Scooter didn't know. "Don't know." He said, very weak. Then he passed out.

Aaron was a little frightened, having never seen Zaius mad or so evil. It gave him a tinge of fear, even if he were ape-raised. He most certainly didn't want to get in the way and the servant...He hurriedly said, "I'll go stay at Maximus' or go back to Zeke." He whispered, shooting up from the seat, forgetting about his shoes. "I've never seen an apes' evil glare before...and want to avoid it." He found himself racing to his room, grabbing his stuff as quickly as possible...
He couldn't face Zaius when he was in an unpredictable mood and it kind of frightened him. It was like he saw what was in his eyes. He was taking the servants' advice...Leave while he could. He was human- and would get Phoenix or Zeke. He could not shake the feeling from his gut. He stuffs his feet into his shoes, all the while looking at the door. What if he got mad at him? What if it was a bad idea?

When he returns, he was hastily gripped by the arm, gently hauling him close. "You do it right away, Zaius will be suspicious, and act on it. Remain here, act sick, hurt yourself, do something to force yourself out," he suggested. "Return yourself before-" his nervous sights caught Zaius, he grimaces.
Zaius huffs, then peers over at the Aaron, and his close servant. He lifts a lip, baring his fangs. "Where are you going Aaron. If you're leaving because of me. Don't you dare. You agreed to me and Maximus, you have no choice," he growls.

Aaron was about to reply when he noticed the servant's nervous looks past him. Aaron froze, and considered what he said. He could hurt himself, or say he was sick.
"Um..." Aaron stammered, as he realized he was just told he had no choice...what did that mean? Was he - "I thought I had a choice to come and go?" His brown eyes peered into his, trying to remain calm and not show any nervousness. He was trying to think on his toes to make him feel less likely to force him into his room. He had a choice, to come and go. If he didn't have his stuff, it would be believable. His clothes and stuff were in his hands. He was sure that Zaius would drag him back to his room. There was no telling what he would do.

Zaius grits his fangs, looking away, down at his baggage. Aaron was correct on him going as he pleases. He sighs, walking closer, gently grasping his chin. "You may, but you're frightened of what I did. I told you what that human was, a traitor, enemy, and probably a spy." He releases. "I'm not the only council member who interrogates renegades. Your close ape friends, you don't know."

Aaron considered his options. Stay or go. But the thing is? "I'd give the benefit of the doubt of the- human..." He tried. "Not all humans are- actually traitors, renegades, or a spy. Maybe he really doesn't know about Caesar or his Renegades and was telling the truth. Some humans are real wild humans...or he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe he was on Renegade land when he was captured and where-ever you got him, those sellers claimed he was a renegade."
Aaron looked at his baggage. It was only a small suitcase and a carry-on bag. Nothing more or less than a few days...If he left, he'd be a coward. But then again, he wanted to show intelligence. Sometimes, benefit of the doubt worked in cases like this..."Then you'd be torturing an innocent human pet." He added. "He's not fabricating any story." Then he said, "What if his family noticed his disappearance and ran for the hills? They might have an emergency plan. If one of them gets caught, they flee somewhere else. It's possible." Aaron was listing some things that were on his mind.
He glanced over to the servant...wondering if they were- ever harmed or hurt. Or were afraid of him? But he was a little careful. He was treading on thin ice, perhaps? "Benefit of the doubt." He tried helpfully.

Zaius despised greatly when a human dared to correct him or even suggests he was wrong. How dare this human, viewed as an ape suggests, and questions Zaius's confirmation. He grimaces, withholding his inner anger. Oh, how this human was very lucky he wasn't a mutt, or he would punish him harshly. He rose a hand, to halt him from speaking. "That's enough Aaron. You don't know the Renegades! You admitted to me that they didn't teach much. How do you know what they wear, it could be different clothing for civilians. Show me the evidence of your theoretical claims," he hisses. "That's what I'm going for, is his family to force him to spill," he growls, easing his rage. "Don't even correct me, or I will for you."
The servants remained silent and drew away.

