Bethany 19 Purple hair, white eyes with black pupils. Rare. Lab-rat, zoo animal, companion animal
Bethany couldn't believe where she was and she watched apes surround her cage because she had purple hair, white eyes with black pupils, and was considered rare. What human had these special traits? She didn't know. She leaned against the wall, far from the door, and tried to hide her face and eyes in her hands.
"Move on. If you're not buying this human, move on." The handler urged. It seemed not to work since they wouldn't leave her alone. He was considering on moving her to the back where there weren't a lot of apes gawking at her.
Bethany continued to try to hide from plain sight of every ape. She didn't like anyone staring at her.

Hades's year's old human experiment had finally perished, not by natural cause. Likely the harsh, vicious chemicals that channelled through her body. A wrong blending of chemicals or a reaction went wrong? Oh well, time for a new one.
Hades wasn't really observing the cages, not in the severest mood to claim one. What was he attending here? Out of boredom or lacking amusement? He rather brutally hunts. Using wildlife to torment.
It didn't take him long to discover the exotic shade of violet Was he going to go and expect, was it worth it? He enjoys harassing humans to different shades, this one already contained it.
He sighs, walking over. He shoved the handler into another cage, stomping over to the container. With haste, the door unfastened to the enclosure.
Once entered, he mercilessly grapples the easiest part of her body. He brutally hauls her up her feet, then tosses her into the corner. Without warning, he clutches her nape, then the other hand viciously grabs her hair. His soulless scowl intently scrutinized her unique features. Her head rocks as he coldly tugs to each side.
After, he tossed her to another wall. "Bah, no issues but your variety of bizarre colours. You might do " He cruelly plots to himself. Again, he grasps her wrist, forcing her close by one heartless tug.

Bethany had been deeply absorbed in her thoughts of peace when she saw the other apes fleeing and then the handler was pushed into another cage. She tried to make herself small- but it barely worked as the other ape came into the cage, grabbing her from her position and then was tossed into a corner. "Ow." Well, that didn't feel good to her knee.
Then she was grabbed by her nape! She couldn't move away or do much of anything. Then her hair was yanked and examined. What the hell...Then she was forced to stare into his eyes. She tried not to look into his eyes. Then she landed in another corner, head colliding with the wall. Stars and dizziness flashed across her vision.
"Hey! Easy with that human!" The Handler finally spoke.
Then Bethany's wrist was gripped and she was pulled over to him. "Let me go please. You're hurting me."

Hades attends to the handler's voice. What? He wasn't beaten down cold? Well, conceivably severer next time. He sluggishly turns. Before his front even lined the side of the cage, his blackened scowl, intruded right at the handler. No, no. He just commanded? That ape was blessed to be an ape.
He huffs, in annoyance he flings her behind to the wall. Inaudibly he progresses the entry to the containment. Before departing his roguish fingers coarsely grip Beth's neck, driving her out as he exits back out. Ruthlessly he jostles her to the human-loving ape.
"Oh, you mean this animal?" he turns his eyes, venturing closer. "I'm sure you won't want to auction her to an ape like me, right?" He winks, crossing his chest by one hand. A shaded smile flexes. "Awe, well I assure if the value is steep enough, you just might," he whispers coldly.
While the handler was engaged, his claws sneakily clasp her wrist, drawing her back over. As she collides, Hades seizes her chin, pushing it up. "I'm not the only cruel ape who purchases," he titters.

"It's my choice whether or not I sell her to you." The handler said, firmly. The other apes were watching the interaction. Then before he knew the poor human was jostled towards him. He would have gripped her if the other ape wasn't using her as something to toss about.
Bethany didn't like the way this ape was and didn't like him at all. She could feel her neck starting to hurt by the way her chin was being pushed up. She couldn't believe her luck. Well, guess this chimpanzee would snap her neck. "Please don't hurt me?" She pleaded, a little scared. "This isn't feeling good to my back or neck."
"Now, don't manhandle the human." The handler said..."You may have failed to note that the handlers don't work by themselves. What you do in the cages should not be done in your lab." Rowan finally emerged, his tone cold, protective even. The human was brand new. Just shipped in. "After all, take a look around you, Hades!"
There were various ape children and their parents holding onto their children like he would take them. Even a new human being looked at, was huddling behind her soon-to-be owner. "Release Bethany and maybe we'll consider the option of buying. Otherwise, she is not yours."

