Noella's energy was zapped. There wasn't any way she was able to fight. Not in her state. She was completely isolated from any human as this strange sickness caused brief moments of fatigue and aches, and fever. It wasn't from Cobra, was it? Was that his way of 'punishing' her for leaving in a train that seemed to be fun.
Noella didn't believe that he'd inject her with a strange sickness, but one could never know. She remembered a sickness that came to humans in the jungle if they had a weak immune system- they'd get sick. Her isolation in her parent's house, prevented it. Then she thought about all those herbal drinks and teas. She drank them all and wasn't sure why.
What would Cobra do to her since she had this? She was sure he would put her out of her misery and a few tears leaked from her closed eyes. The few tears turned into many as she cried into her pillow and her face turned sticky.
Cobra.

Noella had been in isolation room, away from the main labs. After discovering a wicked sickness after being experimented on the third time. The scientists didn't take long to have her sent to a quite quarantine room. Only special apes could enter, including her worse nightmare, Cobra.
It's been days of isolation for Noella. No entertaining items were in her reach to enjoy. She'd been mainly sedated for her time inside the room, likely her having no memory of the past days she was forced in. In the past few hours, she'd be more awake as the sedation wore off.
Cobra walks through two barriers, ensuring the illness had not escaped this far. But, dismally portions of it, while she was here escaped. The labs had been in a deep lockdown, for several weeks. He curls his claws around the bars, staring down at Noella.
"Hey, you awake yet?" He requires, checking a few vitals, then removing a sample of a few things.

Noella heard footsteps and her heart sank. She was purely exhausted from her crying bout into her pillow. She hadn't any memory of what happened because they had her sedated and she woke up from a feverish dream anyway. She swallowed, still hiding her face in her pillow. Well, covering her face with her pillow, muffled all noise. "Yessh."
She didn't see him to know that voice. Well, as long as he wasn't going to 'experiment' on her. She hadn't really known that she was the most weakest human in the labs. Weakest immunity system in the labs. She guess his tests revealed it. Her temperature was still staying the same of 100.9 and 101.02.
Being in complete isolation without any thing to keep herself occupied meant more time resting and sleeping. She peeked out from under the pillow. She saw him taking samples of a few things and didn't know what they were. "I-I'm thirsty."
Well, that was a good sign, wasn't it? Showing thirst was a bad sign. She wouldn't mind something cool to drink.

Cobra sighs, dropping his wrists over the bars that kept Noella from rolling off. He winces, tapping the banister. "Tsk, tsk, still can't drop that deadly fever." His head shook, then drew back. He studies her vitals, they appear fine but that fever. "Even the strongest remedies are not working. Been trying to create new remedies to help!" he angrily flips his hands up, evaded with inaudible grumbles.
He continues to extract a few samples when is temper easily cooled. "Well, if you die from the fever, then I don't have to fight to keep you alive. Could just find and discover more in 'other' tests." He puts the samples on a tray beside him. "Ah, perhaps that is better? Easily place you into sleep to eventually kill. In other words, put you down." he viciously plotted a cold possibility.
His dark eyes gradually vanished when she asks for something. Water? She has it channeling through her. He approaches, probably petrified by now. "Your throat is dry?" he asks, grasping a scanner, then hovered it across her form. "Gah, you're still lingering with that bizarre sickness." He puts it away. "Better try another remedy."
He reads over them. "Better off dead," he grumbles.

Noella thought about giving up. The fever was hard to shake and that bizarre sickness was still riddling her body. But that didn't mean she didn't have the thirst. Her tongue was dry and throat was very dry. She felt he was either teasing her? "Thirsty." It was the same response she had just given him. She opened her mouth, revealing no saliva and or anything to moisten her mouth. Her voice was rough. "Dry."
She didn't want to die, but was trying every which way to fight this sickness. It seemed hard to shake, but she balled her fist. She didn't like the fact that he would inject her with something that would cause her to go to sleep forever and she practically tried to move out of his sample taking. Why was he taking samples?
She didn't mean to become sick. It wasn't her fault. She had been lying in the bed- with bars preventing her from rolling off. She looked away. "Don't want to die." She said. "I'm tryin' to fight." Her eyes studied the wall instead. He wouldn't give her anything for her dry throat or tongue. Why should he even attempt? He didn't give a rat's behind about humans. He just thought they were just fodder! She continued to study the wall. She had been awake for a little while anyway.

