Nikita ponders to herself on how this country might help one another. Could they really do it? She wasn't sure if she should interfere. But it's dealing with Sweden and the States. Eventually she returns to talk.
"Titus," she quietly mutters, slowly striking a finger up. "Do you think that that intelligent council member, Max? Was it? Do you think he could start up a meeting and discuss among the others ways and possibilities? He is high up, isn't he?"
"That's what I mean about humans escaping, some Overlord camps. Our frigid winters would kill in a manner of seconds," she goes into details. Her head gently shook, "no, no, they are provided pelts for warmth."
Nikita rolls her eyes. Not this again. "Sorry, Elisabeth, you're an animal whether you like it or not. You were not ape-raised." She attempts to explain the inner details, "even that snugged collar is one of the proofs."

Titus wasn't sure whether or not Maximus would be able to pull any strings on a country willing to be an ally. "I can contact him and see if he can. We need all the allies we can get and yes. He's high up alongside with Zaius."
Then Titus remarked, "They always try to escape and fail."

Elisabeth was highly offended by being called an animal and then having any added insult to injury...the dreadful collar was the most uncomfortable thing around her neck already. She hadn't had the collar removed since being in the care of Nikita. Then eating was a chore..as usual...and she wouldn't eat much anyway...because when the food arrived, she knew that she would not finish the portions. The portions were too big for her to even eat.
She began to pick at her food, looking for smaller pieces and bites. The issue with the collar equaled less likely to eat anyway. She decided not to talk to Nikita about the collar. She could ignore every ape. Even the waitress. She disliked being called an uncivilized animal especially in front of every ape's ear. No amount of apology would help either. Well, uncivilized meant eating with her fingers and mouth. She decided to not even use the utensils or drink from the glass. She picked at her food with her hands instead of the fork. And that's when she made a choice not to consume any bite of her meal.
She lost her appetite.

Nikita kinda expected for a positive response from Titus, he's been very productive and kind. Something this visit really has brought from others. Just pure chaos, humiliation, and dimwitted. She wonders herself even if she really should try to initiate any peace here.
"Well, mind as well try," she smiles over, drawing her finger downward. She smiles, ignoring the waitress for a moment. "Thanks for all you have done."
"Well....I was meaning trying with frigid temperatures. I'll be honest, it's been hot, even at night."
She really didn't pay attention to the childish behavior to the human. Elisabeth will learn one way or another. She is an animal in this society, this age of humans serving apes. She shakes her head noting her not touching anything. If Elisabeth tries to bolt, she's locked on a leash and unable to unclip it, at all.
"Elisabeth, you don't eat you will starve. How rude of you saying you're hungry than not eating what you chose. I'll tell you again, you start acting like a pup, you will wear my youngest clothes instead of the one you have"

Titus smiled as he began to eat some of his food. His eye caught Elisabeth picking her food. He wasn't sure whether or not why she was picking at it. It seemed she was searching for smaller pieces. Then he realized that Elisabeth was not used to the collar or the 'leash' and she didn't seem to know what they were talking about. He took a sip of his drink as he pondered about how to obtain peace. "Ah-Peace. The president should 'really' consider the matters of this country's allies and enemies. He should not blow it off. You would think our government would accommodate another country's customs and not show dominance over a fellow ruler. It makes for a bad relationship if a country doesn't do that. Maximus has been on the human's side if the cause is right." Titus finally explained his logic. "The weather scientists say it's because we're in a period of 'global warming'." He does pay attention to the news.

Elisabeth was preoccupied in her 'salad' which would have been eaten in no time without a single issue and didn't care what Nikita was signing nor what Titus was saying. She was picking out large pieces and small pieces of chicken. Well, there were more big pieces than small. It was cut up for an ape's mouth. Her mouth was small.
By the time she was finished 'looking' at the salad, she caught the end of a remark about wearing someone's youngest clothes. Now it was Elisabeth's turn to look confused. She was quite capable of making her own 'decisions' and 'her own choices' on what she wanted. What was Nikita talking about anyway.

