Kratos zaius
Maximus also had other matters to be discussed regarding two ape-raised humans and their case. Maximus was reading the reports the humans wrote, even as well as Olivia's report. Kratos would be indifferent to them because they should know better than to be criminals. However, the facts of the ape-raised humans were involved a cage district release of pet humans. Aaron's report reiterated what he had done. But it was equality. Two ape-raised humans were citizens of Central City.
Maximus glanced at the two ape-raised humans.

Aaron couldn't believe he was 'back' here. First, he was sentenced to prison and then bailed out by Maximus. Now he was being tried once again for letting out some humans with another human named Eve. In the process of releasing those humans, he found an ape-raised equal. Although, Olivia was younger than he, she was still an ape-raised human. Aaron felt that he was doing things the right way by breaking Olivia out of a cage in a human district. He could argue with the Council by saying that she was too young to be given any choice between an apprentice or pet. It was every ape-raised humans' right as a citizen. He would rather be noble than not. So his thoughts were only on equality.
He wondered if Zaius would be present to 'discuss' his apprentice as well. But that wasn't something he was prepared to 'endure'. Well, this case was about ape-raised humans more than pets. He hadn't really set humans free. He had nothing on him like a pole. The hack of the cage Olivia was in was easy since Rowan's code worked in several districts. It wasn't odd that he recalled all the numbers in his head. He had met Rowan and Bartu when he wanted to go horseback riding. He hadn't showed up for that day since he met two Council-members that day. Then after a rocky lesson, Aaron went to Norrix to ask if he had what it took to be in the Army. Upon arrival, it seemed that the gorillas were too busy or something, so now he went back to Maximus and Zaius. There were 'holes' because sometimes, not every ape kept track of every ape-raised human in their free time.

The only thing Olivia could think of was how large this room was. She had never been in trouble before and didn't know what she did wrong except follow an equal ape-raised human. She hadn't met any of the ape council before today and to say in the least, meeting them was possibly intimidating because their podiums made them look like mere towers. Standing near her, was Aaron.
Olivia wondered if Rowan or his family would 'support' her. She hoped he would come as moral support. After all, everyone by now had to have known she was a missing ape-raised human. Olivia didn't know why she was here. She hadn't set any humans free, but she had followed Aaron due to him being a familiar face from school and he was on an A honor roll through school.
She still had five years before her choice was made. How could criminals make her decision for her? It was like her 'rights' were abolished. She believed she did have rights. She wasn't out to 'cause' any trouble. Not at all. It wasn't like she asked for trouble and she did leave notes for her parents of where she was going and what time she would return. She had friends who were chimpanzees and gorillas. Like every other ape-raised teen, she would spend the night over at her friends. Often seeing a movie, or going out to the Central City shopping district. She was always chaperoned along with her friends. Whether by their family or the other family.
She just wanted to be back home with her family and resume her friendships and schooling. She felt like she had missed a lot of school.

Aaron was in a private courtroom, Kratos really didn't want the media to discover it. It really could place ape-raised humans in a bad place. Perhaps even draw out that title and have all humans as pets. It was a possibility that Kratos would secretly attempt to do.
Annoyed, exhausted, Kratos storms through the two doors. Once he received word that humans had been set free over the weeks, it fired him up, forcing him to take action. However, after discovering it had been a ape-raised, it was a cringy thought.
Loudly he placed himself in the largest, highest seat. He took one glance at Maximus, who's likely to defend as it was custom. Not all the council can go for one side. He sighs, 'gently' slamming the cube onto the pristine tabletop. "Alright, alright," he grunts.
He scowls down after reading the reports. "Aaron, many witnesses spotted you through the streets with the runaway humans," he sighs, "we'll review the footage. I want your side of the story first." He grimaces, snarling coldly, "I hope this all is a misunderstanding."

Aaron wasn't surprised by Kratos being angry. He clearly was seen with the wild humans when he and Olivia fled the cages. But they went separate ways, not exactly following them into the forest. But remaining in the city throughout the time along with Olivia. Of course they were seen fleeing with the other humans.

Maximus said nothing for the most part, wanting to hear his side of the story before they reviewed the footage.

Aaron didn't want to act like he was thinking of any excuses. "I only followed them out of the cages with Olivia beside me. After that, Olivia and I left them and the wild human Eve." He wasn't falsifying anything. "We were captured a little later. Other apes called that number and reported us I bet." He accused and his tone wasn't pleasant. It was like he had no rights whatsoever and were about to not have any. He hadn't really did anything wrong. "Besides, I didn't know that there would be 'wild' humans and Eve in the cage districts the next day. Olivia wanted to help me locate other ape-raised humans to free them in case they were like her." He wasn't making any excuses. "And these three burly apes trapped us with snares and aimed their guns at us. We didn't even have anything to do with Eve's actions." Aaron was about to say. "I did report some things." He finally added.
