When Silas heard the reverberating gunshot, he ceased from speaking to the frightened 'pup'. His eyes narrowed. despising using a gun, unless it was needed. However, he wasn't going to judge that swift, as he didn't know the full situation. His eyes returned to their natural state, looking down back at the frightened girl. He didn't feel part remorse as she was so young.
The idea of releasing her washed away as there was arguing in hollers. He frowned, hoping it wasn't too hunters, literally battling each other over a useless reason. A quick roll of his eyes, he gently rolled the net at his back, then stomped over.
He stopped by a tree, observing the two hunters, from a far distance between the two. Another roll of his eyes, with an annoyed grimace. Of course, it was two hunters, especially that insane chimp. Eventually, he stopped from the tree, exposing himself towards the other apes.
His hand rose, wavering at mainly Cobra. "Hey! I hate to ruin your impress moment in wanting the girl. But, Galen is correct. If you don't want to end up in a net from disobeying Bartu's hunting rules, I suggest you give in and freely give." His glare intensified with each pause.

Heartlessly, Cobra shrugged, not even having the care of shooting a young human. He amusingly watch down below at Galen's reaction. He placed his hand under his chin, settling his elbow on the branch. "Now, now, Galen. It's a human, an animal." He snorted, continuing to be cold.
His head elevated when that pesky Orangutan slipped into their arguments. A disgusted grimace formed across his face, annoyed. However he tried to shift the trainer, attempting to persuade. "Hmm? You should agree, not even caring about the results. As for a trainer, you are, I would suspect you to be on my side, knowing who attacks first, and finish is the winner."

Galen believed Silas because he was right. However, Cobra was trying to take his claim away from him. One human per an ape. Galen found her first and toyed around because he liked hearing her scream and run from him. He enjoyed the thrill of a chase. Especially a good chase.
"So what? Silas and I found her first. There were two. One for him and one for me. You're not being fair by taking my human." Galen argued. "Two apes equals equals two humans. It was one human per ape by the rules he gave. So if there were two apes and two humans, Silas claimed one and I claimed this one. Your shot was unnecessary. She's not yours. She's mine. She was with the other human Silas caught in the net. He told me to pursue this one so I did."
Galen continued to stare and continued to claim what was his. If anything, the Army taught you how to stand your ground and that's what he believed he was doing. "There are other humans, with your name on it. Taking another apes' claim is wrong." He pointed out as he grabbed her shirt and tugged her towards him.

Carol shifted around several times, trying not to cause attention. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small pocket knife.
She hoped the ape was too busy to notice what she was doing. The netting was made of a tough material, but that didn't stop her from attempting to get away.

Melanie was afraid and should have just stayed home. She grunted as she was dragged towards the young gorilla. "If you let me and my sister go, we won't tell." Her voice sounded bordering on hysterical and nervous. "Who we going to tell?" She had a voice and didn't quite understand anything about these weird apes. Especially with the crazy one wanting her for something. "I'm not a dirty animal." She spoke to the mad scientist. "My sister and I pride ourselves with our appearances and are the most cleanest people you'd ever meet."
Melanie was also aware of the fact that apes and humans were awfully alike. "Besides, we're awfully alike. We all walk on two legs and have two opposable thumbs, and have feelings just like you. Only thing we lack is brute strength. I don't even know what you want with us except to separate two young adult teens from their home."
"And then you got involved in a sibling rivalry of who has the better singing voice."

Silas placed Carol on the side of a tree, providing her more cover from Cobra, as he is unpredictable. After, he strolled back int he range of the sadistic scientist's view. He shot his eyes over to his partner Galen, listening to him bluntly protect his 'catch'. He didn't blame the young ape.
A large brow rose, with Silas's eyes narrowing coldly up at Cobra. "Yes, I know the rules. However, obviously, you haven't been to one of the rings, however. So if you don't know about the ring, I advise you to hush." His arms folded, feeling a little relieved by not hauling a human, not yet anyway.
Being very unaware of Carol's attempt to escape, Silas was very oblivious to Carol's knife, and the slicing to the net. It would be complicated at first, as the martial is very strong compared to normal leather. At that moment, his mind wasn't on the young human, but the manipulative ape in the tree.
"Cobra just provides him the catch, or you'll be in a net." He threatened, removing his crossbow from its place. "My final warning."

