Elisabeth looked at Nikita as she had taken her leash off. She was surprised but was she really a honorable loyal pet? She didn't know what that was. She had earned some kind of recognition. But not in the negative press. Then a frown played around her lips as the press came towards them. All of them- wanting to get a bit of the 'human pet' and whatever juicy lie they could come up with.
Elisabeth swallowed and took refuge behind Nikita, to avoid them. They wouldn't hesitate to stress her out more and she was so afraid to be questioned 20 questions. She glanced over to Titus.
-0-
Titus rushed to meet them. "No comments at this time. This is still an area that is restricted." Fortunately, he found his dark aura of being brutal was non-existent around members of the ape community. Titus didn't answer any questions. Especially about the human. "No comments." He said after the tenth question. He would not answer. Instead, he gestured to a patrol. "We need a barrier to prevent the press."

The authorities had already been alerted once a few apes scattered. It wouldn't take long for them to be notified. A few were already in their vehicles with lunch, or even on their break. Of course, it isn't every day you hear a royal ape threatening a peaceful train station. Some didn't attend as they were snotty and believe they could finish their break. Those kinds of apes are fired.
During the long 30-45 minutes of repair. The road on the way there was beyond block from frightened citizens hastily trying to free the area. They would try to go into the emergency lane, but that was at times being used. Sadly, these authorities would take a bit before actually arriving to take action.
Finally, everything is clearing and the apes leaving. A few patrol cars arrive and didn't hesitate to break through the massive appalled crowd. All they had to do was reveal their badge, and they fled. If that wasn't bad, the press was trying to question some. One did.
They lined up, elevating their deadly guns, and directed to Nikita. "Freeze! Just, drop to the ground slowly with your paws on your head." he strictly instructs. "Put the child on the side."
Another got out cuffs, ready to approach.

Titus managed to handle the reporters, but the patrol wouldn't listen to him so he stepped in front of Nikita, Elisabeth, and her child. "Stop. I can explain this situation out." Titus surely rarely ever had to intervene. "This ape had no choice but to pull her weapon out to - tell the apes boarding and already boarded apes and human pets that something was wrong with the trains- and they would not listen to her. She did what she had to do."
A conductor that had saw the entire ordeal. "This ape's human had been very uneasy. Even when I was going up the aisle. She was talking about a smell. Most humans cannot smell anything. Are dense, dumb, dimwitted. This human wasn't settling down, was visibly upset."
Titus continued, "I arrived and had a crew inspect the trains. The human is correct. The trains were leaking two different combustible materials. One was fuel and the other was something that's known as 3D43. It's a chemical that is considered a lubricant. But if mixed, could be lethal and would create an internal combustion fire underneath all the passengers, and exploding the engine compartment, causing an instant derailing." Titus said, "This human just saved me a ton of expensive lawsuits from ape families and saved all of my staff workers."

Elisabeth groaned. "Oh please! Leave her alone!" Of course, peering out from behind her, she could see that they were armed and have guns aimed in her direction. "Geez! It was all me! Not her!" She would take all the blame. "It's all of my fault! Take me, instead of her." She was deaf, but she clearly didn't want Nikita to go to prison, again.
Another thought happened, if she went, she'd be sent to the cages and sold. And what about her child? She was looking a little out of her element. She knew that if she went to the bodyguards, they'd make her life even more miserable. "She was just protecting everyone. Honestly."

Nikita couldn't believe how vapid this country was. Seriously? She aided apes by the desperate warning from her human. How can these patrols not view the understanding, but judge on what apes were saying? This was crazy. Back at home, they would have praised the heroes involved, and not place them under arrest.
Alva and Elisabeth just might have day to day nightmares, especially the little one. She should have left them back at home. Silly, and foolish of her to bring them along. She wished the two couldn't witness it. She places her palm over Elisabeth as she hides. Do you blame her? No, she's been harassed by apes.
This time, Nikita was going to defend herself as she could picture doing prison time. Mind as well does something. "I will not. Back in my country, we would praise the heroes, even apes around would. No, you rather view the threat, then open your eyes to the good part."
She observes Titus continue to defend the two. He was a dedicated, protective chimp. She peers down, over at him. Glad he was for fighting the truth. Other apes would be sheep in a fold, following each other, and not being different. Titus was. He and his conductor were.
Then her own pet defended her. WHy? Because she took action? She glances down, using her free hand to stroke her. "No, no ELisabeth you are not to blame the entire thing. You warned, I took action. but no, they rather view the wrong." she sighs. "I know what we were doing, protecting, saving lives, and griefs of other families."
She glared, stepping closer to law enforcement. "Would you rather have these apes die? Creating grief and loss to their loved ones? If you plan to make this foolish decision. no one, in the future would do it, because of your actions today. I advise you to not take action in such a negative way. You might just have future people not take action, resulting in many deaths."

