"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Zaius shook his head, listening to the other information that was gradually dragged in. "Actually, according to Bartu's testimony, he didn't apply the muzzle until a while later. If that human was bright," he snorts, "which I doubt by the readings of the event." His head pivoted back and forth, straightening his back. "This creature would inform because of the dangers of her young. Which does come naturally? But, clearly, she is disabled in the mind." A short snicker came out.

Zephram shook his head, side to side. "Putting yourself into her shoes and seeing a predator- lets say a liger, would you tell them you're pregnant and are giving birth, expect mercy or some gentleness from a predator who is relying purely on the instinct of survival. There is a saying that humans used to say. 'Survival of the fittest'. The same concept applies to humans and apes."

Maximus was deeply surprised that this still proceeding. "All right. So, we've already established that the human needs specialized care from a vet and testing from a lab. Our labs are state of the art and the scientists will not harm this human. When the tests are complete and all the data collected, then we can look at the details and make an appropriate decision of where this human will go in the future." Maximus was growing tired of the outcome. "And this must stop. We all have these details. All we're doing is going around in circles." Maximus closed his folder to signal that his discussion had been closed. He hoped Zaius and Kratos would agree with him.

Bartu rolled his eyes, slightly pounding the edge of the table to receive all attention. "I highly object. You are judging that I couldn't even handle a sick human? I had my brother sickened, near hospice at one point. I balanced work and helping him. My father at the time was working twice as much to keep things going. I can't believe you're saying I can't I can even throw out the evidence. Ape life is important." he snorts.

Zephram was seated at the table, quietly listening to the exchange. "This is different than an ape." He finally spoke. "You're talking about an ape that was sick and on hospice. This is a young human pup who is too fragile in health. If we throw her into the Army barracks, the chances are all the activity there will stress her out even more further prompting her to fall into a depressive state. They have this system of obedience of a 3-5 strikes system. If she ever- gotten any of those strikes, she'd not live long under those circumstances." Zephram looked over to phoenix, Serenity, and the rest of the council.

Zaius rose his hand to the other apes, clearly annoyed like Maximus. He didn't blame Maximus, it was just looping back to what they had already discussed. "That's enough," he stunningly spoke in a gentle tone. Perhaps he was just in the mood to have this already sorted out. There was more in line to be dealt with. He peers over to the President. "You're already in agreement to have this creature monitored at the labs with vets along? And Maximus agrees to have her future be later."

Zephram was silent now that the results were done. "Then we're all finished here and her fate will be discussed in the future."
