Maxwell found himself nodding, but then falling into a deep slumber. He just couldn't seem to move or do anything. His head landed on the ground. Luck was on his side because his head didn't land in a puddle near him.

Silas was very glorified as to finding the two, yet irritated they had escaped earlier. No matter, both in the arena for their crimes. That's what Silas believed anyway, not caring for their state of condition. He didn't want the council to deal with them. They're 'his' humans after all. Free game right now.
Silas was pierced by the stun. With the rain, it increased rapidly. He fell to his knees, snarling. His eyes sparkled in wicked glee at Maxwell that fell down. "You're mine now." He grunted, slowly rising back up.
"No!" He hollered out, crawling swiftly over to the edge where Venus had leaped in. No one could survive that? Could they. He angrily snagged on the edge of the surface. The electric shocks eased down. "Gah!"
His deadly glare rested on Maxwell, who was out. "You seem important. Wanting to return to rescue? Sounds like someone has feelings." He snorts, rising up and walked over to Maxwell. "I'll use as bait."
Silas grasped Maxwell and swung him over his shoulder, then walked over to Arnie.

Arnie came around and sat up, rubbing his face. He didn't know that Maxwell had such a punch. He did ask for to be punched so that it would look like he had been attacked as well as the other patrol apes. One was dead by a bullet wound. He could tell that it wasn't his fault for Venus' actions.
That's when he heard footsteps and Arnie, not wanting to be included in that, began towards his house.

Brutus was electrified from the unexpected shot to his abdomen. Luckily when he collapsed, he wasn't in the rain. He fell onto the flooring off the house. He grunted, rolling onto his back. In his view he spotted two humans running, and another stumbling.
He gradually rose back to his feet, while heading loud commotion distances away. He peers down, noting a lifeless body. He frowned for a moment, then glared.
He wobbled to the outside, rain remaining to pour. With his rage, he didn't care. He wasn't aware that Silas was there until he spotted the two humans. One foolishly leaped into the river. "Gah! Just kill that pest! Alive or not, they're murderers!" He hollered, baring his fangs.
He grappled Arnie dragging him close. "You better bring that fugitive in, or I'll arrest you for harbouring a fugitive." He snorts, dragging Arnie with him. "I taken this suspect to the station."

Arnie was stumbling and rubbing his cheek as he had been punched. The station was - a bad idea. But Arnie began to feel he wouldn't make it out tonight or the next. Or the next. He'd be sentenced to death and he didn't want to die. He needed to think of a way out of this and to keep his head.
He knew they loved to prey on fright and nervousness. Arnie was coming up with an excuse. If they felt he harbored fugitives, it was already - going to be one long night and he'd not go back to the house. Oh brother. He'd have no options whatsoever or any choices because he had a feeling that Kratos would sentence him to a death sentence. There was no way of talking out of this situation, was there?
Arnie knew he had no chance. If he was found out about his ties with Caesar, it was over anyway.

No one, not anyone threatens the mighty Silas. How dare this angry gorilla, that is a mere patrol of the city. Quite humorous really. Then again it was his job. Was Silas going to obey? Maybe.
Silas ruthlessly scowled at Brutus after he shifted around. He couldn't believe this little patrol was actually commanding. "You're going to arrest me for actually catching something you couldn't? Well, I'd like to see you try." he snorts, walking to the edge of the river.
"Go retrieve!" He ordered very coldly. He grappled Maxwell's collar, and ruthlessly tossed him in the viscous currents. "The other one is likely dead." He snarls, turning to face Brutus. "Better take that one to the station."

Maxwell felt ice cold pricks all over his body and before he knew it, he was awake. Maxwell's problems just started to begin. Firstly, he couldn't swim and being dragged through the vicious currents knocked him around, and sputtering. Maxwell closed his eyes as another vicious current pulled him under.
Maxwell didn't surface again.