Hades rolls his eyes swirling around a desk, then grips the chair, darting a pair of cold, shady over to the ape. The corner of his lips widened into a malicious grin.
"Pah, im very knowledgable on how it processes here, I mean I do enter once a month or so." His hand shot skyward. "Besides, I've purchased from you before," he whispers, each word bone-chilling.
He reluctantly releases her chin, clicking his tongue in annoyance. "I know how to bend, expand sections of your body without an injury or scar." He sighs, rotating his orbs. "You're fine, for now."
A rough, sadistic chuckle emerges. "Don't you mean what I do in the labs shouldn't be done here?" he rudely attempted to correct him, also intentionally provoking.
"Fine," he darkly utters, pushing her over to the first handler. His soulless scowl carried over to Rowan. Ah, is he familiar? Maybe? He's only worked with the one that's been getting upset.
"Bah!" His arms flung above. "You know I don't care. If I ever did, then I wouldn't be in a brutal occupation." He intimidating walks over to the other one, away from Rowan. "Three grand for the little exotic. Would you accept? If not I'll evade and seek out another. No big deal."

"And each human you purchase either ends up dead or 'missing'. It's all over the news about the mysterious vanishings." The handler said, gripping the human lightly. "This human is a female. That makes her even more rarer."
Rowan proceeded to ease the other apes and took the money for the other human pet. They walked to the door. "What a creepy ape." One of them said, upon leaving. "He has weird eyes. Did you see his eyes? They were red." One other ape said.
Bethany didn't want her body be stretched like that. It made her feel so uncomfortable and she wasn't one to reveal any part of her body to anyone. She found herself easing behind Rowan...
"I meant the other way around. What you do in the labs should not be done in the here in the cages." Rowan said.
Considering the money on the line. He nodded, "I'll accept your offer, if you let her live longer than a year."

What the recent vanishings? They're suspecting him? How truthfully rude. He, however, was a perfectionist at lying. He didn't care for the results. He's bluffed numerous times that it's like his truth had been plagued.
"Blame me, all because I'm a sadistic, ruthless ape. Well, if I was, wouldn't I not be seeking out one here?" he snorts, swaying his head. "How rude." He grins maliciously.
Red? They were just really reddish brown. Apes don't classify eye colour very smartly. He scowls over his shoulder. "That's right, so watch yourself." He sadistically taunts.
He laughs for a few moments. "You handlers are quite amusing. Now, if I even did that, this place would be blanketed with a certain vapour." He whispers for the two alone to hear. Secretly, it wasn't the first. "Besides my chemicals and solutions supplied this corrupted city."
His fingers tapped against the other, intimidating, while impishly smirking. "I knew you wouldn't reject. One year? I've had some survive longer. I'll tell you to want, I'll ease some. But minor ones."

"Well, you are a ruthless sadistic ape." The handler said. "There's no doubt about it. It's just gossipers trying to blame the scientists of the mysterious disappearances." He further added.
Rowan became aware of the human hiding behind him and patted her head lightly. Not bothering to give out cliches' and reassurances that her life would be good. It would be anything but worse. "As much as you like to terrify young apes- I'd refrain from it." He warned noticing that the other two apes had stopped talking.
The handler said, "Well, considering that fact that a vapor isn't a good idea with the children in the back. You said you're not interested in harming children. If you did unleash that, it would cause them harm." He whispered. "Besides, this human has been nothing but obedient to a point."
Bethany listened to apes talk, not really encouraged or wanting that ape as an owner. It didn't matter if Rowan was patting her head lightly. She would rather stay here and an open cage waited for her to use. She slunk over to the cage and entered it. She wanted the door closed and said, "I don't want to go. I'm staying. Close the door."

He couldn't resist and settles a rugged palm on his ribs. "Awe, why thank you." He coldly mocks, then darkly smirks over. "I'm sure diverse of apes should be conscious by now. A few seldom suppose I still like them! Pah! What manner of rubbish." His head shook. 'Any of you apes blame any wrongdoing in this city on my type."
He grunts, stepping a foot adjacent to the terrified human. "Don't appear perfect Rowan, you like to ridicule or harass." he jeers, fixating his jaunty gaze on Beth. Already petrified? What's the pleasure in that? Possibly he should just get a solid one? One that bears a struggle, strong spirit? Funner to crack.
His eyes throw and he clasps his temples, shooting his sights skyward. "Aye, ye, Yi." he huffs in exasperation. "This is why I store specific information to myself because you constantly imply it's always threatening or wrong." he drops his head, tensing his teeth grimly, glowering with sheer rage. "It's harmless. Only to knock out those soulless beasts."
He chortles then popped his head up. "You do realize us scientists really don't consider if they are compliant? If you're going to produce this entire purchase a lengthy, irritating, discussion, I will just leave." He folds his fingers, brutally menacing to the side, at Rowan. "I've done this multiple of time...why change now?" He commands in firm gritted teeth.

