An alarm alerted his own hip, snapped to his head. His head drops, growling to himself, even implying a few words. "Gah, why even keep 88-Noella alive? Basically, have the cure, what's the use now?" he questions himself, gathering ice in a pint-sized cup. He plucks out the larger pieces. He wasn't sure how she'd handle the bigger ones.
He casually walks through the two separate doors, as it was customarily where he was located. His dark sights shot over to the pouch that was signaling the removal of the IV. It didn't take long for him to fume. He was very detailed on his work, and Noela is messing with it.
The blankets were harshly removed. Wait, wasn't she hot? He grasps her side, placing her back down. "Don't move," he growls, scowling viciously. "You won't like it if you do," he eerily utters. He swaps out different ivs as they could be easily contaminated. Without he noting, he hastily injected the iV back.
He grabs the cup on the tray beside him, not withdrawing his eyes. "Here," he hovers it to her.

Noella was enjoying the dark confines of her blanket until they were harshly removed. She held her arms over her head, not really wanting that horrid halo planted back on her head. She looked confused as he picked her up by her side again and placed her as before.
Noella looked confused as to why he was mad at her for moving. At least she didn't really escape and didn't know why she couldn't move. Well, it wasn't always a comfortable bed either. She watched him reinsert the IV, even though it stung a little going in, she watched his expression and eyes with her brown ones. He enjoyed pain? What kind of an ape likes pain? Her thoughts were interrupted as he had a cup of ice hovering over her.
She reached up to grasp it. "T-thanks." She grabbed the cup. She most certainly couldn't chew or munch on ice laying down, so she sat up to take one little ice chip. She felt the cool liquid soothing her dry throat and tongue. She was starting to feel a little less dry.
She finished sucking on the ice and held the cup out to him again. "Thanks." Her voice was a little less annoying and scratchy. She didn't believe he would really care for a grateful gesture.
Before he could do anything, she lay back onto the pillow and looked up at the ceiling.

Cobra was a little startled by the simple gratitude Noella expressed to him. WHat? A human, as an experiment revealed grace? Despite what he has done viciously and heartless too? Humans normally cower or shake in fear either by what he has done to them, or the ruthless tales.
However, he kept that strange action to himself, not even revealing any positive emotion to the kind girl. He brought out his tablet. reviewing a few results, even how she's handling now. Well, she's not even choking, or acting sluggish. What did that practice serum do? So far not killing, that's good.
Again with the thanks? What is this little clever beast trying to do? regardless, and as normal he did not react kindly. "Just don't choke. You do, it's back, and only on the IV."

Noella noticed he was surprised by the simple gratitude she showed and she only knew that it was nice to say and give thanks to those who actually - needed something kind. She observed him looking at his tablet and reviewing some kind of readings. The fever was totally gone. But the sickness wasn't and Noella knew that if she did too much all at once, she'd be exhausted.
She quirked a brow when he told her not to choke and what would follow after. She was taking her time to suck on the ice. Her fingers were stuck in the cup, gripping the ice with a finger. She would be careful. "I'll be careful." She promised, as she was still showing gratitude.
As she scooped a piece of ice out, she kept an eye on his reactions and of course, she wasn't demanding anything. Once the cup was empty, she played around with it. There was nothing to keep her occupied and nothing to even watch. Sleep was all she did, eating? She didn't remember eating anything unless they fed her some other way. She wasn't hungry.

As the rustling to the cup became an annoyance to Cobra's ears, he didn't hesitate to grasp it roughly from her brittle fingers. He compressed it into his fist. "Enough," he grumbles, tossing it into the contamination bin. "If you're bored, I can happily give you things to keep you busy. But, please, no annoying noises." he huffs.
He walks out of the room and was gone for a while. It would have been a long forty minutes before he would turn. As he enters. a cold, vicious stare had swelled into his eyes. His gaze only became shadier, once in contacted the innocent human.
Once again, he brought out his gun, placing the fresh, crafted serum within the container. Without another moment, he injected the chemicals. "here, hopefully, this one has more improvements. If not? we can try again tomorrow," he heartlessly informs, stepping back.
He brought out his reader and scanned over the results.

