penelope was transported through solid double doors, into an intent purple hallway by collar and leash. The complete hallway, including the ceiling, was bathed in violet, but for a few geometric white rows endlessly going down. She was guided through an opened door, into a vast area that held various tables. Ostara escorted her to the nearest table, then sat adjacent to her. She didn't attempt to remove the leash, not this beginning in pethood. It was early enough that none of her crew was even out on lunch, yet. Periodically some would arrive, then go. Each number of members has an organized break time. Ostara designedly chose a certain time to come out here. She looks down at Penelope, who back at the cages continued. She would be easy at first then in time go harsher. "Penelope, do you like any certain items you enjoy from the jungle? If not, I can have you try dishes around the world," she suggests. Her head shook, predicting that Penny just might question about service. "I'll have to gather the items or have one of the members here do it. No one serves you here but occasionally temporary humans that are used. Though I don't view you as a servant, but perhaps a performer? If not, I seek out any roles for mine. Now, I don't teach normally, but a few of my employees do."

Penelope followed and then was more curious about where she was going. She was clutching something in her hands as she walked. The silly ape lead her into a room with a bunch of tables. If only she could get out of this silly collar and leash. She'd be fine. She hadn't spoken much since she was guided into a violet hallway. It was strange to see such color and lights. And the shapes. To be honest, she was actually not sure what those shapes were. Instead, she drew her attention around the room. Wondering what it was.
The collar became a weight and the leash was annoying. Really? Keeping a leash on her? What she wanted to do was get rid of the leash and the collar altogether. Of course, she knew about the jungle and what she ate. She could joke but then again, this ape wouldn't know a joke from a real truth. She bet she couldn't. "Ape liver stew." She wasn't a full meat eater. She let that hang in the air...for a little while.
"I like french onion soup and he likes carrots and lettuce." She adds for her own little pet which she had been hiding since arriving in her shirt. She plops a small rodent the size of a small dwarf bunny onto the table. She didn't quite understand what she was saying about performing or being served here. She shrugged as her own friend explored the table.

Fortunately for Penelope, Ostara hadn't even noted the secret pet under the human's attire. Yet, was astonishing, as Ostara was an intent vigilant ape. How could miss this? To be true, a good chance she might not like it. Her guiding Penny by the leash was very mild.
By the time they both were seated and comfortably in place. Ostara had already detected the bothersome and hatred to the neck contraption. Yet, she immensely declined to remove it from her nape. Then came the amusing joke. By the false expression, and smiling eyes. A joke was in play. "Nah, I don't believe you." she pats her head. "Sounds disturbing."
Ah, yes a clearer answer. Oh, that caused Ostara's lips to quiver. That sounded scrumptious. She smiles. "I just might get that too. Haven't had any soups in awhile." she inaudible whispers.
Then, that's when a pesky rabbit emerges up, and onto the table. How nasty! In a swift moment, Ostara grasps the small rodent in her grasp. "I thought you had all the rodents caged!"

But Penelope hadn't really made any motions to remove the heavy burden from her nape, not just yet. Darn. She had gotten the joke. But what could she say anyway? No one really ate 'Ape Liver Stew' in her village. She didn't even know who this ape was. She acted kind..for now? Understanding even?
She bolted up from her seat, to grab her pet, but Ostara beat her to it. "Hey! He's mine." She was on the table now, despite her leash and collar. Well, she raised the dwarf rabbit pet from infancy since a wolf attacked it's mother. She'd spent all her time and days up caring for her pet. He was hers. No one else's! She looked a little wild even. Due to the fact that she was highly protective of the rabbit pet. She narrowed her eyes. "No one cages him!" She never did. Preferring baskets and blankets for his comfort. He was still a young rabbit.

Well? Not really an acknowledgment in a disappointing frown from Penny. Why not? Shouldn't she even smirk or a light titter at her own small joke? Oh well, perhaps she can start to develop as herself and not a terrified animal. She glances once more before drifting her welcoming stare over to the apes cooking.
Ostara didn't expect her new human to act soo defensively. Demanding? How foolish. She didn't act viciously as she would. Her massive palm grips her side with one clasp, and forcing her back down on the seat. She effortlessly forces her to sit. "Alright! That's enough!" she orders back.
She withdrew the rabbit from her reach. HAstily she clutches her nape, refraining Penny from going forth. "Ease down, and I'll give it back. Right now you're acting horribly. If you wish to have the bunny returns, sit down and don't fret," she grits her teeth, commanding.

Penny was hiding her smirk and disappointment from her. Why should she show any disappointment anyway. She glances over to see what she was looking at and noticed the apes were cooking. "Oh...That's a mink stew dish." She covered her mouth and smirked.
Penny wasn't fond of others taking her dwarf bunny from her and she couldn't help but be defensive for the little animal. It was an attachment to her little bunny. She didn't like the fact she was stopped either. She was forced into her seat and didn't want anything to happen to her pet.
"I'm raising him..He's my responsibility."

Ostara smiles. This human might secretly have a hidden talent she wasn't aware of. Could always tempt fresh things to identify it for sure. Ostara immensely enjoyed unique abilities. Also, bringing the top from the inner self of her humans.
She smiled when the human willingly applied by quiet force. She didn't want to be harsh, she didn't want Penelope to act like a young pup. That was very annoying.
She tenderly settles the bunny in front of her. Refrain your pet to be on surfaces? my crew dine her." she describes her concerns. "Besides rodents are known to possess sicknesses. However, you're free to raise. Keep it out of trouble."

