Ray didn’t often go into the hunting fields. But things had been rather frustrating at home lately. It was not an excuse, he knew. But at the same time he also knew that he needed to do some recon, or at least what recon he could. The apes had been getting so much closer to his home lately - so much closer and bolder. Today he was hoping to find out why. He was quiet to move around near the trees. Keeping silent but vigil watch for any apes nearby. He knew he was a good specimen with his silver eyes and youth. But god forbid he get captured out here. Which would prove his dads earlier warnings right. “Of course they’re quiet today,” he grumbled. “Where the heck are you you damn apes?” helios

Helios oddly hadn't been interested to hunt as of late with the intense happenings throughout the town and jungle. Actually it's been very vexing with a few apes that he knew very close to be involved. Luckily, after 'work' he was able to obtain free time for that super late evening. It would be completely nightfall. With the umbrella, elongated jungle trees, it would shield out the majority of pure starlight. Helios was exceedingly glad he was free and able to tend to his favourite hobby. He would attempt to use similar tactics from the previous hunt. Just quite various. Quietly, he trudges through the thicket of the deadly jungle. His eyes inspecting vividly, especially behind him. It's not common, but it occurred. Humans attempting to slay, or simply attack him. After a long hour, a foolish voice echoed. Can Helios really deal with a moronic human? He enjoyed a challenge. Well, it's been a long three hours. However, he was intently patient. From a fair distance, and a long time, he had been surveying the interesting teenager. Even occasionally 'setting' up the area.

Ray was an observant kid. He had always been that way, honestly. It was made him smart enough to typically keep himself out of trouble. As such, it wasn’t long before he noticed something was amiss. Was it Apes? At first he couldn’t tell, but after some surveying he got his answer. And dammit it would be an orangutan. “Damn,” he muttered to himself - thinking quietly on his options. He had a knife in his pocket and he could try and attack it. But at the same time it had the height advantage, and Ray was a bit lazy - far from the fighting type of human. “Alright then, run for it it is.” Thinking quickly he sprinted in the opposite direction. Hoping he hadn’t already set traps if he was indeed out hunting. helios

Helios smirks in pleasant satisfaction. The human teen was darting the opposite way where Helios was concealed. Well, he hoped he was. In fact, he was gleeful, because, Ray wasn't conscious that he was entering a dangerous zone. Well it seemed that way. Helios casually walked over, he was in no rush. Why scurry in likeable succession? Still, Ray would unexpectedly collapse into a wall net that released skyward after being initiated by pressure. If that wasn't going to halt, a heavy net from above to descend down. Desiring to drape over Ray.

Ray continued to panic. He could still hear the ape, maybe even see him a little bit. But he was licking his lips. He would not be caught! He would not be caught dammit. He was too smart for that. He looked over his shoulder and was chuckling a bit when he hit something hard and fast. What the heck was that!? He didn’t really have much time to ponder when the second one fell on top of him. Ray had never even seen a net, so far was quickly overtaking him as he struggled on the ground. He tried to pull whatever this damned thing was apart, but it was heavy and seemed to just be everywhere. “What the hell is this!? Let me out! Stop it!” He shouted. helios

Amusing Helios was once again. Why has this week been too simple to bag humans? It seems the animals were easily given in, or Helios was becoming easy. He wouldn't argue, he enjoyed it. However, they just seem too easy. Helios walks scarily quiet over to the grumbling and quivering teen. Helios inaudible stops, examining the human now he had a very distance between him and Ray. To his astonishment, he was younger. His head sluggishly rocks to the side. "Uh, you're a small one, aren't you?" He observes the trap closing on him until his body was entrapped.