Cobra ignored the human, more concerned towards Silas's threat, plus didn't care what the girl hollered. He snorted, rising up from cowering on the large jungle tree limb. He shouldered his deadly rifle. "Fine, you win this round ape. But if you cross me and my hunt, that is truly mine, you're going down." He threatened in return." His glare increased for a moment.
Cobra snagged onto the branch beside him, then swung to the next, repeating a few times until he was out of site. It would seem these two partners had humans close to them. Perhaps Cobra would secretly tail them, then blast at the first human that was spotted.

Galen watched him briefly before examining the wound on Melanie's leg. It would require cleansing and bandaging. The jungle was not a place to get shot in as there were many infectious organisms. "Be a good girl." He spoke as if to a 'child'. "We'll get your wound taken care of."
He picked her up and carried her like a prize worth a lot of praise from his girlfriend. "I think my lovely girlfriend will adore your pretty voice and face."

Oh no...They were going to be separated? "Oh don't separate us. We're practically family members. We just wanted to clear the air and make up. We didn't get along until Carol told me what she went through. I didn't believe it until she explained. I was oblivious and all." Melanie wasn't hollering. She was just speaking normally. She had much to say, but wasn't sure if the apes cared or not.
"I'd be sad if I were separated from my sister. Where's my sister?"

It was proving to be a net that was inescapable and she noticed that her knife was getting dull. She put it away in her pocket and slumped. The net material dug into her back. She cried out when a tender spot was touched by it. She leaned forward, putting the pressure off her back.
She really wanted out of this net. "Oh come on! This isn't fair!" She finally exclaimed in a loud tone. "Let me out of here already! My back hurts."

Again, Silas wasn't even startled by Cobra's threat, though, becoming a little annoyed. He aimed his crossbow upwards, relaxing the back against his shoulder. Silas did hear Melanie's holler, but like Cobra, ignored. As he was occupied with a sadistic ape in the upper branches.
Silas scoffed heavily at Cobra. "I'd like to see you try, on the next hunt we crash into." He implied to cobra, shoving his threat to a dare. "You'll go down before I will." He stated, placing his weapon back into the socket, figuring it would be some time before another human arrived.
After Cobra vanished through the trees, Silas turned towards Carol, perking an ear. He deeply sighed, though slightly smiled. "No worries young pup, you'll be home soon. Because I don't think I will hunt more." His large finger brushed his chin. "Though, I'm interested in taking Cobra's challenge."

She finally felt a smile coming on. "I can't wait to make amends with my sister. I'd invite her in for a cup of tea and maybe we'll sing some duets. My cottage is small, warm, and inviting." She was happy to know she'd be going back home and shortly. "Melanie and I could sing to our hearts content. She said that she'd like to get to know me better." She was rambling on but that was ok. Her excitement overriding any discomfort.
"How about you release me from this net? I've got something in my cottage that needs to be taken care of. She may starve to death if I don't take care of her and I'm not home by a certain time."

Galen was aware that the humans were being ignored in their requests. It wasn't demands and that was what puzzled him. They were asking questions. "Hush. You'll be going home shortly." He repeated Silas' response to his human. The human in his arms were claiming that they were both family and didn't want to be separated.
"Family? Sisters?"

Silas snickered warmly, reaching his fingers through the net, patting her smooth head. She was adorable that's for sure. He retracted his digits, curling his fingers inward. He grasped the handle of the net, hauling upwards, then rolled it against his back. He glanced back, peering down at the joyful girl.
"Oh, no little critter, you're going home with me." He corrected to Carol, slightly grinning. He wasn't very brutal towards humans like a few apes he recently greeted. However, when it comes to humans, and his hunting, he treats them like animals. "Plus, your sister is going to my partner Galen, don't worry he isn't cruel, mostly." He added.
His body shifted at Galen. "You want to hunt more, or call it quits?" Silas warmly questioned, observing him, and his possible new human. He lightly shrugged. "I don't mind to keep going. besides, I'd like to go against Cobra's challenge. You may end it now, but I shall proceed."

Carol grunted. She wasn't liking the way this was going. "I have obligations and if I don't go home right now. She'll die along with her litter. She's relying on me! Please?!" Apparently the animal she was caring for was an animal with a litter of pups herself. Even getting petted on the head and getting called adorable wasn't helping matters now. Insistent, and very persistent.
Carol began to feel worse since now her sister was going with another ape. She was feeling a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. "You're a mean ape being and a heartless cruel being, just like that other ape in the trees. Killing others' house hold friends."
She was referring to her pet.