"Oh. I'm sorry." Noella apologized. "Wait. If you give me things, won't I, um, contaminate them with this strange sickness?" She hadn't had any name for it. It wasn't a good thing to contaminate everything she touched. And then he left her alone. So, she couldn't make any annoying noises. She was lucky- for now.
Then he returned about 40 minutes later with a shady look. Of course, she knew something was up- because he had the gun with another serum. How many darned serums was he going to inject her with before she became more immune? She was thinking that none of the serums were being given at least several hours to see. He was apparently in a rush.
Then a drunk feeling over came her. "Whoopie Doo.." She hasn't realized what she did, because she was out of her mind. She sat up and got out of the blankets. She nearly hit her head and grunted. "Oomph..." As she fell back onto the bed..."Oh mannn...This is so cool." She was drunk and it felt wonderful. "Oh I feel so g-hic oooood."

"I'm no fool, Noella, I think I know how to offer you mutts toys. I don't need you to go nuts, even to the point your bite your own flesh." he looks over at the cup. "You dimwitted beasts believe we have no knowledge on what we do with you, but you're wrong."
Cobra was very aware of the happenings to her body. It appeared the one before had worked, but diminished into being unusable. The next one he injected into her contained stronger elements, even remedies that had been used centuries ago. Perhaps he thought this wise either a mutated sickness or one that was occurring once again.
His brow rose, looking back over. Then hastily read over his readings, gently sighing. "Oh, Noella, you shouldn't have this type of reaction. But perhaps I altered it wrong." he shrugs, "oh, well, guess I'll have to try tomorrow, and survey it." he speaks to himself as she was only a subject.

Noella was quietly thinking she was wrong. But she wasn't implying anything but a concern over- contaminating toys. What she didn't want him to do was waste money or anything on her. "I- don't want you to waste - your money on me if I'm to - be put to sleep forever because I think that's what you'd do if nothing worked."
The drugs finally eased off. Maybe she just had a feeling of euphoria...she felt fine now...high...She realized that she had completely disobeyed his orders to lay down and not move. Well, that was the drugs' fault. She wouldn't dream of hitting or biting her flesh. She glanced over to him. "Why -- keep pumping me full of serums and stuff?" She asked, listening to him.
"Wouldn't it- prudent- to- let the serums work? Or are they quick acting." She rested a hand on the bars. Then she thought of something. "Wouldn't it work if it were done in a herbal tea or a drink?" She wanted to be helpful in finding a cure to this sickness. "Maybe it's organ related?" She asked.

Darkening eyes adverted to Noella's cheerful orbs. "Mm, waste money? I highly doubt that, Noella. I've learned quite a bit from you being ill, besides I've got a few working serums." He grips the bar, leaning closer. "You've been a great subject." he draws back.
He turns his head, rolling his eyes, clearly, she was not bright. "Because you're ill and need healing." He sways around, taking a few samples again. "Even if it was failing, I'd allow you to die first, " he cruelly whispers, placing a sample on the device. "Besides, we don't waste anything here, anything." for a moment dark eyes glanced over.
He slides his finger a couple of time, scrutinising the readings. "Because I don't use that shaman junk, " he grumbles, gritting his fangs. "Depends on the serum," he adds.

"Oh no. You misunderstood." She said. "No. On the pet toys, clothes, and other things for me." She was teetering on between whether or not he was going to really keep her alive. Not after his next remark about allowing her to die first even if it were failing. Then the awful thoughts occurred...Why give anything to her if she were only going to be- used for serums and such? It wasn't a good feeling to go to bed by either.
Her organs and everything would be used. It even made her sick to her stomach a little. She tried not to show her discomfort.
"Maybe you should try- to use that shaman junk. Most sicknesses are cured in a matter of days with it."
She moved a little, and without noticing that she was lying on the cord, an alarm went off from the machine. A look of confusion crossed her face...Why was it going off? She traced the line and realized she was lying on it. She eased off it and moved towards him. She stuck her free 'IV' hand out between the bars. "When do I get to have a bath?" She really wanted one. "Maybe change the bed while I'm in the bath? Please oh please? I need a bath."

