Maxwell jumped Rowan. "Go. I'll distract him." He wrapped an arm around Rowan's neck. It would take more than a swift kick to his cheek to make him go down. He couldn't very well choke the ape because his arms were thin. He began to clobber him with a tight fist. "Leave! Go! Don't look back!"

Don't look back or go? Maxwell wasn't very vigilant around just more occupied in uselessly stopping Rowan. Venus want prepared for the hit like she was with the others. His dropping sound blocked his fist. Venus yelped, bashing into the hide of the horse, dropping to the ground. The hit shifted the muzzle. What a wicked hit from such strength. She used her bound hands to stroke her cheek. "Get out of here you foolish human!" She called out.

"Save yourself!" Maxwell had a feeling she wasn't going to leave. "Save yourselves. They want me because they believe a lie!"

Melanie didn't wait and ran off into the jungle. There was no way she was going to stay around for them to return. They were scattered. Rowan was the only one behind.

Maxwell delivered one final punch to Rowan. Then he jumped down. "Then come with me. Don't stay here with them! They'll hurt you with that and you're like us. We can find other humans."

Galen and the gorilla hunters pursued the horse and Silas. He leaped forward, easing the horse into a stop! He noticed that Silas was covered in mud and his anger was very prominent. He began to do some first aid on his lesser wounds. "Stupid humans. We should not ever let down our guard. They may be wilder than I thought."

Venus rested her back on the ground, blindly peering skywards, unaware the time of day. Her head shook, firing her bound hands to a random direction. "Get out of here! I'm staying." She sighed, dropping her hands. "Just go before your distance between each is slimmer. That hit really took a hit. Don't cause more ruckus for yourselves. Your chance to go, now go!'

Maxwell wasn't about to let her stay bound and brought out a painting scalpel that was so sharp and clean, - not at all filled with any ape's blood, cut her binds loose. "As soon as you can-" He spoke before kneeling. "Take as many as you can." He stood up, and fled into the jungle, pocketing his scalpel as he did.
He caught up with Melanie, wondering where she was heading to.

"Thanks." She mutters as Maxwell booked over to find Melanie. Good they have a higher chance as they would probably focused on the influencer. She was dazed for a moment as she laid there. She rubbed her face that was going to be in pain awhile. She rose up to her feet and gradually climbed the horse. She reached over for the reins.

Rowan wasn't done with her yet. He may have been hit, but he had the remote to her collar and he pressed it, sending the shock right into her- if this human wanted to be shocked, then so be it. He glared at her. Not at all pleased!

Venus didn't make a sound that time. She forced herself to numb the ongoing pain. She winced intently, having no strength to remain on the steed, and fell off to the side. She rose her hands in front. "Please no more." She sluggishly pleaded, feeling the harsh tense opened wounds sting even worse. Lightly blood excreted down from her neck, as parts of the blood wasn't fried. She'd hope the others got a clean get away.

Rowan clicked off the remote. "So you're now going to behave after all that fight? Sometimes, it's better to be obedient than to be defiant. Defiance is not an option!" Rowan noticed the light blood on her. But that was her fault. Entirely her fault for not obeying when she should have.

(Combined)
Maxwell and Melanie ran through the jungle. It was easy for them to find a way out of their little caravan. Leaving Venus behind would be a 'distraction' for the other apes. They weren't going to chase them when they look after their own. Except they left the handler to deal with all three.
Maxwell thought he heard something, but brushed it off. There were always animals scampering, most of them not- really dangerous. And big. Not really an ape. Just probably a Squirrel rabbit. Those were good eating...But later- food couldn't or wouldn't come any time soon. And they weren't hungry. They were just realistically trying to flee the apes.

Venus had no choice to give in as either two or three more shocks would easily kill her. She had been fried too many times, even her blood was now singed that escaped, until quite a bit came out. But it was her fault, she was only doing it to help the other two, as she kept on doing it. Even if she wanted to go with the two, she'd slow them down by an exceedingly slow pace. Apes never understood humans at times. She glared for a moment, then glanced away.

"Good girl! Now, let's wait for the others to return and then we can all go to the vet- to check out your neck and any other further injuries you may have caused in your attempt to be a bad girl." Rowan patted her head lightly, almost like a dog in the city. They really need to learn to accept what they must. He wasn't a bad ape. But tick him off, then he wasn't so nice.
