Norrix smiles, bobbing his head as he completely agreed with his method. He shifts his hand from Titus's broad shoulder, the contact to the other behind his posterior. "Thank you, Titus, apes like you I am well pleased. Without intelligent, reasonable apes, we would be at a disadvantage."
He enthusiastically clasps his hand firmly, giving it quite a bounce. "Yes, do what you need to keep your transportation back to safety." he inspects over to Nikita, then Elisabeth. "I better go and deal with the shaky chief," he grunts, crushing his fingers together. "This law enforcement," he mutes, angrily walking over to the ape. "Good job, human," he appends.
Nikita gazes down at Elisabeth, fiddling with her locks, smiling. "Come on, let's go with him to avoid these ticks.." she groans, lowering her hand to her side. "It's better, then to have cameras in our face." she coolly instructs her pet.
At first, she was skeptical. This city was new, she didn't know the ape, nor his mysterious intentions. For a moment she peers around, the site was horrid. The aroma was a killer, the apes nearby craved a taste of a story to manipulate. She reluctantly decides.
She traces after Titus. "Thank you," she expresses gratefulness, continuing where he directs.

Titus smiled and nodded. "Young apes are over-eager and are only out to look to fill their quota or cause some kind of action with the press being present."
Then he looked over to Nikita and Elisabeth. Hopeful that they both would accept his generosity towards them.
Elisabeth looked up at Norrix when he told her that she did well. The smell was lingering in the air, but not as bad as it was before. She guess because the train was on, it was worse. She gave a slight nod towards Norrix.
Then the way Nikita called the press, ticks, had her thinking of those little bloodsuckers in the jungle. "I hate ticks. Nothing but pests and always looking for the best human to suck their food from." She also believed that some apes who want juicy bits of information would do the same.
She followed Nikita and Titus towards this building. Stepping into the air conditioned building, it felt good, compared to the heated day and Elisabeth's curiosity just got the best of her when she saw pictures of all types of vehicles. She even tapped a picture with a fingernail. She had seen pictures in the hotel of buildings, the jungle, and a few planted pots. But here was something so interesting. So different from those. "Hmm.."

Nikita lifts her eyes, peering over to a few patrols discussing amongst each other. What were they? Probably the recent deadly event. Then surveys another location, near the broken down train. They all seem young, but quite. the bit was older. Just following silly orders.
Her sights return to Titus. "I can see that happening." she sighs, looking down at Elizabeth. "The older ones seem bright, just following their commands. Poor apes."
Nikita still had a little doubt lingering inside, but she didn't sense anything off. If so, she'd hastily decline. Plus, there's no positive exit, apes and press swarmed behind the barriers.
Nikita smirks, signing to her. "That's the point, Elisabeth." She kindly pats her head, smiling, looking over at the desperate apes. "Seeking an interesting story, then sucking the goodness out of it. Not all are, but the majority."
Nikita glances back, taking a moment to consider if she should remain back. It only took one snapshot from an ape who snuck their way in. She bolts in.
She lightly shifts herself. Elisabeth was correct, the coolness was very welcoming. Nikita had ignored the professional pictures as she was still on high alert. It wouldn't be until she pauses, walking back to Elisabeth. She examines it, pondering why her pet was so intrigued.
"Everything alright, do you sense another wronging?" she asks, in high hopes of no more trouble.

Titus noticed the humans' interest in the professional photos. "Ah...Curious inquisitive pet that one is." He walked over to them. "That is called an airplane. It flies in the air. Like a bird flies in the air." He explained to the human as if a child, but then wondered why Elisabeth didn't answer. He frowned. "She's deaf, isn't she?" He asked, gently turning her to look into his face. "It's called an airplane. It flies in the air, like a bird flies in the air." He said, knowing how Nikita signed or talked directly to Elisabeth.
"There's another exit on the side of the building and we can leave the building through that." He immediately picked up his cell phone and called his driver. "Meet me on the east side of the building."
Then he said, "Follow me." Then led the way towards the east side of the building.