Cobra shakes his head, gripping the side of the bedrail, smiling coldly. "Oh, no I will, Noella. I need you occupied or you'll do obnoxious things to remain sane." he moves closer, dark eyes staring down. "because you will go insane in this isolation unless you have something. I've seen it multiple times." He reverses. "Sadly they all end up in the ground."
He grew annoyance. Nothing he hated more than people suggestions, let alone telling him. "Noella, I will not. I've been doing these countless years, I'm very positive on my creations. Do it again and I'll sedate you. I don't enjoy that set of tension."
He drops his head, intently sighing. None of his victims was this active, let along talkative. No, they feared him and cowered low, which he enjoys greatly. However, this one appears to reveal no scare. His eyes rolled, putting away the device. Maybe, maybe."

Noella didn't know what obnoxious things he meant as she was still lying there, in a bed with bed-rails. She wasn't up to really much of anything. Keeping her occupied? While she was sick was surely a good thing since she wasn't sedated...Her face fell...as her suggestion of drinking herbal teas would make her feel much better than ice chips. Besides, she liked herbal teas and he seemed not to have any.
"Why didn't you say you don't like herbal teas?" She asked, as innocently as possible. But then again, she hadn't meant to do anything but move to make herself comfortable and lay on the IV tube- by accident. She was fully awake and didn't want to be sedated. She had spent plenty of time sedated and out of it.
She wasn't really meaning to annoy him just because she was talkative and she kept her fear hidden from him. What use would fear be? If she feared him, then he'd feast on it. She thought. The thoughts kept running through her mind as she thought about all of what he said. The things he said were to actually frighten her?
She was always longing to talk to anyone willing to listen. "I wouldn't really try anything." She said. "It's not like I could get far." She added in hopes he would actually believe her.
"And you weren't pleased when I was returned to you." She knew that he would continue to not trust her. She didn't like to admit- that this place was her new home and she had no choice. Then she lay on the pillow, not really sure how to tell him. "I don't have any choices or er.." She had exhausted herself. "just a head scientist who likes to -"
It wasn't long before his serum no longer worked. It gave her the small amount of energy. But then her energy was zapped. She closed her eyes and she fell asleep with her hand still lying on the bedrail.

Noella was correct on trying to escape, but humans were at times were clever. Cobra wasn't going to fool around with her, and if she was able to leave the bed. He's been keeping a strict eye on her, and wasn't about to shake it off. He's dealt with humans that tried to foolishly cross him.
"Noella, I'm not going to risk it." he walks over to the tray, starting to remove the contaminated items into the correct bin. "You wouldn't be the first, nor the fifth. Many times I've heard those words, and after the few attempts, I don't go by it," he explains.
Not pleased? He drops a device and grasps the bars harshly. "That's because you ran off, knowing you were my dog," he snarls, scowling harshly. The sighs, drawing back. "I will ensure you won't get away," he scoffs.
Once she was out, he did a few more readings, even adding devices that might just awaken her in pain.

Noella had either two explanations to give to him to maybe ease his anger about leaving him behind. It would have been easier to say something funny. But she watched him to throw away contaminated items. Well, anything to ease his anger. "Um. Uh..." She decided to try. "I couldn't find my way back- to you- and didn't know if you were on the next one or the next big machine." She didn't know what they were, but she could read that it was something called Swifttwist.
"Oh! No really! I wouldn't be able to get anywhere without some lab scientist knowing about it or you knowing about it." She was serious. "I'm aware of what would happen." She rubs her face with a hand. "And what types of horrid things you'd do to me to torture me." She hadn't any idea what he intended to do with her.
She was heading into a sound sleep- because she really did need to rest and get well. She was no longer holding her hand out as she didn't know what he had put on her anyway. She found herself in dreamland. Dreaming normal dreams this time.

His eyes rolled, chuckling darkly to himself. "Really? Is that so?" he questions elevating a brow. He darkly grins responding sarcastically, "I hadn't notice," he raises his hand. Then, suddenly he grips her bars, intimidatingly glaring close. "You lie, Noella. You freaked at the citizen about me." He grasps her chin close. "If you're going to lie, then do a better job at it, he snarls, drawing back.
Again, his eyes rolled. "You can't be serious, right? Some of you humans in the races are swifter than most apes. So, tell me another reason why you won't leave." he leans again, gathering a few items off of her. "Tell me another. You mutts find any excuse to not say you will run, but once given the chance, you will."
Finally, no retaliation or being demanding. No, this was nice and quiet. To prevent her from motioning if she possibly jolts awake, he binds her down. Then adds the halo to her forehead, continuing to read her body that's asleep.