Of course he was definitely young.
It was obvious why he didn’t know what the trap was. Moreover, he was scared. What was this giant orangutan going to do to him now? Bash his skull in? Kill him? He didn’t know. But there was apprehension and fear in his eyes as he looked up at him.
He couldn’t even move either. “Please, I only turned eighteen last week. Please don’t hurt me,” he managed, hearing his comment as he quivered on the ground. “I was just looking for some friends of mine who were taken. I don’t even know what I was doing out here, honest. I’m not a hunter, or a fighter...”
Unfortunately he knew very little of the pet trade. Or how that made him an ideal house pet type - but he was still begging, terror in his eyes.

Eighteen? Just recent? Already a full-grown 'dog', how helpful. He arches over, dividing his cheeks into a sinister grin, studying him with intent interest. This was an entertaining game and Helios appreciated numerous of humans he either shot or captured. Either was cleverly preyed for. "Little human, I don't harm or kill unless I have a credible reason to," he reveals, clasping each side of the trap, then shouldered the 'net'. Helios wasn't specifically certain on what he intends to deal with Ray. Keep, or sale? There are diverse options. "You will likely discover some or all of your 'freinds' at the Cages in Ape City," he dully explains to the frightened human. It doesn't take even a fracture to scare the 'mindless' animals. Actually weak in multiple ways. "You do realize you're entering dangerously close to my hometown?"

Ray cried out as he was lifted over his shoulder.
He felt like vomiting but didn’t, not fully understanding what was happening. Why was he going to the cages? What would he be doing in a frickin’ cage? He tried to struggled but felt very much constricted. “What cages? I don’t belong in a cage. I’m no animal!” He managed, then added. “Please just let me out of this. I’ll do whatever you want!” He managed with absolute fear and naivity of his own situation.

Helios had no plans to exterminate the young human. Additionally, he really had no reasons either. Though it was common for him to hunt and kill. Ray, unknowingly was lucky. Nearby locations were dressed in lethal traps. Well, Ray contacted one that didn't execute on point. He pauses, entertained by the outrageous act performed by Ray. It really wasn't necessary. Helios viewed the behavior that younger 'pups' would do. However, he ignored it, with a swift sway of his head. "You're an animal, human. Whether you decline or not, you are," he whispers, lowering the 'net' to the ground. Before Ray was able to escape, if he did, he was grappled by his little wrist and drew closer. "How far can you walk?"

Ray was silent.
An animal? Really? But he was human! Humans were not animals! He felt himself drop and tried to move but as he was hauled up only whimpered a little. This whole thing was terrifying even though he was already eighteen, he suddenly felt very small and defenseless. “I can walk for a long time. I’m agile,” he managed quietly. Seeing no reason to fight this - he knew it would happen either way as he had no way of fighting back. “I just want to go home... not a cage.” He murmured.

Feeling satisfied, and considerably enlightened about not having to draw him back to Ape City the 'traditional' way other hunters do. No, he appreciates 'his' ways of taking, retrieving and returning his game. He doesn't like to be any standard hunter like the other gorillas that literally mimic each others' tactics. Helios calmly bound the young adult by sturdy, light-weight chains by his wrist. "Good, then I don't have to worry too much." Then a cold grin crept on his sadistic face. "Just keep up, this horse will adjust to your pace. If you fail, you'll get dragged. WOuldn't that hurt?" He doesn't mean to get too cold, but darkly he enjoys it. He binds the 'chain' to the back of the massive steed, then mounts effortlessly. He turns his head, staring down, coldly. "Ready?"

Damn chains, really?
This guy sure had a lot of nerve. If his parents found out... Welt heya have his head but at least he’d probably get his ass saved. Wait was that a horse? He wanted him to keep up with a horse? He’d never seen one in person but it was beautiful and he was a bit mesmerized.
“Damn that’s a beautiful horse. Never seen one up close,” he muttered. Not wanting to compliment his captor. “I’m as ready as I’m ever going to be. Given what the hell im experiencing.”
All the same when they started walking he didn’t fight it. He just pushed to keep up. He wasn’t going to let this... Creature see him weak. He was far too proud for that.
