Titus had been thinking about joining the council, but his ideas weren't always on par with theirs. "I have thought about it. I run the entire transportation business, making decisions, inspections now more than ever, and attempting to take in humans who need a home." He said. "And I am a softie when it comes to children. I don't like scaring kids. But sometimes, adults push me into things I have to do. I'm protective of my house."
Titus continued, "I'm not sure if the council would accept a fresher mind or not. They don't want to hear about the news of ape raised humans becoming black market sales. I read a classified of a lost 14 year old ape-raised human by the name of Olivia. It's sad that the council members won't even look into the missing people and I think it's starting to become an inside job."

Elisabeth was sure that the simple sign of hugging or clutching an arm was a good thing. Well, the head shake was something she wasn't expecting. She wasn't sure what she was expecting. Her simple squeeze usually was a comfort to other deaf humans. It was one of the habits. She frowned and decided touching or squeezing was a bad idea. Oh well. She was completely done with her salad.
Now she was not going to pay any attention by her sight. It wouldn't matter as they were talking about something other. And her 'hero' status was nothing new anyway. On the news, everywhere. It wasn't any big deal.

Titus was saying, "I am able to travel."

Nikita delicately tapped the fragile glass, considering a few possibilities that could be proven to be useful regarding the possible meeting. Inside her heart, she didn't want another war. She lost a few close relatives. One time, almost a son.
Concealing the dark worry that secretly consumed her, Nikita sweetly smiles over at Titus.
"He's a very good council member to transfer opinions and actions where it needs to be," she honestly confirms about Maximus. Then, she sighs, "why not the others?"
Nikita shakes her head, denying that false statement. "No, not entirely true, Titus." Her finger drops on the tabletop, educating, "wild humans back at my home country, they learn once with the wicked frigid weather."
Nikita darkly scowls, revealing her expanding annoyance by Elisabeth's unnecessary disobedience. Actually, she was nearly at the peak to have a bodyguard to escort her out.
Swiftly she expresses her fury in another paper by solid instructions for Elisabeth to read and follow. The orders Nikita had required had been; Eat now or you'll leave. You may be an animal, but you've been proven to be trained a bit to eat as desired you to.

Titus smiled back at her, unaware of the worry she had. He considered that Maximus was possibly one of few overlords with some form of 'reasoning' and fairness. "He's fair. But the others have their own views and opinions on certain matters." Titus thought about the others. "They're harder to convince for change." Titus said. "I think Maximus attempted to change their minds every so often. Reminding them of matters that needed to be looked into."
"They require our help when it comes to cold frigid weather and freezing to death."

Elisabeth didn't know what the big deal about clutching Nikita's arm was about. She hadn't been doing anything but sitting there. She already had eaten all her salad and to add insult to injury, she had no idea what was she was doing wrong. She simply did not seem to understand what she was so 'furious' about. The note was as unnecessary as she already eaten.
The first thoughts of fleeing popped into her head along with her instincts to run away from an animal with unbridled fury. She began to move away, towards the end of the seat, putting 'what distance' she could away from Nikita and her fury. Clearly, she still didn't know why she was angry with her. She had been 'listening' to her at best. Or reading and following her 'orders?'
Elisabeth hadn't been interested in their discussion about 'council matters and so forth' and she didn't feel the need to talk about that either.