Cobra was very aware of the dryness in her throat, even being arid around her mouth. He hadn't administered any water through her mouth, just an I.V.. She's been sedated and under intense meds. He would not foolishly have it poured, as it would of easily choke her.
"Uh," his eyes rotated, annoyed her crackly, desperate tone interrupted his studying, and reading. "I will give you, but you just woke up," he reminds, returning to reading the results. He shakes his head, walking out. He was gone for a bit. She would be alone, but for the operating machinery.
It would be about ten minutes before he had returned. Even if something had mistakenly gone wrong, he had the vitals on his side on a device. He enters through two, solid glass doors. "Alright, let's try this remedy," he muffles. Before she could react or respond, he had already brought the gun to her neck, injected the serum.
After, he steps back, bringing out a scanner to view the results as it processed.

She closed her mouth as he said she'd get something. Oh she hoped so. Anything to relieve the dryness of her throat and mouth. She was surprised. Was it possible that he actually cared a little for her? She didn't want to get her hopes too high. But, she hadn't fought- any of them.
In his absence, was studying the IV and tracing the line from the machine to her arm. She wondered if it were something to drink. What if she were to bite the cord? No. If she did, he'd know something was wrong. Lying there proved to be a better idea and waiting. Maybe he'll return later?
She was fully awake by now and was sitting up, the blanket and sheet pushed off at her feet. She was too hot and the coolness of the room was a better feeling. The cool against her skin felt good. She lay down and saw that she wore a gown of some kind. She didn't remember wearing it. Well, guess a gown was better than a shirt and pant that would probably be contaminated.
Then she saw him re-enter with a gun. Her eyes got wide at the sight of it. Saying something about a remedy, she didn't feel anything but a slight pinch as he injected her with it. She was puzzled and didn't really make a comment about what it was doing for her.
Well, then her 'feverish' state started to go away. But the strange sickness remained.

Cobra watches as the injection caused her to wince. Sadistically he smirks, enjoying. A little never-ending revenge he darkly enjoys. It was common to have the injection hurt the victims that are was administered to. He tries to imply pain, depending on his mood.
He had noted her change in alertness and acting. As he read, he grasps the blanket and encased her in. "No, no, Noella, I need you to keep that on you." he glares down at her. "Don't do anything unless I say so," he strictly states, darkly he adds a whisper, "anything you might do could end your life."
He draws back. "Looks like we finally have that fever under control," he utters, lightly happy. "Well, this serum can be used in the future on other humans. Thanks for being a guinea pig." he winks.

Noella thought nothing of his smirk. It was like she was used to his sadistic behavior or whatnot. But Noella was alert, but not really strong enough to fight him on anything. Even why glare at her for pushing the covers off her and then putting them back over her. She didn't know why he would even glare at her, but chalked it up to just his personality and how much he despised humans.
Her question died on her lips as to why cover her up. She wasn't really moving around that much nor refusing any of his remedies. A guinea pig? Was he making her sick and nothing really worked to cure it because he kept making her sick? She didn't know. And didn't inquire on it.
She shifted back into a sitting position and pushed the blankets down to her lap. She really hoped he wouldn't push her down and or even scold her for sitting up. She was tired of laying down anyway. Tired of being encased and 'sweating it out'. She looked over to him and shrugged...because she didn't know what a guinea pig was.

Once again, Cobra glares at her disobedience. Even young sickened humans retaliate? Is it embedded in their genes? A thirst to fight, and not listen? Well, whatever it was, it was a nuisance.
Cobra deeply signs, more annoyed than before. He places his arm over the bars. He scowls. "You don't enjoy listening, do you?" His head shook. His other hand shoved her back down. "You need to stop this Noella. Listen to me or I'll put you out." He threatens, adjusting his hair.
He draws back. "I'll get you some ice, but quit fighting me, " he snarls. "Now, what do you feel besides your dry throat?" He commonly asks. "Headache, nauseous, aches? Anything really."

