Galen nodded as he walked alongside him. "Yes. Even mine. She ran off the moment we left to secure the mounts. They seem to wait for the diversion and then flee."
Galen shook his head. "She had to have help. Someone who is very familiar with the way the Overlords think and act. I wonder if it's a renegade. I heard about them."
Galen narrowed his eyes. He caught an odor that familiar and one not so familiar. "I can smell my human near and another one that's not recognizable."

Silas rubbed the side of his neck, grimacing as he was told a theory by Galen. His head shook, "Galen, a diversion? I really don't doubt that" he bounced his sights at Galen, "I don't doubt if it was that annoying human." His hand dropped, arching his back backward. "Ugh, these creatures are starting to become a pain." He growled, whipping his back in place.
His hands rolled out, shrugging his shoulders. "Yes, very likely," he nodded, "that human is very bright, and so is another, but her schemes are more vicious." He shortly added, returning to walking off once more. "I promise you, I hope it's you that will punish, and not me when I discover them. I'm not going to be light." He mentioned, after insisting.
After the short talk with Galen, Silas continued to venture to where Venus had been pinned by the net. His fists curled, feet stomped, and loud huffs escaped the cruel tightened lips. It was clear this ape was vexed and hopes no foolish ape would provoke. It wouldn't be long until he had arrived.
He folded his arms, peering down at Venus who seemed to still try and escape, no surprise there. "Tsk...tsk," his head pivoted side to side. "You should give in." He insisted, intimidatingly walking closer to her head.
His large palms grasped the hefty bars to the net, and hauled them away, and off of Venus with ease. With swiftness, he grasped her collar, ruthlessly hauling her from the ground. A dark hazy glare pierced into Venus' violet-ish eyes. "Listen here, you pesky creature and you respond correctly. Did you have help in your little diversion? We located an ape with a severed arm, what's sad is this hunter is young," he snarled, bringing her closer to his face, "I'm viewing as you to commit, but you were over here."

Luckily for Melanie and Maxwell, they were both concealed and hidden. If Venus hid those little scalpels, then maybe there would be hope for her.
They needed to bolt before they were found.

Galen agreed. He hadn't punished his human, but he could sense his human somewhere. "I intend to punish her. Not too hard on her because punishing seems to do little to persuade her to behave." He answered.
Then he found her, up in a tree. "Get down here! Now!" And she wasn't alone. "Hey Silas. There's another near my human."

Venus glared once she noted the gladiator trainer stomping her direction. She about to leap up, and bolt into the depths of the jungle. However, she was hindered by Silas, and jerked his way. She was slightly intimidated, but glued her long glare at Silas. "You don't frighten me." She remarked, taking the blade she kept that was stolen hours ago. She ruthlessly jabbed it into his shoulder, instead of his visible neck.

Maxwell observed from the tree and frowned when the gorilla looked up. He had been silent and so had Melanie. The gorilla wouldn't try anything with them being so high up in the tree.
Maxwell looked down to Venus and frowned. He picked a 'coco-bean' and dropped it right onto Silas' head. So that Venus could get away.

Silas whipped his head back, growling, then gritting his fangs harshly to manage the harsh pierce into his side. The pain was so intense that he reluctantly released the young adult. As venus plumped onto the jungle floor, Silas thoughts on her faded, and focused on his fresh, harsh laceration.
Suddenly, he was banged on the peak of his head by a large cocoa bean. However, due to his massive form, it would have little effect. Instead, it only ticked him off. While his anger expanded, his deep pain diminished. "Argh!" He called out, purely vexed. He didn't care where it dropped from.
A cold, deadly scowl dug at Venus's eyes, or even fragile form if she bolted. He would use bolas to wrap around her ankles, or even roughly plucking her off the jungle floor if she remained frozen in freight. Silas at this height in anger doesn't care who's in his way to retrieve the humans.

Galen looked up and saw another male and his human. They were working together and then looked at Silas. Man that had to hurt. "You alright?"
"You there, help me with these two humans!" He called out to the waiting patrols. Unfortunately, he may have to shoot one of them. "Come down here or I'll shoot out the branch you're on and I don't care what happens to you both." He glared at the two humans still in the tree.
Four gorillas walked up to the tree, aiming their guns up to shoot out the tree limbs they were on. "Get down here or else they open fire."