"But in the books I read, they said they wore green, but he wore brown and blue." He slowly said. "And he wore boots made from bear skin. I analyzed his clothes and boots while talking earlier." He figured it was ok to point out what the books told him. They didn't teach him in school. He read the books that were in the library. Perhaps he was wrong. But he was a bookworm. "But a civilian doesn't necessary know where renegades are." He tried again to point out...Then he said something, "I know where the Gorilla Army base is because I visit there to visit Bartu and Galen sometimes." He then pointed out, "But I don't know where the outposts are and where other bases are when Bartu's deployed."
He was trying to prove with his own experiences. But then he clammed up...in the end- when he noticed the servants remaining quiet and drawing away. He had much to learn...What would he do to him if he was just mentioning some observations?

Zaius walks in a circle, gripping his forehead. he grimaces, highly annoyed as Aaron refused to give in. He darkly grins, peering back over. "Reveal to me Renegade clothing," he demands. "He was sold at the B-" he hastily prevents from mentioning the dark store. He didn't need Aaron to become haunted or spreading around. His head shooks. "Then he's a pet that refuses to answer," he twisted the words, not caring what Aaron pondered this round. "What do the forces have to do with this? If they have Renegades they keep them hidden, in a disclosed area," he implies. "Books don't always cover everything. When did it come out?"

Aaron couldn't just simply product renegade clothing...but perhaps...he could ask Bartu for some clothes. "Bartu might have some." He sounded very uncertain at this point. "He stuffs humans so I don't see why he doesn't have some to prove that they wear different clothes."
Aaron shifted foot to foot, obviously, his trepidation taking a hold of him. "The forces are dressed in tunics, they carry various weapons, have this oath to keep, and maybe this human pet isn't refusing to answer." He said. "Maybe he just simply doesn't know. It's like trying to get information out of a pet human." He finally said. "Some books are old. Some are new. The Renegade Soldier and Spies Halloween Edition." Was Zaius going to discipline him? He didn't know.

Zaius was getting fed up with how relentless the human was trying to be, attempting very hard to prove the innocence of Alan. Did he listen, or even try to look into the possible suggestions? Nope, he kept to his hardcore, false theory. He didn't care what others thought otherwise or a different perspective. "Come on Aaron," he growls grasping him by the arm, dragging him the stairs. "I'll show you why I'm relentless."

Aaron tried every which way to prevent going down those stairs. "No." He said, digging his heels into the rug, and even as well as trying to hold onto the wall. He clearly didn't want to see what was down stairs. He was already trying to fruitlessly fight against being forced into some place he didn't want to. "No! That's not fair and it's cruel." He blurted out.
"I'll never come back here again!"

"Good try Aaron, it's very worthless to even match a strength with an ape! Especially an orangutan!" he maliciously grins. He taunts at going down the stairs. "Fight Aaron, view the truth on how Renegades feel!" he continues to ruthlessly scare. He drags him to a room with hot coals and a pot. Then drew him to another room. an assortment of clothes to weaponry of the Renegades were present. He throws him in. "Examine it!"

Aaron turns pale and wan, as having never seen anything like that. He tried to get away- and refused to examine things. He was now trying to get past him, any way to get out of these rooms....He didn't care if he was an apprentice or not.
The servants had tried to get him to get out but he had been caught, trying to leave. This wasn't fair, being treated like a common human- pet. He couldn't wait to get out of there and quickly. It was horrible. How could this council member be so cold and cruel to ape-raised humans. First thing he would do is get his suitcase and day case. Then head to his former guardian. He still had his room there and he would see Maximus later. It was a bad idea choosing Zaius first.
If only he could get past Zaius. If he tried to push against him, he'd be mocked. He was already ill from the prospect of seeing the coal and pot. He didn't like what he saw...having never heard or seen torture devices. He was frightened.

Zaius easily shielded the only opening from Aaron to slip out. At times he got close but Zaius grips his shoulder, siezing him from proceeding through. "No! Aaron." He stated, gently pushing him back through. "You kept arguing on attire and things the prove he wasn't. So examine ask you like! Prove me wrong," he demands. "I've been around longer."

Aaron didn't seem to have any choice in this lesson. He was frightened only because he believed he'd get a coal and pot punishment. He gulped. The clothes were almost like Alan's, but they were different. "They're different from his clothing." There was a difference! He saw it right off the bat, but not with Alan's. "I-It's different." He stammered..He recalled seeing Alan's clothing. "T-they have an insignia or badge on their clothing." He finally said.
"Alan's clothing doesn't. Look at it." He insisted, but he knew Zaius wouldn't. He believed he had a renegade. "Scooter isn't a renegade or a fake renegade. He isn't impersonating one." He added quietly.