The patrols slightly came closer, ready to arrest the Queen, not caring about what heroic thing they had done, but the violence she had acted on. One of the smaller ones walks over to the edge with his pistol directed to Nikita. She had no gun, so they could move in. But, they will not because the child had been in the way.
They did not lower their weapons, though, adjusted their glares on the single ape, Titus. They were listening but, alerted at Nikita's actions. She had not moved, so no need to close more in yet. Stunningly, they allowed the CEO to speak the truth.
Once he had completed, they both shot their eyes to their captain. Unsure at this moment what action to proceed with.
The captain rose a brow, nibbling on his lip. Sure she had saved lawsuits, laws, even staff. But laws were laws. His hand shot into the air. "I'm sorry Titus, but I can't disobey the century-old law." he heartlessly explains. "Proceed!"
Of course, they would complain, a few patrols.
"Ugh! Muzzle that mutt. She has no say here!" he calls out. But the one closer did not, as he would listen to the captain before a low-ranked ape. "What are you waiting for?!"
Once again the captain rose a hand, signaling to halt for a moment he allowed her to speak. He went silent. Contemplating intently.
One of them drops their gun, sighing. He peers over to their leader. "Captain?" he asks, wanting some kind of action.
He was silent. Nikita had a solid point.

Elisabeth attempted to read each of their lips, but she couldn't get it all. It wasn't until one of them say muzzle her and has no say here. She bent down, hiding in Nikita's fur so they couldn't do that. If she was muzzled, there went her ability to speak and she'd be left to sign her words.
She was confused when she saw an ape dropping their gun and Elisabeth swallowed, withdrawing her mouth from Nikita's fur. She wasn't sure whether or not they cared about the countless apes she just saved. She was gallant? But none of them - seemed to think that except maybe Nikita. Elisabeth let out a tense sigh.
Elisabeth conceived she did have a voice and what was the use in using it to speak or acknowledge apes when she was actually forbidden to say anything.
"Uhhhh...." She spoke. "That's a stupid silly thing to do...Muzzle a human who just saved countless apes and their families, and the employees who work on these giant machines."
-0-
Titus overheard them and shook his head. "Look. If it weren't for this human, there would be a great loss of lives today. Including all of my employees. If not for this human, I would have gone into bankruptcy and I would have been a poor ape as soon as the lawsuits started to pile in. What if it involved your families? What if your wife and children were onboard? Let them go. Or should I alert Kratos that you refuse to let them go just because of some innate revenge you want on this ape and this human pet."

Norrix had gotten word of the strange commotion as he was on duty with discussing a few things that might shift around the area. Of course, he was required to gain access from the President. He wasn't one to always go to him, but at times the council who 'worked' together He rarely needs to go to them, depending on what.
After receiving the information, even the details, he swiftly abandoned what he was talking to the group about, and departed. It wouldn't take him very long to arrive. But the congested area by cars, even having the cops gradually close off the pathway completely.
Gradually he would arrive at the misunderstood situation. As he approaches, he commands the law enforcement to have the press more back, as this situation could get 'dangerous'. He plans to say to forcefully have them back down.
His sights couldn't believe what he was observing at that moment. Foolish patrols aiming their pistols at Nikita. Has these head of patrols gone insane? Seems this city has been getting more dumb with each event. The last one he listened to, was outrageous.
He proudly storms in, hands clasped behind his back. He angrily storms over to the head patrol. "Have you gone mad?" he questions as the ape cowers down. He fired his raging eyes over to the line of guards. "Stand down, now!" he orders. "This is insane, whether it is the law or not. You have no authority to bring such a valuable guest to your commands." he rolls his hair back, sighing, angrily. "Ugh, even Kratos would agree," he brings out his phone. "Care to speak?"

A few patrols roll their eyes, even snickering at the retorted statement from the deaf human. Of course, the apes wouldn't listen to a human, they are either servants or pets. It's foolish to do such a thing.
The captain glared over at her comments that she enjoys to throw out. It was starting to vex the captain and a few of his patrols. Humans were becoming a nuisance each day. His finger shot over to Elisabeth. "Muzzle that mutt when you get the chance," he orders one of the ones that were cackling.
Again, the ape Titus continued to rightfully correct the situation by honest, heroic facts. But like normal, they would shut him up by words, and went to deadly force at Nikita. "ENough from you, conductor! She broke a law! If we don't comply, then others in the future will try to get off. You want that?" He snarls.
He wasn't done, "I'm glad that human and ape prevented horrid disaster, but the law is law. You know what happens when you break the upper ones."
The head patrol indeed lowly coward. He was one of the utmost ranks in the city. Even his eyes would strike into your eyes, obeying to cower. His head shook, nervously looking away. He extended his arm and dropped it swiftly. "Stand down." he orders his underlings.
Every patrol that was aiming their weapons, placed them into the holster, and backed away. They did not want to go near the ticked of general. Even the head guard evaded away, descending into the shadows. Even he didn't want to deal with him.