Elisabeth beamed with a little smile towards Titus. However, couldn't sense anything wrong about the building. She grabbed Nikita's hand and followed Titus. She didn't mind, leading her, to show that nothing was wrong. She also slipped some pamphlets for some reason. Like maybe a memento. She actually thought this was part of the tour and wouldn't mind taking some pamphlets on the way.
Why couldn't she have some fun while in the City? Despite being apes and treating humans like pets? Who cares? It wasn't like she didn't have any 'intelligence'.

A plane? Elisabeth has been around the jungles and didn't even notice what it was. Then she drops her eyes down to Elisabeth's ears. Right, her pet had been deaf. How long? Well, she spoke quite clearly. Perhaps after she was taught to sign, and talk. It would make sense why Elisabeth was so drawn by it.
Yeah, curious. Her curiosity sure causes trouble. she softly nods her head, placing a gentle hand over her shoulder. "She's a very curious animal. Especially when she's in the city," she explains to Titus, then fixes her sights on the photo. "At times it has gotten her in trouble," quietly she adds.
"Yeah," Nikita sadly confirms Titus's valid assumption. "I'm not sure how long, but ever since I found her in the jungle. I didn't want a human here, well she kinda picked me, and in time I accepted. I kept using different tactics trying to keep her where she belonged, well it didn't work," she sighs.
Nikita looks down at Elisabeth's gentle hand. She warmly smiles, following after she leads. Not once did she frown.

Titus showed a rare smile. "Maybe she liked you and felt safer with you. She would have run if she was able to hear." He walked down a hallway, with doors. Many of them closed to the public. Placards of names were on the doors.
Elisabeth noted all the names, as she followed Titus. She continued to keep a hold of Nikita's hand.
Titus didn't show any signs of going through them and now lead them through a museum of aerial crafts and the like.
Oh my goodness...Elisabeth thought. Wow. All these weird plane things. She wanted to look at them all and even as well as going in them. It was so interesting. "Wow." Was all she replied and let go of Nikita's hand. She was innately curious and ran towards one of the aerial planes. An intense curiosity playing on her face.
Titus paused when he saw Elisabeth running towards an airplane.

Perhaps that could be it? But Elisabeth was threatened many times. Still, she kept tracking. Then, upon arrival unintentionally brought trouble on both sides. She wouldn't drop her, but her patrols surely did try to convince. A little too rough.
She mildly shook her head, though, kept a petite smile. "I'm not sure. She was threatened twice, especially at gunpoint." she mutely shares, casually walking with Titus. She was just quite pleased her rough patrol was back with her other daughter. Someone had to remain back.
Before she scurries off, Nikita had already schemed once Elisabeth's eyes darted and mouth dropped. She hastily uses her other hand to grab around her waist. She brought her back over.
"Oh, no you don't, " she snickers, seriously not wanting any more issues. "I don't think so." She places her back onto the polished floor. "It's a better experience to be in one, " she winks, releasing her soft hands.
"Just ask, don't keep running off, " she sighs as she signed to her. "It causes less trouble."

Titus began to think. "Sometimes, they don't know danger if they haven't ever met any type of danger. She's either very sheltered or she was kept out of trouble and danger. Now, she sees the opportunity to learn and see what we have. Curiosity is dangerous in a place like this." Luckily, he didn't have to stop Elisabeth nor should he have spoken because Nikita seemed to sense that curiosity. "These are all old. It'd be costly to repair one of these aerial crafts."
He led the way to a door and he opened it and the limo waited, it's engine running. The driver waiting nearby.

Elisabeth was more than willing to read what Nikita signed. There was no way to go looking and exploring at this time. She decided not to get into any more trouble. Nikita would get tired of her and drop her off- a cage. Then imagine the surprise of an ape who would actually use her.
She looked at the fancy limo.

