Venus rose a brow, sealing an eye as she motioned back to view what Arnie was doing. Her eyes peeled wide, forming a vicious smile. Oh yes, the sight of the arson was magnificent. She's view plenty of weapons at once, but an isolated human? Now that wasn't very common. She winced as Maxwell took the gun, even backed away from where he directed the tip. "Ack...you might want to practice first, or you'll easily miss." She walked in front of the cabinet, skimming through the options. Despite what Arnie said, she retrieved a variety of blades. "Unless you don't know how to use them correctly." She placed the tip of the knife to her finger, lightly twisting it. "Who is this Caser? Sounds foolish with his saying."

"Uh..." Maxwell drawled. "I'd better not. I'm not capable of handling a gun." He gave it back to Arnie. "I'm sorry. But I'm not a good aim."

Arnie took back the gun and placed it back into the weapons cache. "Well, if you say so."
Arnie shook his head. "He's the King of the Renegades." He finally said. "He's against the Overlords. He's enlisted me as a spy along with Melody. This is actually her house. But it's got its uses and what's good? The Overlords can't access the weapons cache even if they tried."
He smiled.

Venus snorts, coldly smiling over at Maxwell as he was anxious. "So use a targeted gun. you easily aim where the laser points, and lock on. Not really that hard." She returned eyeing the weapons. She decided on a gun, but it wasn't something to have against other guns. She placed the sniper on her back. "Mm, King of the Renegades huh, even against overlords? What a shame they're occasionally opponents in an unfair fight," she informs. "Where does this human king live?" She wasn't aware it was an ape."So, where is she then?"

"I may have one of those." Arnie offered to Maxwell. "Like point and click."
Then he glanced over at Venus. "He lives in the forbidden zone somewhere. His base of operations is a major secret and so is his palace. He helps many people in need. He takes in every Renegade and humans are most welcome." He frowned because she didn't know that he was an ape. "Actually..." He trailed off in thought. "Have you ever heard any of the Overlords mention him in passing? Or any other humans mentioning him? He's but the greatest ruler the Renegades have. Nothing seems to make him afraid. He's so brave. Maybe one day you'll meet him."
Then. "Oh. She works at Warrens, the pet store. She tries to take a note on how many humans come into her store. Then sends reports to King Caesar."

"Point and click? Sounds like it's easy enough for a 'dim-wit' like me to use." He had never used the term 'dim-wit' before and it seemed alright to use. This wasn't something he did every day. "I never used a weapon before. Not even a knife."

One of the patol's smacked the other one across the head by a slick, gloved hand. "Really?! What human would be dumb enough to leap into that deadly river?" His finger bolted forward, continuing to growl, "There's a vicious waterfall after, cascading down to jagged rocks. They'd die instantly."
The other snorts, leaping away after he was smacked. "That wasn't necessary. You annoy me." His eyes traveled over where they other one pointed. His eyes rolled. "So, the other option is checking different houses. I'll start," he clarifies, strolling to the one closest.
The one that pointed, strolled over to the one Aaron, Venus, and Maxwell were hiding. He carefully, but roughly pounded on the metal door. "Excuse me?! I wish to speak to the head of the household."

Arnie was about to reply something when he heard someone pounding on the metal door and ushered them into a room and closed the arms cabinet. He walked to the door and asked, "Who is it?" Through the door.

The patrol rolled his eyes, a little bothered on why couldn't they simply open the door like most civilians. She lightly became suspicious. She allowed her partner to speak up.
"This is the CCP, and we have a few questions that will please us if you answered," he replies, stepping a foot back for Arnie to open the door. If he does.

Arnie opened the door a little. He also was considered ape-raised. "Hello?" He was nervous. "Something I can help you with?" He also knew the two humans were hidden. They had to be because they were both silent.

Maxwell stayed quiet as he listened to the voices. He hoped they wouldn't find them. If they were found, it would mean that Arnie would also be trialed and probably put on display somewhere. He shivered. Would that happen to him, too? Would they sentence him? It was only his first offense and he didn't know what to expect. He had never been in Central City before and wondered if it would be easier to comply than to run? No! Wait...They have him on attempted murder charges-- that would be a whole different verdict.
Maxwell rubbed his forehead as he thought about this 'Caesar'. Who was he? Was he 'much better' than Kratos? He didn't know what the 'Renegades' were. Would they think of him the same way?

Venus kept her body low, perking her ears at the conversation between the apes and Arnie. She could sense the scared tension on Maxwell. Sweetly, she placed her palm on his knee cap. "Shh... Apes can sense fear." She murmured for his ears only. She firmly observed the two, ready to act if they needed to bolt.

Maxwell nodded, trying not to show any fear. If they sensed fear, what would they do ape raised law abiding citizens? If Arnie for instance, was an 'ape-raised' human. He tried to stop thinking about that. He couldn't think straight because he had all these questions.
Although he was an ape-raised human, maybe it differed in various parts of the country. He wasn't well versed in Central City's laws and rules. Nor was he versed in the city's way of doing things. He only knew what his village did and how they handled ape-raised humans. Maybe he was thinking too much about this?

The bulkier guard narrowed his eyes, watching the nervous human be suspicious. He placed his gun back into the sheath, then furled his arms. His partner would look past the human, scanning his eyes around the background. Each noted the odd behavior in Arnie's motion.
The larger ape smirks, amused by Arnie's odd behavior. "We, are searching two fugitives, they were seen last in this area. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you? I know you humans like to keep each other safe, regardless of title." He snorts.
The vapid ape eased his sights as he could inhale other presences nearby. He had already detected Arnies', but two others lingered. He wouldn't pipe in just yet.
"Why are you nervous?" the taunting gorilla moves closer. "Did something wrong?"

Arnie breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh. I was watching a horror movie - and jumped when I heard your knock." He explained. "I wasn't really expecting any company this evening."
He loved horror movies and enjoyed the thrill of them. He wasn't sure if they would buy his reasoning. "You ever watch any horror movies that makes you jump with fright? Or surprise? Or suspicion?" He asked.
