Allie was put into a cage gently. However, his gentleness was just a facade. She gritted her teeth, hoping he would just leave her alone. Her face belied pain.

Serenity gave a smile and went ahead inside the cage. There was no mistaking the look of pain. Apart from the bruise on her face, that would heal in time. Serenity took out a scanner and began to scan. She was healing the wounds on her legs. Then she scanned upwards to her abdominal area and frowned deeply. She took away her scanner and restarted it. Then she scanned again and again. "You're pregnant with child." She frowned and noticed that Bartu was still there. As she scanned, her, she noted her body was preparing to abort. Taking a human that wasn't yours wasn't a good thing. Serenity considered the risks of losing her job.
Should she tell Bartu or would he care or know she had been carrying. Didn't she even know?
"Did you know?"

It happened to be Carol's cage that became affected by the sleeping gas. She yawned and began to fall asleep.

And the cage Melanie had once occupied before being put into Carol's cage exploded.
Melanie also felt sleepy and laid next to her sister. She fell asleep as well.

Galen narrowed his eyes at Venus' escape once again as Bartu entered with a new human. He was going to see if the seasoned hunter would go after Venus. Little goes past Bartu. Then Melanie's cage changed from warm orange to hot red before exploding, and Carol and her sister were fast asleep in a shared cage. The other humans, he noticed were showing signs of panic. He also was relieved that Melanie wasn't cooked.

He walked over to the refreshments and grabbed a few of them. That's when he heard everything going on and dropped his items onto the table. He attempted to calm the panicked humans who were trying to get out of their cages. One of them turned hot red and then it exploded.
"The human just escaped over there." Then he saw that two humans were sleeping. He rushed over to the cage and stopped the flow of gas from entering. He opened the door and dragged them out into the fresh air. He went from cage to cage making sure that each of them were ok. Some he had to open and check them.
Then he oversaw the two humans asleep. "They're out like a light."

Cobra was observing the albino from a fair distance to avoid suspicions on him. He smirked, amused, observing the different attempts that Venus had done. This creature was very determined and wouldn't stop at anything until she's succeeded in whatever she was driven to do. His brows rose, she was actually bashing an electric panel with metal! How silly, could fry her.
His amusement grew as the foolish gorilla left the door opened, and Venus easily departed. He didn't even go after, he'd figure she'd get catch this time or someone go after. He shrugged, walking over to the hunting group. "I take it none of you can handle your cages well?" He snorted, continuing to stroll. "The younger hunters seem more bright than the older!"

Galen wasn't about to run after the human. She had already had proven that she was relentless and every thing they did, she seemed to be on top of her game. He also noticed that no one went after her. He grumbled under his breath, shaking his head. The albino needed to be secured better. Then he thought of the controls. "Might I suggest a metal cage without controls?!" He asked as he went after the Albino once again.
She had a head start.

Rowan pulled the two sisters back into their cage. They would be asleep for a long time.
Then he helped Galen pursue the runaway human, this time on horseback. The human may have had a head start. But they could smell her scent. It wasn't hard to pick up. She was going to get it. Then a few other hunters followed them. "That human is going to get it."

Bartu observed the vet for a minute, then glimpsed over at the hunting group that agreed to join on. Though, was curious why split up? It's a group hunt?! He shrugged as his mind floating with questions. He sighed, dropping his strong focus on his mind. He looked back but spotted the flash of white. He didn't bother to focus as the word from the vet alerted him. His brows furrowed, peering down at the vet. "Pregnant?" He muttered. "But, how? I mean not 'how' but how around these parts where the virus mainly broke out." He scratched his head. "Of course not, she didn't even look it. Besides her being with child was the last thing on my mind, because the rare ratio."

Venus bolted out as soon as she got the clearance that the ape was down. Despite knowing if she was being tracked, she'd already would figure, anyway. Her eyes wandered through the camp, spotting various humans, and even a few hunters with their mounts, some guiding them. Perfect. She leaped onto the back of the horse. Of course, the steed would freak, and broke into an intense gallop, harshly ripping the reins from the gorilla. She'd grip onto the reins around the horses' face. Of course the swiftness, was quite the struggle to remain on without the main grip.

The vet glanced at him. "I don't think she knew she was pregnant. She may not have had any signs or symptoms of pregnancy. As for the virus, it may have skipped this human. The human will lose her young. From the scan, she was a couple of months into her pregnancy." Serenity then gave him the worst news. "She has gone into labor and I'll have to help her in private."

Silas frowned, being remorseful towards the two girls, not realizing they were in various of pains, and injuries. He scratched the back of his head, noticing these could easily be created by the wilds. It's very deadly through the jungle, but these creatures seemed to adapt well. He dropped his hand, observing a little, then noticed Galen had returned.
"Thank you, you're a great partner." He sweetly complimented, then listened to the vet further. Basic injuries? Not the severe or horrid? He grimaced, despising to take humans to vets because it normally meant he would get hollered out by the owners when it wasn't his doing. Well, his own human was a different view. Sadly, he was neglectful on certain injuries.
He glimpsed over to Venus, pondering. "Hey, Serenity, if you could only fix the basic, and not the severe then why was that albino be able to escape, be roughly apprehended, and continue to fight?" his eyes wandered down to Carol. "And her, she was relentless."
The suggestion brought out by Serenity broke out a disgusted cringe. "Really?" He muffled. "I'm not returning home for a while, besides my Queen is arriving. He had noted the other two apes that were part of their hunting had returned. Only one human? How odd. As they were returning, he, too detected another escape, but this one caused more havoc to the cages.
His head dropped into his palm, releasing an irritated deep sigh. He shot up after the close cage shattered. Shards scattered in random directions, penetrating anything soft in its path. Defiantly a few impaled the irked gladiator trainer."Ack! Ohooo." He hollered at the pierces along his thick skin, then grimaced in anger more than pain.
While the two bolted out to once again retrieve the albino that was causing more issues. He hunched over for a moment, then rose again. He directed a finger. "You! Hunters go and inspect every cage that had exploded with a possibility being severely injured...injured." After, he fled after the albino, ticked at her clever, but ruthless escape. "I'll help get that dam Gladiator..." he sprinted, then leaped into the trees. The jungle limbs were much easier than on foot.

Serenity believed that the humans were relying on adrenaline. "Nikita. They have something called adrenaline. When they fear something they don't know or are being pursued, this hormone is released. The hormone makes them forget their pain for the entire time they're trying to flee. As for Carol, she had the adrenaline coursing through her body because she was trying to flee from you. She believed you were out to harm her. Humans are mysterious creatures and to keep running with the amount of injuries Venus has, those injuries will become worse and deadly even. She could wind up paralyzing herself if she doesn't stop running away. Her injuries can paralyze her from the neck down. I can only heal surface injuries with my tools. Internal injuries closer to vital organs require a more specialized touch." She explained.
Serenity was good at her job. "I'm what is known as a field medic. I only treat surface injuries, report my findings to the specialists in the city. I usually leave the care of the humans to their owners and it's actually their responsibility to bring their injured humans into Central City Vet for a complete operation or re-set."
Then she excused herself and went back to Bartu's human who would need help. "Bartu ? Did you shock her or stress her out in anyway?" Regarding Allie.
The humans seemed unharmed, being in the other cages. The two sleeping humans were fine.

Bartu continued to elevate his brows. He couldn't believe what he was actually hearing. A pregnant human? He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I, uh, of course not I didn't know. Who would if she didn't?" He shook his head. "No, if you do it in private, it won't help much. Rush her over to Central City. " He suggested, but was more of an order.
