Galen took the arrow out from his back. He was lucky it didn't puncture through to his lung. While they were all busy, he focused on Venus. The girl needed to be captured. Here was an opportunity for Cobra to get his human. He loved wild ones and so this was one was pretty wild. |

Cobra, was in fact dangerously close to the group, as he didn't leave that far. He was trailing with Silas and Rowen. Wanting, to claim another human ruthlessly before one of the other apes did. But so far they hadn't move, because the little pups were arguing.
Cobra was a few branches up from where Venus was. Firstly, he was observing the girl for upon other apes. What a site, glorious, yet funny. He didn't plan to get her just yet. He'd watch the fiery bright brat, waiting.
His eyes traveled to Silas, who was clearly upset. His brows rose. Was this ape really going after the wicked albino? No way.
Cobra leaped from the tree above, trying to land on the human, to pin her unexpectedly.

Carol helped Melanie while running towards her cottage. The other human was probably able to take care of herself. After all, Carol had no weapons except a small knife. She knew if she made it to her cottage. @nyx and @galen wouldn't find them. She could lock the door or blockade it with furniture. Even lock the windows if necessary. They'd be foolish and dumb to climb up on the roof and go through the Chimney. And even the flue was closed and lock. It wasn't needed until the cold winter months. There were only three rooms in the cottage. Two bedrooms and one little gathering area around the fireplace.
They just needed to get there to do that. Then give basic first aid and antibiotic herbs for Melanie to take.

Melanie was able to run alongside, but it was painful. She was about to tell Carol to go and that she was slowing her down in her escape. But Carol wouldn't leave her behind. Melanie was starting to realize how strong willed Carol was in resolve. She would have given up, had she have been on her own.
"Are we almost there yet?" She asked.

Silas bounced his eyes over to the two girls, who were sneaking away, after noting the arrow soared after Venus. Not observing where the dart pierced Venus, which Silas failed to do. He believed otherwise that he did. Noting the two girls sluggishly headed out.
Silas hastily loaded his net onto the weapon, this time larger, for a bigger animal. He released after an easy aim on the two sisters. He smirked, as the net soared after the two. Just like with Venus, he believed the net encased with the two humans. He glimpsed back over to his tedious provoker in the trees. Grimacing in anger, after realizing he completely missed.
His fists curled, narrowing his eyes coolly at the vicious Gladiator. "Sure, I missed once. But, I promise you I'll get you for what you've done. Fiddling with my catch is a massive no, and whoever does, I go hardcore revenge on them." His voice rose in vexation. The corner of his view spotted the ruthless chimp Cobra, lingering higher than Venus.
No, no, that ravenous scientist was not going to achieve his victim. No, this angry orangutan was going to go after the human hard. He would already assume she was skilled as she dodged his dart.
Rapidly, he bolted to the tree, where Venus was settled on one of the massive limbs. Harshly piercing the tree, then roughly grasped the lowest, large limb. He hauled himself onto the branch he clutched. After he effortlessly mounted up each, vine-coiled tree branches, that expanded in size as he went up.
"You're mine! You devious brat." He called out.

Carol heard a noise and before she could react, it entwined her and her sister. She let out a startled cry as she fell onto her sister. There had to be a way out of this net before Silas or Galen retrieved them. They were lying on the forest floor. Then a thought occurred. What if they managed to stand up and put their legs through the holes. It may have been a good idea. But there had to be a way to get out of this predicament.
"This really sucks."

Melanie couldn't agree with her more. It really did suck. But she seemed to be on the forest floor, thinking of the same thing. "Maybe we could stick our legs through the holes and walk to the cottage. Then figure a way out of this stupid net."

He didn't pause or hesitate to secure the humans. He made sure they couldn't leave the net. "Gotcha both again. Leaving the party so soon?" He sounded a little cold, but he didn't want to lose his human either. Silas would claim a third human for the gladiator arena? He pulled the next up to his back and started to walk to his horse and where they had been previously. They needed to get these two the encampment so they could continue to hunt.

Carol cursed herself..."Look! If I don't get to my cottage! I have to get to my cottage!" Carol began to lose her patience. "Have a heart! Are you apes all heartless to your own?!"

Galen paused. "One of our own? What would you care about one of our own? You're a human who is nothing but an animal to us. Why would you even care about one of our own? We all know you humans try to get out of everything. Give it up and accept that you are caught and will live a longer life in our cities than out in the wilds."

After landing from dodging the arrow, she heard rustling above as Cobra leaped. Out of instinct, being familiar with noises behind her, she leaped back, closer to the tree. As Cobra fell, Venus darted her eyes down at Galen, then mainly Silas. Such anger burning in his eyes. Much like her original owner, that 'vanished'. She lowered her head, observing Silas's scurry. Silas was sure swift when provoked. She didn't stick around on that limb much longer. With Cobra, and Silas after. She leaped to the branch closest to her, then like Silas, swung branch to branch.

Cobra missed Venus, as she was very aware to her surroundings. Not very shocking, given she's a ruthless gladiator in the rings. Train hard to kill, and be very sly with your moves. He didn't expect her to move out of the way so swiftly, just an easy catch. Nope, like some other humans, she wasn't.
Cobra grappled onto the tree limb Venus use to be on, then easily climbed onto it. Instead of looking where Venus went to, he shot his eyes down at Silas. He noted the vexation in his annoyed face. Of course, he wanted to go after, but why? He's so mellow and calm. Weird personality changes.
He watched him fly through the branches after the girl, with no effort. He didn't go after, but decide to go another route.

Before proceeding any further into the depths of the jungle, Silas glanced over his shoulder down at this partner. He was remaining where he is, perhaps Galen was injured where he couldn't. Silas wasn't too worried about catching up to Venus, he's very aware of his natural speed through the trees, compared to the humans.
His hand wavered towards the sky to receive Galen's attention. Though, Galen might have was already observing since the recent action. "Hey! Partner!" He called down to. "Either bound those two, to prevent escape, as they are doing." His finger shot over to the clever girls. "Or haul them away, whatever you like. " He informed in a loud holler.
After, his palm clutched onto the upper, sturdy branch. Once on top, he surveyed for Venus, which she was easy to note by her pale flesh. He grimaced, nailing his fangs in part of his lips. He resumed to hastily zoom through the trees after her. Not once did he glimpse over to Cobra.

Carol cleverly managed to free herself, while all of them distracted with the pale girl. She dropped to the ground and made a break for it. While the three of them were busy, she found Melanie stuck in the net. She hated to leave her behind and she stealthily ran.
She hoped that the other ape wouldn't see her. He was so gullible and dense.