Maxwell didn't believe the Overlords would really take him down. It was against the law to hurt another human. "It's against the law to hurt another ape's human." He said, picking another cocoa bean and throwing it down, providing an excellent distraction for Melanie to escape. But looking towards her, she had no where to go! This tree was a trap and seemed to be the only one in this area. Shoot.
"Besides, you should let the girl and I go. It's so simple." Maxwell spoke, while picking cocoa beans from the tree and throwing them onto some heads. It wouldn't do much except make them angrier and he was having them focus on him. If he did get them to look at him...Venus could leave.
Then he'd figure out how to get Melanie away. Then an idea occurred. "I enjoyed cutting the hand off the gorilla. It was so fun!" He smirked. "But he'll live. I am not stupid."

Melanie saw the guns being pointed and had a moment of panic. They were going to shoot them down?! They couldn't do that. She saw a branch and reached out for it. Well, it snapped and she cursed. She didn't want to climb down and face any ape's wrath. Grr...Why couldn't things be easier?
Then she saw another cocoa bean and threw it with all her might. It hit Silas right on the head again. "Hey, fat-head. Where you going?"

Venus fell onto the moisten jungle floor, her palms slapped into little puddles. Venus noticed the deadly rage expelling from Silas, and cowered her head into her shoulders. She's never witnessed such high intensity of vexation. There was no possible chance she would remain near that uncomfortable anger. She knew that deadly ape was going to be on her trail. She got thinking, why do it then? He will only catch up and likely bash you into the ground. Between the two choices, she decided to stay, avoiding further harm. Either decision was going to be disastrous anyway.

Maxwell couldn't help but chuckle at the girls' insults thrown to Silas It was downright funny and he admired her guts. She wasn't afraid to express an opinion or an insult to the apes. He had been ape-raised for a long time and no human had ever raised a voice to the apes. Hardly ever.
Maxwell liked Venus and didn't like to see her hurt either. If they distracted Silas from her, she may be able to escape. He threw a soft-rotted cocoa bean onto Silas' head again, it landed right on his head, and cracked open, spilling out it's contents and liquid oozed from the bean right onto his head, face, and his back.
If they found more rotten cocoa beans...it would be a great way to get them to be distracted more.

Silas fired his deadly gaze up at the defiant Overlord-raised human. He had not shaken his piercing scowl, especially when he was aware that his rival below him, had not been brave enough to bolt. That's what he believes anyways. He easily maneuvers as the snobbish human tossed more. He was already overseeing.
"Illegal? You're not even owned by any, you're wild, free game." He darkly cackles at the man's threats. "That one besides you is his, so I'd advise you to obey, or get shot. Actually, Galen, just take fire." He suggested, focusing back on Venus.
His rage mellowed some, but still was raging high. His impish, cold glare darted down at Venus. He didn't hesitate to pluck her roughly from the ground, and slowly brought her to his evil face.
"You have been an issue ever since we've located you, and caught you." He growled, revealing his fangs. One hand grasped the impaled blade and brought the bloody metal to her neck. "You want to get dirty, I'll play back." He warned, tossing her to the floor and the small knife. "Come at me."

Galen aimed his gun directly to Maxwell. "I have no qualms in killing humans. Especially traitors." He growled. "And I have been gentle, kind, and accommodating to that female. But no. You have to be a nuisance. A trouble to our backside. Maybe I should just shoot the both of you and call it a night." He threatened darkly. "We deal with nuisances in target practice. At ready..."
Every ape aimed their weapons, the hunters realized that Galen was resorting to his military training. "Aim to the left of them. Do not hit the humans-"
All the hunters aimed to the left of the humans. "You have 10 seconds to comply or you're both are going to be brought down forcefully."

"Don't listen to him, Gorilla. It's true. I'm an Overlord-raised human. I live in a village full of Overlords. They let me out since I'm chipped. You shoot me, you're in trouble. Don't hurt the girl." He was holding on tightly to the limb. "If you shoot, we'll fall to our deaths! Have a heart!"
Maxwell wasn't sure that was going to help at all.
