leave out of.

They don't know the law? And they discuss and judge with cases together? This has to be one shady ape if that was the case. Norrix had made an oath before being the general. He can't talk darkly about the council and disobey. However, he has the right to confront them.
His thick fingers curled into his gloved palm. "If that is so, I shall have to discuss to them, without visible rage," he sighs, hopping his disturbed sights on the young human. "Perhaps I should commence a meeting? Or just join another ape who disagrees. Either there is a mix-up, or what you say is solid." he frowns.
Even if Norrix did glimpse away, his side view and sharp ears could hear her faint feet. Being years in the service brought out his senses and sharpened them. He smirks, easily grasping the young girl into one hand. Very gently, he brought her close to his face.
He amusingly smiles, having this human suppose she could escape. "Where do you think you're going, wee one? I have no intentions of hurting you," he honestly assures, using his other palm to mildly stroke her fiery hair. "redheads are a rare breed of human? Aren't they Rowan?" he questions.
He stops stroking, fished out his wallet and placed the required amount, with a few extra hundreds. "Keep the change, Rowan."