Penny didn't know if she was just smiling or not. She was in a mysterious place, but when was she going to go back to her village? She didn't know...Ok...when she was done eating and all, she'd ask to go home. She appreciated kindness and all, but she still wanted to go home.
She was fine with sitting in her seat. But she was not fine just with the annoying collar that seemed to have found a permanent home around her neck. She rested a hand on her neck, shifting her hand around, trying to find a better place to set it. There was hardly anywhere with it being there.
Then her bunny was returned and she slowly plucked him off the table. He wasn't diseased or anything. He was a good rabbit. "Besides, he's litter trained." Well, that was a good sign. "And he's too young to be set free."
She was looking over at the door. Oh well, the leash wouldn't go that far and it was an escape route.

Well, she mellowed down, but her hatred for the collar and leash was still visible. Very casual for humans to despise such accessories. Ostara witnessed it countless times. She would work with them with the leash and collar, coaxing them they were comfortable.
Ostara reaches out, gently gripping Penny's fingers, tenderly drawing them away from her permanent collar. "No, no, " she mildly utters, then releases her wrist. "Just ignore it."
Disease or not, Ostara had to take close procautions. She didn't need her team or crew ill. Especially when fun events were coming up. It only took one exotic fruit to cause nearly every ape to be ill. She was more tedious this time.
A warm smile enlightens her face. "Don't need to,I believmtou. Just, keep out of trouble. I don't want to send him away. I'm telling you only this once. Don't allow any issues with him." she hastily reminds. She looks down. "I better go get the food."

Penelope didn't have the opportunity to get used to new accessories. She only knew it was not lightweight to her. She despised the collar and the leash. Why keep her in a collar anyway? It was cumbersome. When she went to look down at the table, the collar actually dug into her chest. Clearly, it didn't fit right nor was it on right. She stopped bending her head..Well, guess she had to keep her head straight and her neck straight to avoid it digging into her.
Tugging on it, did nothing and how could you ignore something anyway that was bugging you so? She didn't know. She looked at her little bunny. Sending her bunny away for what she believed would be issues? He was litter trained and that meant he wasn't about to go anywhere.
She figured she could try getting away from her while she was getting food. She glanced at the door once.

Unfortunately, Penelope's desire to escape when Ostara had departed had failed as one of her close friend Pearl, reached over. Ostara smiles, greeting her close friend in a firm handshake, then a hug. Her friend glimpses over, spotting the unusual human sitting beside OStara. She stretches over, stroking her angel-like hair. "She's cute!"
Ostara looks over her shoulder, down at Penny. She bounces her head in approval. "Yes, she is. I just got her today," she merrily admits. "I didn't think I would have, but her uniqueness persuaded me otherwise." she looks back ahead, at Pearl. "I was going to get onion soup. But I wasn't certain I should leave her be. Can you do it?"
Pearl happily nodded, happy to go gather their orders. "Of course!"

Penny was just securing her little bunny when she was about to stand up and leave. But the plan was foiled when she realized that she was being looked at. She could bide her time and wait. There had to be a way to leave without them noticing. Unless she figured out how to outsmart them. Somehow.
Then she felt her little bunny crawling out again. Like usual, his little inquisitive face sniffed the table.
Penny batted a hand away from her hair. She spent an long time in the cages making her hair look presentable. Then she couldn't believe what she heard! Ostara wasn't going to get the soup. She was sending her friend. She rolled her eyes and patted her bunny on the head.

Pearl cheerily smiles, taking a moment to glance back over to Penelope. She noted the unusual bunny being nestled by the human. Unusually, she didn't confront the awkward scene, only departing to gather a few bowls of steamy soup.
Once Pearl strayed away from the table, Ostara sighs, rolling her head to the side, looking down at Penelope and the rodent. She rests her chin in her flat palm. "Keep that critter from the table, and out of trouble." she strictly reminds. She had spotted the quick eye roll. Oh well. ++++
Three, warm bowls settled skillfully on each of Pearl's long arms as she returns back over to the table. She masterly maneuvres close, taking each bowl and placing it in front of Ostara then Penelope. Pearl glides hers across the table.
As Ostara dips a spoon into Penelope's bowl, Pearl wanders around the other side and seats herself. "Thanks." Ostara appreciated.

Penny hadn't done really much of anything and then the leash, gnawed off by her bunny, fell to her lap. The bunny was on her lap. She was free, but she did want to eat. As long as the two didn't notice the leashs' demise. Well, baby bunny nibbled on everything. Penny was holding on her bunny, eyeing the other ape. Well, this was going to be interesting.
She hadn't spoken much except that what the bunny did was out of instinct or gnawing. The bowl of soup was placed in front of her and she would have sipped it...had it not been for the spoon. She gripped the spoon and started to eat. It tasted a whole lot better than the food in the cages.
She could leave- but they would know something. She still needed to bide her time. While they were least likely to suspect something. She kept her hand on the bunny's back while she was eating. There was no way the bunny would be taken away from her.