Titus sighed. But not in defeat. He then got a little surprised when Norrix arrived and took command. The CEO had things to do with his trains. And that meant two test runs and checking each one. It would be a few days, even weeks. His project would have to wait.
He noticed the patrol backing off slowly. There was no need to arrest Nikita or the human or her child. He peered over to Nikita and then Elisabeth. He gave a little nod to her and walked over to Norrix. "The human deserves some recognition for this. The news is arriving."

When they finally scatted about, either to evade or completely avoid the head of the law enforcement. Well, it was good they at least compiled and not be foolish and disobey. They sure were foolish, especially to how to handle a situation they likely didn't understand. Honestly, the troops should have been involved more. Considering it was dealing with a foreign visitor.
'Next time why don't you ask for assistance?" he suggests, with a rough snort. He walks away from the foolish patrols. He was wandering over to Nikita for an apology, but the small chimp Titus came over to speak. His brows rose, placing a large palm onto his shoulder.
"You want the press to come over here and record everything? I even avoid them. Your best bet is getting a single interview with non-news apes," he suggests. "You avoid the news just now."

"Since the patrols are scattered around, I'll have to have someone from my PR department talk to them. But, now I have work to do and thank you for your help. It's much appreciated." Titus said, reaching out to shake his hand.
He glanced over to Nikita and Elisabeth, and Nikita's little one.
The press were coming, but a barrier prevented them from entering the area. It was still dangerous and the chemicals had leaked onto the rails. It still wasn't safe and they would need to move the trains from those tracks. And cleanse them. It would take time. He thought about his personal limo. Then he asked, "How would you like to tour the city via a personal tour by a reputable source?" He asked, thoughtfully. "And your pet- will get whatever she wants since she saved countless lives today and prevented a disaster." He glanced over to Elisabeth and asked, "What do you want little human?"

Elisabeth didn't want to stop sightseeing and when she read Nikita's lips, she was surprised. "Maybe you should leave me at the hotel instead?" She offered, helpfully. Despite the fact that- Titus had offered her something, she did seem interested. "Take her and her daughter. Not me. You can't give me something because all I ever want is my hearing."
It was her secret and lifelong wish. She just wished she could hear again. That dreadful ear infection- if she would have not lost her hearing to it. She knew the apes had a lot of technology, but she hadn't thought about using it for her benefit. She could hear sounds again, even singing, voices, and without having to always read lips.
Reading lips was often tiring to her eyes and she'd have some form of eyestrain.
She would have to face the stupid bodyguards in the motel and behave. They didn't care for her and still blamed her anyway. She gave them no mind. But when it came to it. It was just one of those 'things'.

Finally, some relief that the actual General made his presence at the situation. He was making things correct and not foolishly acting in violence. Just loud voices to demand what he sees as fit. The most thing Nikita was annoyed by, was the patrols threatening her family, especially to the heroic human.
She defensively encased Elisabeth into her body, bringing her into her chest, protecting. "No! I will not muzzle my pet that isn't yours! You just can't stand a human being correct for once? You'll have to pryHer from my strong grip," she bores her fangs, lowering her head, placing her chin onto Elisabeth's sort head.
The patrol we're surely not fools to disobey Norrix, seems they have some smarts there. Even the Head of law enforcement was cowering down to his outrage of the situation. At least the scene was morphing back to the right way it should have been handled in the beginning.
As the apes scattered from the intimidation of Norrix, or the press that might place a bad say into him. She glimpses over, receiving a kind bow from Titus. She nods back. Perhaps she could thank him now, or later.
She walks off to head back to the hotel until she heard the possibility of the three being in the press. She turns around, swaying her hands."No, no please, no press. They've already had false implications from yesterday, shifting it to something awful. Please, no press." She desperately says.
Then, Titus kindly offered to tour the city, since he was very familiar with it. "I, uh, well, " she scratches her head. Unsure. She peers over to the congested press. Well, there was no easy way to depart without cameras in your face.
She grimaces, glancing back over to Titus. "I, I guess. Might be the safest place to leave." she agreed, slowly dropping her hand. "Thanks for earlier, and im sure Elisabeth might just enjoy that. For once not being condemned for little things."
She shook her head, petting Elisabeth's head. "No, no. You earned it by your dedication to helping." She mentions. "Besides I bet that hotel is waiting for me. People like to seep out information."

Titus nodded in agreement with her. "Yes. You earned it because you have just proven that you are more dedicated to helping apes instead of thinking we're all awful. Some patrol apes are just out for their own personal gains. They are foolishly intercepting the wrong citizens and even a ruler. I read the newspapers. It's awful to imprison a country's leader just because they were protecting their child."
"I have a limo and it's pretty big. I know of a way off this platform without the press' camera's in your faces." He pointed to building that was clearly one his offices. "This way please."
He gestured for the three of them to follow him.