Damien was bored.
He didn’t know what Titus wanted him to do. So he basically just sat there counting the minutes it took for the ape to get out there. After all. He was not ready to be seen in public by that oaf’s side. And he kind of doubted he’d ever be ready at all.
He could see them coming now though. So he scooted over in his seat. “Ugh. Another one, really?” He muttered at seeing Nikita.

The driver turned to look at him. "Mind your manners, young pup."

Titus gave him a warning glare, promising something if he were ever disrespectful to another ape. He allowed Nikita and Elisabeth in first. Because he did not need reporters scurrying over for shots of them both. He kept an eye out in case they saw them.

Nikita wasn't sure on that. Any human that's out on the wicked jungles, had to encounter some danger. There are freight and animals that could kill in every direction. Maybe Titus was correct. If so, where was she the entire time?
She didn't want to argue, as this chimp might be intensely correct. After all, she isn't too familiar with the country.
Her head bobs, lifting a finger. "Very true, Titus, as that would reveal her high curiosity." She shook her head, wincing, "She really likes to unintentionally go into danger," she mildly sighs.
Nikita couldn't agree more, she's witnessed the trouble Elisabeth does. With the aged crafts, she didn't need to temp with it. "We honestly don't." she lightly glares down at her pet.
Nikita causally enters but had Elisabeth enter first, preventing her active fingers. She hadn't notice Damien quite yet.
"I'd like to stop on one of the pet clothing stores. I don't want Elisabeth only be dressed in my daughter's clothes." she lightly snickers, placing her daughter next to her.
Then she witnessed the dark glare and looks over. It was an adorable young child. Did he adopt him? She wasn't aware of the new law, it's good she wasn't at that time.
She cheerily displays a warm smile. "Oh look at you, you're so adorable," she compliments. She'd squeeze his cheeks, but she wasn't his. "What's your name?"

Damien slinked back at the dark glare.
Of course he could hear the talk of pet clothing stores and was sure he knew that he’d have to get some. Ugh. He wanted to avoid that even if he did stick out like a sore thumb. “He needs to travel too,” he murmured a bit. “Lest i look like a slob as the pet of a high ranking ape.” He added.
He blushed at being called adorable. “Damien, m’am.” He was sure to keep further from where his master was going to seat himself. Hoping for less humiliation.

Now Elisabeth believed that she did more wrong because of the light glare given her way. When she got into the limo, she just looked out the window. Not really paying any attention to the human child in front of her. She didn't lip read their conversation, so she didn't hear anything anyway.
-0-
Titus soon entered and nodded to Nikita, "Yes, the closest one is Warrens."
He cast a look at his own human pet and chuckled. He sat near his pet, not really intending to humiliate him by placing him on his lap. Then he noticed, Elisabeth looking out of the window. He wondered what was wrong? He slowly tapped her shoulder and signed, "Something wrong?"
-0-
Elisabeth felt a tap on her shoulder and turned to look to see who wanted her attention. She shook her head no and then proceeded to look out the window.
-0-
The driver was aware of the destination in mind and drove them to Warrens. Meanwhile, Titus' media relations crew met with the reporters and they confirmed that many apes and humans were saved by a human and that the trains wouldn't be running for a few days until they could make repairs and checking out the trains first.

Damien felt thankful that he sat next to him.
But honestly he didn’t know whether or not to sit there with the crowd. Or better yet, with an orangutan he didn’t know. Maybe it seemed a little unnerving right now. But he asked. “What’s so funny?” He asked as he decided it wasn’t humiliation if he chose to sit safely on his lap.
And so for the first time since he’d come to Titus he climbed into Titus’ lap willingly. Leaning against his fur in an attempt to show he definitely was not a human to be cooed over to the female orangutan. “How far is this Warren’s place anyway?”

"You. First you wanted to avoid me...Now you're sitting in my lap. Looks like you're falling into your new role nicely. Now I can give you a reward." He figured. "About a mile or so from here. Might as well make yourself comfortable."
Since Elisabeth shook her head, he dropped the subject. He knew something was bothering her. She wouldn't tell.