Drumming his fingers on the table, the handler laughed a little and rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. "To be honest, I never really thought you, Chimpanzees were crazy or psycho. There's a chimpanzee named Esmeralda. Maybe you should try seeking her for any bearings on these false claims? She may have a haunch."
Rowan was about to interrupt when he caught the human demanding to be locked back up in a cage. Then he turned, "Some apes like to spread gossip. There are many articles out in the city regarding mysterious disappearances of humans. They blame the scientists for some reason which escapes me."
That's when Bethany overheard him talk about brainless beasts. She rolled her eyes at his assumptions. "You are the brainless beast because you seem cold, cruel, and uncaring." She was sitting in the cage now, believing she was safe.

Hades glowers over at the anxious handler, placing his hand overhead on the side of the cage. He scoffs. "Oh, are you implying all chimps are evil and twisted? A little too judgemental are we? I don't go around condemning gorillas as mindless, cruel, brutes. Who has no compassion? DO I?" He grimaces. "So don't my kind."
His eyes shot over to Rowan, scowling for a moment, and back to the other handler. "Why don't you blame it on the council or even bands of dark apes? You know I'm not the only cruel, sadistic ape out there. Each occupation has shady apes." He sighs, gripping the back of the neck. "Oh cares?"
He snorts, swaying his head. Shortly a deep, sharp cackle wavered out. "Oh, call me the brainless? View who's in the cage? That's right, you. Who has quite the advancement in society? Yes, us. So don't drive insults that have no truth in them." He returns his nuisance back over to Rowan. "Can we get this done? If not soon, I'll simply leave take my three grand somewhere else."

"No of course not!" The handler exclaimed. "Just the scientists who do evil things to humans." It was apparent that the handler was protecting the human from his rage which seemed to be simmering? "I blame the council members and every dark ape for their hatred towards innocent humans."
Rowan finally blurted, "Alright. Don't worry about the human so much. It's not like they die within hours of their ownership. Three grand...Sold." He wanted Hades to be satisfied even as the human was moved into his hands. He didn't want to lose their business. The last he needed was another coaching for another handler.
Bethany didn't seem to note that difference. "I feel safer in a cage than out there than with you! You sound like a 'dark ape' to me."
Rowan handed him some items to finish the sale. He would probably only receive half the profits from this sale and he only intervened when the younger handlers were involved.

He grips his forehead swinging his head back. "oh, oh, wow." He intently sighs, biting his lower lip. His head descends back with his hand still remaining there. "You just mentioned I never thought we were crazy or psycho, that implying majority are. Don't twist words." he scoffs, removing his fingers, scowling over. "But, isn't that what all apes do to each other?" he lowly giggles.
An impish smile sways across his rugged face. "That's a little uncivil isn't, Rowan? Already intending that I will murder this beast in a very slight volume of time? Come now, I guarantee you I manage vigorously to keep them alive for a few months. I'm very determined about how I 'treat' them." He darkly titters. His hand expands outward. "Besides we developed a deal on more than a year."
Another rolls of Hades's devilish eyes came after listening to Bethany's insulting rebellion. He sighs, a little amused. He assumes this is only the beginning with her. However, he didn't react coldly as he would back in his lab down in the darker levels. Following the handler's wish.
Hades fiercely grips the leash, tugging her back over, not as strong as before. "Rowan, I'll even send scientifical proof she remains alive." he rigorously states. "I don't treat apes unfairly." His loose hand takes each of the supplies Rowan had delivered him. "Thank you."
"I understand your place, Rowan. Securing these unique creatures to have a vigorous life, even if it means to powerfully say no. Well, you can't do that to all." He draws his hand back in. "Besides you'll get paid beautifully this time."

The handler didn't reply because what if he was wrong. "I read the activist's magazines and the Ape Enquirer." Which presented the evidence. He was talking about what he had read. Oh well.
Rowan was silently observing and nodded in agreement. "I apologize for my associates' lack of common sense. He reads a lot of articles." Then he smiled a little.
Bethany did not want to be near a sadistic ape. "Please?" She asked. "Don't be mad at me." She pleaded. "I didn't mean to offend you apes. I just don't want to be harmed in any way. I've got nothing against you apes. You've been kind of nice to me." She wasn't meaning to be like the others. But fright did things and so did instinct. "I'll listen to orders as long as I don't end up on a dinner plate?"
Rowan gave him the papers to sign and waited for the money to deposited if he still wanted the human. "Her name is Bethany or Beth. Unless you change her name." He explained. "Also, my associate should not bring these materials in to work. He reads a lot of gossiping papers."
