"I'm only doing my job and if I don't..I lose my job and I cannot afford to lose my job or my title. They investigate."
Serenity noticed. "You should have used the sedation method before opening the cage. The human got away." She remarked. "Each cage has a gas that puts humans to sleep. When they wake, they'll either drink or eat when they wake up."

Melanie knew what she was talking about and nodded in agreement. "Ooh...the other human got away." She whispered. "I hope she frees all of us." Melanie was whispering, but if they all got away- the one watching them would get angry if they ever tried that stunt. She didn't want to be separated from Carol.
They would both try to fight the separation. Being too apart far too long and they were developing a deep fond bond in the small amount of time they were together.

Cobra didn't expect to get turned down on his great offer. His hands flipped at him. "Fine, fine, I can ask another person." He snorted, peering over at Galen and the vet. "I'm sure someone is going to take the offer." He snickered. "You're a fool to declining Gladiator Trainer." He mentioned. In honesty, Cobra was bluffing on the price.
He'd been watching while adjusting the child on his shoulders. A cold, amusing snicker seeped out, humorous by foolish apes. Cobra didn't even bother to go after the human gladiator. Perhaps she returns to the wilds she's up for grabs. But it would be hard for her to leave an encampment.
For a moment he looked at the vet. "I'm tagging the child, and simply returning him to the wilds."

Silas sighed, brushing his hand across the top of his head. He didn't realize the vet was on a tight rope with his overseers. "Uh, I didn't realize, just sometimes apes go into cages without the knowledge of what fresh catch humans do." He glanced over at Venus for a moment. "Especially ones that were very feral." He very quietly added, drifting his eyes over at Serenity.
He leaned onto the transparent door to Melodies' cage. A slight frown slowly created on his lips. "Look, Serenity, that exotic human that you were going to check, as it was required. Well, she is very crafty, while sly." He gladly enlighted at Serenity from his recent happenings with the human.
The helper was intently caught off guard when the metal object bashed his face. He expected Venus to be heavily sedated, unable to move much. Well, he will in the future definitely be prepared. How foolish of the ape to not listen to the vet beforehand.
"Ack!" He screeched, falling to his knees. His palms desperately brushed his ring-formed bruise that dressed around his left eye. That little albino brat was going to get it! That's if he recovers from the intense sting.
Silas heard the painful yelp behind him, alerting him there was an issue. He growled, firing his head over his shoulders, scowling at the scene. He gritted, eyes clouding with rage. He couldn't believe that Venus escaped. His hand rose in the air. "Human escaping!" He called out, alerting the other apes. He'd wish he had his horn but was on his steed.

"Tagging a human child?"
"I've seen most of them sleep throughout the process of examination. It's only those that are truly hurt they cannot really do anything. That's why I have a team with me everywhere I go. This way, they're overpowered and unprepared." Then she cast a look over to his two humans. One of them was remarking something.
Then she heard a painfilled yelp and looked. The albino was leaving. Oh shoot. That wasn't her fault. She must have been acting drunk and fooling them. "Fudge! That albino has nowhere to go." Many apes gave chase.
Then she noticed that the ape was injured and walked over to see if he was alright.

Galen went after Venus and so did a few of the gorillas.
The gorillas were on horseback, knowing that she was heading to the forest. They followed her.
Galen leaped from tree to tree, tailing her.

Venus heard the thundering hooves behind her. Yes, yes, how perfect. She broke into a stop as a horse was approaching. Timing it just right she leaped onto the saddle. Using one hand in her grasp of the bowl, coldly threw at the head of the ape. Then slowly climbed up the saddle.

The ape fell, unconscious after being hit by the bowl.
Galen not missing a beat, flew from the tree and smacked her off the horse. He immediately backhanded her face, enough to make her think that her actions were punishable and then tied her hands together with a strong rope. He also knew he couldn't use all his strength. Then he secured her legs. He glared at her as he whistled for the horse.
The others didn't waste any time surrounding her. Galen had never been known to lose his temper, but he was just as cruel as any other. "A mistake that won't happen again." He growled.

Silas would have tailed the foolish albino, but Galen's statement on the entire basecamp was filled with other apes, had Silas preventing, as Galen was highly correct. It would take a miracle for a slippery human to escape the entire encampment. How could you avoid trained hunters, with most enjoying hindering bolting humans? Part of the fun at times.
He smirked, observing Galen make haste in the trees after the human. Such an excellent partner Galen was, very keened for his age. Very crafty at his hunting, not to mention very alert. Actually, he was more observable than Silas, which would be stunning, as Silas was a trained to handle vicious, and tough humans.
His palm rose in front of the vet while smiling with confidence. "I wouldn't too much, that human maybe keened in her thoughts and actions. But she's completely surrounded, especially with my partner pursuing her." He dropped his hand. After he swiftly glanced at Carol, then the vet again. "Perhaps, while thrilled hunters chase that troubled gladiator, how about you work on Carol? She was complaining about pains when I returned." He wisely informed. "I don't think she will be trouble."
Tagging a child? Serenity was correct, that's insane and odd. He shook his moment with his eyes closed, being puzzled. "Wait, for what? You're already ruthless towards your humans, but why a child?" He questioned too.

"Galen isn't going to let a valuable human go especially with her rarity." Serenity paused. "Pain is a sign of injury."
She hurried inside the cage, giving Melanie something like a piece of candy. Something distracting. She smiled at Carol. "Hello, young one. Let's take a look at you. Lay down and don't move. This won't hurt."

Carol was hesitant on having anyone touch her no less examine her. She slid forward and lay down on her back which did not feel good on the glass. Her breathing was coming in ragged breaths and she wished she was lying on a soft surface. The cage was too hard for her to even lay on.

Serenity noticed and started to use a device to scan her. "How the heck are you even able to run?! Silas? This girl has numerous fractures, healing bones, and looks like she's been involved in a fight with a branch." Serenity mended each of the girls' injuries that were easy to get to, but the healing bones would take time. "I'd really think she needs to be resting on a cushioned surface than a glass surface."

Venus didn't expect to be viciously forced out of the saddle. As usually, it worked many times, but it seems this particular ape was more wise then the others she encountered in the jungles. She yelped at the harsh bash into the side, then slammed into the mossy jungle floor. Wasn't as bad as landing on wood chips or dirt. Moss was at least partially soft. She was disoriented for a moment, even after slowly rising. Then, a cold whip to the cheek from Galen's hand. Another yelp came out, her face harshly turned. The stinging sensation caused her to freeze, as she was bound by hands in feet. What that going to stop her? No. While he whistled for the horse, and was barricade by apes, she wouldn't give in. Hastily, she removed her boots from her feet, using her bound hands to remove it over her feet, she wasn't too worried about her hands.

Silas warmly observed the sweetness towards these humans, despite their wildness. He hadn't realized Serenity was kinder than a majority of apes towards the intriguing creatures. She sure had a bright scheme to ease the frightened creatures, as well get some to trust her. If he knew about Serenity's gentleness, he would have easily agreed for her to check his injured human.
Silas's ears perked at the few yelps. He was familiarized with those painful screeches, but he didn't go over to check. Instead, he smirked, knowing she was apprehended. Especially, from his partner. Silas would need to reward Galen greatly, but first, he needs to learn what the skilled, young hunter enjoys and likes.
After the yelp mellowed, he ventured his victorious pupils back over at the two girls. Slowly, he approached the cage, though not too close to disturb the vet. His kind smile grew a little bit, enjoying her unique ways to the girls. He was stunned because Carol would freak, then again she was roughed handled.
