Venus stunningly didn't fight for him binding her and layimg her over his steed. She occasionally winced with each movement, especially during the bouncing on the way to the encampment. Venus laid there against the seat below her. Once at arrival she'd attempted a harsh jerk to get free, but proven to be useless. She observed the other girl getting shoved. Oddly it was gentle. After she was settled in the cage and he left. Venus rose up, resting against the barrier. There has to be a way out. But with what energy?

Galen nodded and urged the horse forward. It was easier using animal to animal to maybe stop her. He caught sight of her. "Oh come now. You'll tire yourself out if you keep this up!"
He gently prodded his horse forward to block her path, but she was so fast.

Carol saw the horse and the ape on top of it. She was getting tired, but her instincts- the ones that were dictating her every move were firing up. She hadn't felt like this in so long and then she misjudged her step and fell, taking a little tumble. She struggled to scramble and run at the same time.
"Go away! Leave me alone!" She screamed out in desperation and tears flooded her eyes as she ran.

Silas deeply inhaled, easing his grown anger to a more subtle ape. He was glad his partner was around to handle the two humans. It exceedingly stunned him that he was able to handle a ruthless human. Instead of congratulating him, he'd focus on the woman that bolted off. He wasn't as cruel as before, though was more mellowed.
He would take another route while Galen was secretly leading her to another direction. Galen wasn't dumb, he was clever in what he was doing. That's why he rather have a young ape, so they could learn and use it in the future. Galen seemed to retrieve quite an education. Silas was glad he didn't go to Bartu.
Suddenly, Silas stepped in front of where Carol bolted to. His large arms encased her, hauling her off the jungle ground. "Oh, ho! Where do you think you're going?" He teasingly called out, gently extending his arms to view her more. "You humans are quite the handful this time."

Carol had bolted into the arms of another ape. She struggled fruitlessly and her strength was not that strong as before. She squirmed, tried to get free. "Grrr. Let me go or else."

Galen was pleased that she had been herded right into Silas' arms. Well, the human was one not to give up. "I think Kratos will enjoy this one. I heard he's looking for a feisty singing human. Unless you want her?" He asked. "I'm ready for another human to hunt."

Silas felt more relieved after catching his human once again. What a great soothing feeling to accomplish, for once. Boy, would he be very upset if he failed? He honestly hated losing, especially int he ring. Failure is not something he can go through easily. One of the reasons he drinks.
He sighed, flipping her over his shoulders, then tapping her head lightly. "Now, now little human. It's all good," he whispered, trying to soothe the fidgetiness that Carol exposed with being caught. "we won't hurt you, in fact, your leg will be tended." He mentioned, shouldering his rifle, then walked away, figuring Galen would follow.
For Kratos? After all this trouble this ape went through. He shrugged. "I can think on that." He responded, not having a favor for Kratos. If he was asked to do something, he'd politely decline. He stopped, not believing what he heard. "Galen? Another." His head shook after gripping his forehead. "I'm out, I don't want to go anymore. You can."

"Then I'd be the only one here." He said. "Maybe some other time."
He figured it would be a good idea to have another hunting expedition some other time. He had a human, too. "I already have a human. I have the one in the cage who's her sister."

Carol was put over his shoulder and moaned. "No! Put me down! Put me down!" Carol found herself not really liking her situation. She didn't like looking down and now she was fidgeting more. "You're hurting me already!"

Silas nearly chuckled, a little amused by his partner's reply. "Um, no you wouldn't." His head gave to shakes. "You have our others in our hunting team, Rowan and Bartu." He mentioned, listening to Carol casual protest. He wasn't even bothered to it, like a parrot screeching for attention.
A different time? He looked up into the umbrella trees that shaded most of the sun. "I mean we could." His finger ran across the face of his chin. "Or, tomorrow?" He added another suggestion, lowering his head. "Unless you're completely finished here?" He wasn't sure.
Another holler came out of the girl's mouth. He sighed, heading back to the encampment at a smooth pace. "Listen little one, whether you like it or not, you're coming home with you." He strictly uttered, not caring if the other ape heard. "Calm, calm, shhh." He lightly patted her head, releasing soothing whispers.

Galen chuckled at Carol's attempt of getting attention and then nodded. Bartu and Rowan was still out there. "True. Maybe tomorrow. It's been a real good hunting day. And we need to stock up the cages. Rowan says they need more males. I think I heard of a site where there are human males. I'm beginning to think a female may be too much work and a male would be better." He said.

"Ow...My belly.. My belly...It hurts! Put me down! Put me down!" She couldn't believe that he wouldn't let her down and she didn't care about what he was talking about. "Ow." Then a dam burst and she was crying.

Silas continued on the way to the encampment, ignoring Carol's demands. Occasionally he'd patted her head, providing a few strokes to soothe her anxiety. He flung his eyes over at Galen. "That's because females are more potent to the human race. Maes, not so much. They rather have a large stock on males than females. Reason being higher chance the race has to repopulate."
His head turned towards the complaining woman. "We need special permits to go after humans, and are limited on the type of gender of each." He clarified, being educated from a few classes. "They rather you keep certain types of humans live over the other." He continued.
"They try to avoid females to be in the serious roles, like slavery or even a gladiator. Plus soldiers." He quietly added. "Which stunned me the type of human was in the ring. I hope no other exotics will be, like the adorable redhead I tried to outbid. Cute little creature." He smiled to himself, progressing further to the encampment.

"So they need like equal amounts. I thought all females couldn't bear young."
Galen noticed the human was crying, despite being patted on the head. He realized it wasn't anxiety or fear. It was pain. "Uh..shouldn't you pay attention to the human?" He asked. "I've never seen a human get red in the face before unless they were in pain and she's showing it." Galen was aware that many humans screamed or cried out in pain. "Maybe she got hurt in her stomach area by someone." Galen suggested.
"Hmm. So I see." He added as he followed to the encampment.

Carol was still crying, not at all in a comfortable position. Her face was turning beet red now, showing that what Galen said was true. And not one single ape was paying her any attention nor aware of her discomfort. She moved right off his shoulder and fell to the forest floor, landing on her side. At last!
The pain finally ebbed to a dull ache. But her whole body ached from the run.
