Zaius had already bought a human prior, so he wasn't going to go as far. This one appeared to be restless. But isn't that common in a Renegade? He lightly chuckles, enjoying another one retaliates, pleading as if it was their final stand. He wasn't too in-depth to retrieve another. Just a light bi to see if he could. This one might be fun to 'hunt' or Russian roulette. He'd wonder for snorts, how high they would go. "800!" he calls out. Then the begging occurred. He grimaces, "Hush that mutt! Wouldn't you rather hear the tongues of apes? Not some lowlife traitor?!"

Andrew had never met a council member and didn't know any. He shook his head. "Oh God no! Please!" He was begging now.
"800 heard. Do I hear 900?"

Maximus wasn't bored and was watching the human auctions. He was waiting for a chance to bid on a human. He rarely ever had one so this would be the first 'pet' renegade. He waited. There was another renegade, this one a female. He would bid on her.
Then he thought, mated pair equaled possibly a baby between them. "900." He outbid his friend. He figured he could bid on them both. But whoever bid on Andrew...would have to pay. He also wanted to see how high this would go.

Well, Gladiator lost the last round. He didn't mind though. It was a tiring day, between babysitting the President's 'favorite' pet and being constantly demanded. He examines the new victim. Well, this one isn't screeching for a child or wife, perhaps he would be a better choice? He seems to have boldness as well.
A dark ring curled on his wicked face, scowling greedily down at Andrew. There was another, but this one was first. His paw rose with no hesitation. "1,200!" he calls out. He looks around. Was Silas here to challenge him once again?

Andrew couldn't believe they were bidding on him! Like some kind of cattle! Urgh. The craziness of this!
"1,200 heard..going once, going twice...sold...to Gladiator...Please pay at the desk.."

Cobra grins, thrilled one of the backup announcers, declaring the final bid without hesitation. Some are higher than others, especially the young pup. Apparently, they were the new thing, young pups. The cutest ones go beyond a grand.
Gladiator put out his smoker into the container by him. He exposed a grudging grin, glowering down at the adult creature. Ah, yes, Kratos will enjoy his new 'catch'. There was no way he was going to admit to buying him.
Cobra comes by and drags him out of the room, and thrown into a temporary cage to hold on.
It would not take long or Gladiator to walk by, flashing a terrifying smile as he heads over to the desk.
----
Aurora drops to the ground, placing a palm over her trembling lips. "No! Andrew." She notices they haven't had the noose. She bolts over, trying to get to Andrew before he left.
Cobra hastily grasps her and hauls her back. "I give you the next piece for buying!" He calls out, dragging her over to the pole.
"No, Andrew!" she desperately pleads, hanging over Cobra. "Please, don't do this," she begs.
As heartless as Cobra casually was, he denies it. "That's enough, you're not the only thing that's been ripped away," he growls, restraining her in his grasp. "This creature has heterochromia eyes, along with the scarce collar like the other previous!" He informs. He drags her a little further. "We have a bid starting at 600! Or buy now for 1500!" he hoped they would just bid. More exciting.

Andrew grunts as he was removed from the stand and he tried to get to Aurora- no matter what they did. He was ripped from her and was thrown into a temporary cage. He felt his arm hit the ground and he winced in pain. He felt a lot of pain and grimaced. He hoped he hadn't sprained or broke his arm. It wasn't that gentle.
He sat up, massaging his arm, missing the dark glare directed at him. His life was going to be miserable.
Maximus leaned forward and said, "650."

Silas was late on arrival to the auction. It's not like they block the entries to the vast room. Apes seem to come and go. Private auctions appear to have the doors sealed close. Silas attended to some, but not all. It was very scarce to be down at the dark auctions. Surely uncommon to view any of his own buddies here.
Well, the recent Renegade was sold. Silas mainly used them as hardcore gladiators or the opponents in his ring. Other apes view him as cruel, and heartless to humans just from his appearance and career. He doesn't despise the race, just when they try to kill or on the other team.
He seats himself in one of the highest rows. He sees it as no issue, just like any other ape present who have sharp sights. He covers his eyes over to the next one. He furrows his brows, watching another two humans fight to remain together. Seems common with families in these parts. A mother from a child, a child from parents. It goes on.
Once Silas heard it was a Renegade, he's o for it. 1200 for buying it? Good thought. Perhaps he can provoke the other bidders. Sadistically he announces a higher digit, "eight hundred!" his voice rings out.

Silas shot his head over to Maximus, cringing as the number did not achieve. His eyes drop, releasing an intense huff. Of course, a council member would bid! They're ruthless to Renegade, who knows what the last one. That annoying haughty ape. Silas has no room to talk, he's been cruel.
He bounced his expressionless sights down to Aurora. Should he bid more? It's getting steep. He wasn't into the redheads or bright colors, no dark colors. Now her eyes were interesting. But that was conflicting his choice since she possessed red hair.
His hand shakily rose, deciding to bet, a little higher this time. "1,100!" boy that was steep! He honestly didn't want to go higher. He'd announce so they wouldn't rely on him next, but it was custom as well. "Final offer!" he exclaimed.

Maximus thought about bidding, but the price was.... Well, he had a human apprentice. So, he figured, "1,140"
"Heard 1,140...going once...twice...sold to Maximus. Please pay at the desk. And do be gentle. That is a female."

Casually he places his thumb onto a device that receives the correct amount of credits. Perhaps he could sell something, later on, to make up. His head bounces. "You have a nice day."
He turns to Andrew. Two apes, like before circled a noose around his neck. The enclosure was only fit for one human. They drew him to Gladiator who locked a leash. He walks closer, stroking Andrew's chin. "The President will be pleased to have you," he sinfully chuckles.
Aurora was hauled through like Andrew, though she battled to go get after him. She brutally bites Cobra's hand.
"Yow!" he bellows out, glowering down at her. He lifted a paw about to backhand, but security grips his wrist.
"Hold it! You moron she's not yours," he snarls, tossing his wrist. "You also might want to check that for sicknesses now," he advises, enclosing the loop around her neck, dragging her back.
Aurora mouths to him, "don't give in."
"You both are lucky neither of you is mine," he hisses glaring at Andrew. "Life would be worse than a liger teasing, and keeping it's pretty alive" he walks off.

Andrew grunted as he saw two apes wrapped a noose around his throat. He tried to fight it. "No!" He groaned as he was dragged forward to Gladiator. He did not like the way he sounded. It sounded like his worst nightmare just came into fruition and he wouldn't wake up. What would the president want with him anyway? Then he saw Aurora say not to give in.
Well, he wouldn't. Even if he were tortured.