Noella saw his arm hanging over the bars and then was shoved back down onto her bed. She lay there, looking and listening to him about listening to him. She wasn't trying to piss him off again. It seemed he was always angry with her.
Ice? That sounded much better. But snarling, didn't really sound good to her. She shook her head. Why would she be feeling any of those symptoms. She felt less warm and cooler. So- she took the blanket and pulled it closer to her neck. Well, now she was no longer hot. Now she felt less feverish.
Maybe she could sneak a shifting around while he wasn't watching every move she made.

Cobra sighs, shaking his head. Well, if she was not going to answer for him. He might need to get rough and do it himself. He tried the easy, gentle way, but she refused. Nothing he hates more than uncooperative experiments or failing them. He was trying to remain normal, but light annoyance surfaced.
'Alright Noella, I'm trying to do something here, but you refuse to answer. Is it so hard to answer? I mean.." he sighs intently, trying to maintain his emotions. "So, now I have to do it the hard way," he informs, walking to another section of the cool room.
Minutes later he returns with a device shaped like a halo, with needles that protrude out. Without another second, he places it around her forehead. Cobra activated it. Miniature needs pierced into her mind, attempting to read her feelings. Either pain somewhere, other than what it was causing. Using never to find out.

Noella had answered with a shake of her head and when she saw him walking to another end of the cool room. She had! He wasn't paying attention to shaking her head or answering in the non-verbal.
Then her vitals skyrocketed dangerously high. She didn't know what that halo was. Her eyes widened with fear. She shifted, trying to get away from the halo. It had needles and she didn't like that. She shook her head as she didn't want that contraption around her head.
She screamed as she felt pain from the deepest recesses of her mind. He was going to force her to have all those symptoms now. But the pain that she felt became too much and she couldn't focus except on the pain from the halo. She didn't even know what he was reading- nor did she want him to know her personal details about her life. But it seemed the halo picked up on a memory she had tried to forget. She saw a faint image of her twin, being on the wall. It shimmered but nonetheless, there was nothing of the like of his question. There had been no headache or pain...until the halo dug it out of her.
Noella found herself losing more strength and she began to perspire profusely.

Cobra could of possibly of not noted her quick shake. Perhaps he was too occupied, but he's very vigilant. Even if he did note her answer in shaking her head. Cobra would have done the halo device anyway because she did not answer specifically what he desired to hear, detailed feelings.
He read her piercing-high results. Knowing which ones were added, from her fears, he adjusted her conditions though parts of her mind. Foring the new, dangerous level vitals down to normal. Just like she stated, there were no symptoms. Of course, there wasn't. He growls at the waste of time. He removes the device from her head.
"Answer next time, or I'll view you as a number after tagging your ear," he threatens to place the device down. He storms out of the room, going out to receive her ice chips just as he promised.

Noella's couldn't believe that he actually tortured her with that device, even as well as being downright cruel and very mean. She didn't have any symptoms from the remedy he administered to lower her fever. When he stormed out of her room, she took a deep shaky breath. She didn't know of what tag- and that she was no number, whatever that meant. She'd try to answer right next time.
Her whole body was shaking from the 'exertion' and already being in a weakened condition. She wasn't even sure if she were thirsty anymore or not. She was actually soaked to the bone from sweat. Her head was sore from whatever the halo had. It wasn't a headache. She hoped she didn't have the halo again. She moved off the pillow and burying herself under her blankets, and laying in the middle of the bed. She could tell the IV was- no longer in her arm- she had accidentally pulled it out when she was 'helmet shocked'? 'Halo shocked'. Whatever it was. She could only guess that he'd be peeved off when he discovered her taking refuge in her blankets.
Then she recalled the picture of - her twin. She clenched her eyes closed as she thought about her twin. She found herself crying in earnest because he usually was on her mind. Worse since she found out that he was sick. Close bond. She was crying into her arm.