Elisabeth had to be faking it. Because she's been with that collar for over a month now. There should be no reason. Besides Nikita kept switching them out until one was perfect. No issue at all.
Nikita kinda lost her appetite but kept that secret. She was only eating slower that's all. She frowned for a short amount of time. Was she foolish to come here?
"I've been trying, but hes acting like he really doesn't want to form it. I mean he listened to a newbie to the job, over my own, older witnesses, " she explains, getting concerned. "If he won't believe me...then we obviously have trust issues amongst each other. Which forms wars."
Her head shakes, returning to her meal, remaining quiet for at least a minute. What more was there to say? She sighs.
Her head nods. "Yes. He's been actually trying to make the alliance work."
No, no that's not what she meant. She slightly snickered, peering over at Titus. "I was meaning here...its hotter than what I'm used to."
- Nikita quietly returns her eyes back on Elisabeth. Secretly she was exhausted and annoyed. She hid it well.
She took paper and wrote all the things she said to Elisabeth and placed it in front of her to finally understand her 'trouble'.

Titus was thinking about the trust issues. If Kratos didn't have any trust in the countries that seek allies, then they were back to the old ages of no allies. Titus shook his head. "Then Maximus will probably persuade Kratos to seek restitution. And if he won't listen to any other country's leader or rulers, we have greater issues." Titus glanced at Elisabeth. She was fiddling with her salad. He wondered if she was just a picky eater or she required a smaller bites salad. He watched her curiously.
Then he laughed, "Oh. It is."
Elisabeth wasn't faking it with a collar. It didn't matter how many different ones she tried one. It was just so embarrassing to be seen in one in such a fine restaurant. She was tired of wearing collars and leashes. Apes didn't care about the way humans viewed themselves. She was a hero for goodness sake's and she was being treated like a 'mindless beast' without a brain or intelligence. Elisabeth finished 'looking' through her salad. Her troubles began when she began to eat the bites that would require no effort of swallowing. She saw a knife and then a piece of paper. Slowly reaching for it, she read the letter. It basically said that she would be wearing her youngest's daughters clothing and in some sort of trouble.
Now she was in trouble. She begrudgingly ate her salad slowly. She drank her soda and refused any more. She even refused dessert.

Nikita bows her head, agreeing for a few minutes. Maximus appears to thrive intently to have the alliance work perfectly. He was a council member that would gradually perform better as a leader. Those are the thoughts that lingered over her mind. Suddenly a unique possibility appeared as a thought. If needed, can they remove Kratos from his 'high chair'.
She gently waves her glass, clicking her tongue. "Well, at least one, possibly two council members views this as a possibility and would want to try again," she takes a swift sip then settles it down beside her near-empty plate. "I'm willing to try again," she honestly confirms, smiling over at Titus.
She pouts for a moment while removing ELisabeth's collar, "I kinda missed home," she quietly admits. "I enjoy the cold," she adds. Her head rose, glad to share an idea with him, "would you like to visit my country? Someday?"
She returns her serene focus on her human, speaking, "DOn't try to scurry off. One time you do, I'll lock the collar on you," she warns.

Titus was taking a moment to think of a way that he could possibly help in an important aspect. "For one, I do believe that some members are also set in their ways. There's always three who decide the laws and they try to uphold them. If they would change some of our laws, things would be different." He glanced over to Elisabeth for a moment. She was busily trying to get rid of the collar. It must be an annoying thing to wear. He had always seen humans wearing collars. But what does it really feel like to them? He didn't know how much convincing he could do regarding that law.
"I'd like to visit another country."
Elisabeth was overjoyed that the stupid collar finally was off her nape and gave Nikita's arm a squeeze with her hand. She wouldn't even make it past the armed guards on every corner. It was like they were paranoid. Now, Elisabeth could finish her meal without the collar on her nape. It didn't matter whether it was on or not. She finally achieved what she wanted.
She hadn't been thinking of running off anyway. That was the last thing she had on her mind.
Titus was surprised how relieved Elisabeth looked without her collar.

Set in their ways? Now that's a statement Nikita intently followed with. It was a chance that two 'bull-headed' apes were what the city needed. Nikita never had to operate her country by a group. Though, was it better that way? Clearly more than one input, and a greater expansion of solutions.
She clicks her tongue, gently drumming the tip of the fork against the porcelain plate. "Mmm, maybe that's what creates brilliant outcomes, or affirmative?" she muffles to herself, wondering. She shot her gentle stare on Titus, "ever thought of joining the council? Or too overwhelming?" she really wanted to lure the topic to another, without being about the alliance.
She peers down, not expecting to be clutched. What was that? A small hug of gratitude or? She shook her head, returning her focus on Titus. "Really? You can come when you have time or feel like you need it," she heartedly smiles.
Yeah, unknowingly to Elisabeth, that collar was going to return when they would depart. So her victory wouldn't last.
