Silas was uselessly knocked on the head by a stone. Sure it smacked his forehead good. Did it bother him? Yes. But pain? Nah. Just more ticked off. He hadn't left his upper perch, not yet anyways. He watched the two scurry away, he did not persue. It didn't take too long until two guards chase them down.
Silas skillfully climbed down the higher place, silently strolling over, with his back arched. He observed from the darkness that overpowered the fading light. The rain pounded on his lightly glowing suit, and fur.
He continued to journey through the shadows, secretly inching closer. If the two were hiding in, he wanted to take them personally. Was he going to return them? Probably not. He had vicious plans for them.

"Then again..." Arnie said. "I once watched a movie where an Orangutan starred in a horror movie. He was so big that they called him King Kong." Kratos.

The two lowered their weapons, placing them in the holister. Both glanced to each other, then on Arnie. The larger patrol remained having suspicions, as their was two other scents. Therefore, he wasn't done asking.
The huskly ape furled his arms, leaning on the door. "This late? I can see you're scare, and enjoy such a genre." His eyes narrowed. "Did you have any company before?" His eyes intensed.
The other, completely mellow shook his head. "Now, Brutus, there's nothing wrong here. So, let's go, and search somewhere else." he insisted, walking backwards.

Arnie shook his head. "No company. Just myself and one of those movies is at least four hours long." He was getting suspicious about the questions. There was no other apes in the house and that he was the only one present. "I wasn't keeping track of time half the time I watch them. It's about a plane disappearing into a warp and end up in the past. The passengers on board begin learn about these creatures that eat the past."
Arnie believed he was believable. But the apes may not believe him because they were becoming suspicious and he didn't know if they smelled something in the house that was different or not.

The suspicious ape continued to hold his ground. He did not want to shake the feeling, but mostly the scent of others. Arnie's answers only solidified the suspicions. There's other scents and this human had no visitors. That's beyond off. He stepped closer, gently grasping his shirt. He dragged him out in the rainy outside. "You have other human scents in there, and you have no one that visited!"
The other stepped away deciding not to interfere with Brutus's thoughts. He could view why he did not step down. He didn't smell the other scents.

Arnie was dragged out into the rain- and felt himself getting soaked and cold. Well, if he caught a cold...that would take him at least 7 days to get over it. He noticed the other one walking away and rolled his eyes. "Are you catching something? If you're getting sick, everything's off." Arnie was convinced that the ape may be catching a cold. "There's a cold going around. Maybe you caught it."

Venus winced as she noticed the one patrol increasing his suspicions, while the other seemed more relaxed. She peered to the side at Maxwell. "We might need to fire at each. I can do both, but we're in a bad spot." She uttered a throw together plan. "Yikes. That one is relentless, and Arnie is failing to draw their attention away. Okay, we seriously have no choice, unless you have a better plan?" She asked, prepping the blade.

Maxwell whispered, "He's trying, but that one is relentless. Let's hope that Arnie knows what he's doing." He hoped so as he drew his own weapon. The thought of going back into the council room brought a little shiver to his spine. There was no telling what they would do. Bloodthirsty apes. He never knew or thought they would be this way. He'd keep his thoughts to himself.

Arnie followed on his tail. "Hey...Don't spook my two hamsters! You'll scare them both. Maybe that's what you're smelling. Two hamsters with a smell of aspen bedding. He attempted to persuade the patrolman that. If he could distract him further and persuade him that there were no humans except him and his hamsters.
"They're teddy bear hamsters. Benny and Joon." He continued.

Maxwell made sure his weapon was ready and rushed out of the room. He attempted to shoot one- but his weapon was only on stun. He didn't want to kill and to prove that he wasn't an actual killer. "One down. One to go."

Venus didn't expect Maxwell to fire. She wanted him to release the bullet on her mark. Boy she was caught of guard. She immediately fired through the sniper, impaling the bullet into the ape's head. Without a moment to think, she darted out with a blade in her grasp. "Arnie you might want to scurry, or report this." She added, before getting through the door. She'd expect Maxwell to follow.

Arnie:
"I can't scurry. Go...Run..." Arnie said. "I have to draw their attention from you." He whispered. "Hit me." He told Maxwell.
Maxwell:
Maxwell punched him in the head and watched him fall to the ground, knocked out. Then he scurried after Venus. But he felt someone watching him, even as he ran. The rain might make everything smell fresh. And plus, it'd wash everything off. Including his dirt.

Sila perked an eager ear over to the shot fired. It might have been silent to the human ears' but, not for him. It almost shielded out the noise by the pounding rain, and distance. His eyes scanned intently over to Arnie's home. What he noted was going to anger, yet satisfies him. He wanted solid proof they linger in there.
Silas drew out his crossbow painted with a serum to knock them out. He halted for a moment, watching the two fugitives bolted off, and Arnie collapsing. Really? Why would they hit the one that supposedly helps them?
He returned to observing the two scurrying away to freedom. A vicious, intimidating scowl emerged. "Hunting time," he coldly whispered, bolting after the two. As he grew a fair distance, he fired to bolts at the two. Even with the rain, he knew the conditions to fire. "Why are you running?!" he taunted. "here doggie, doggie."

Maxwell heard a taunting voice and spun around. He let off a stun shot towards Silas. He hoped it struck him first- but then something struck him. He gave Venus cover. "Run! Go Venus! Save yourself!" He fell to the side and attempted to crawl. It seemed that his body was getting heavy and he was getting sleepy. The rain made everything heavy from being heavily drenched.

Venus gritted her teeth very hard to the point a few teeth ached. She came to a sliding pause, nearly falling off the slick surface. She glimpsed down, Maxwell roughly ordered to go further. She winced, hearing the deadly river nearby. She glimpsed back down at Maxwell. He'd drown for being too sleepy and having weak limbs. "I'll come back to free you." She uttered. Her scowl grew as she leaped backwards into the tumbling river.
